Many movies bore me to tears. If they don't, I end up getting headaches. Either way, not a very pleasant experience I'm watching once upon a time /not a movie BUT.

2012. I SERIOUSLY EXPECTED THE WORLD TO END.
But yeah, maybe another 10-50 years perhaps

I did. I mean, I didn't really believe it, because we also have religious views on that matter. A serious of events to happen before the end of the world, and no major sign showed up or anything But what with that bloody Mayan calender making a big fuss, I thought I'd never see this world again
Though in the 2012 movie the world didn't really end, though

I'd advise the movies The Princess Bride, because it is silly but also romantic with a wonderful adventure. You can't forget Andre the Giant, as well. He put his hand on the top of the female lead's head, to keep her warm. It is a movie from my childhood.
The Labyrinth, a young girl, who is only sixteen, goes to save her brother from David Bowie after banishing him, and then realizing she only wants her baby brother safe. It has a great female protagonist, is a pretty surreal, a good set of songs, and muppets. Can't go wrong with muppets.
Spirited away is very good, too. A girl goes into the other side, ending up in a bath house (brothel, but not overtly said, even if that's what it is) and loses her name and her parents. She must save her parents, and get her name back. She ends up doing that and saving a boy you only know as Haku.
On that line, Howl's Moving Castle. It is based on a book I loved in middle school enough to actually write a book report on. Sophie is a hat maker, and is so VERY plain. She is cursed by a witch into an old woman, so she goes out to figure out how to return herself to normal. She ends up becoming the cleaning lady for Howl, the 'nasty' wizard. She learns a valuable lesson about loving herself, and saves howl. Turns out? She's the one who had powers all along. It is such a wonderful movie, anyone would love it.
... I can suggest more, if you want :x

For Howl's moving castle, you can read the book. It's the same title, just a book. But it is also kinda confusing in the book, so there's that. My favorite part in the book is where Sophie has to put on jeans and must ride in a car :3
She HATED it.
But I do have other movies I would tell anyone to watch. Like, not even nostalgia glasses rec.
Okay, one or two with nonstalgia glasses on BD
I watched one of those with a boyfriend, and he was all, "I don't get why you like this. What."
... That MAY have been because he's a boy, though :/
I dunno.

Haven't watched any of those Is that surprising?
Ant - I'd say it was more like.. history, rather than future. It reminded me of history of Noah. How he built a ship and saved one of a kind and there came the great flood destroying the world, starting all over from scratch.

Oh, do watch Labyrinth, Queen. It is something I hold dear tomy heart.
Have you seen The Last Unicorn? It is about, well, the last unicorn. She has hunters wander into her forest, and yell at her to stay, since she is the last one. She's all, "NO WAY. I AM NOT" and goes off to find her fellow unicorns. She is told by a butterfly how to find them, but butterflies are flighty, they do not stay focused and only speak in things they have heard. When she thanks the butterfly, it gains control of itself only for a moment to warn her not to go.
She goes anyway, and finds a useless magician, and a woman who once wanted to see a unicorn, but gave up long ago for now she is too old, too used, too... too Molly Grue. Oh, Molly. But the unicorn cares not, and loves her even though she is middle aged, no longer a pretty and thin young woman.
She finds where the unicorns are, and...
Well, how about you watch?
I love it so. I got Peter Beagle to sign my copy of the book. He is such a nice man, with a lovely reading voice.

lol Why did she hate the car ride?
Though I guess someone from her background may not be used to riding in cars or something...?
I have a lot of movies I like, I just can't think or any right now.

Ant, she hated the car ride, since she grew up in a place where the fastest thing was a horse. She also hated how it vibrated.
I dunno what people talk about with cars and vibration, though. People always describe a person who never rode in a car as 'hating the vibration'
What vibration?

Yeah, first-timers riding a horse will find their ass in pain after riding a horse for a while. I want to ride a horse too though...the few times I did were no fun at all because they were led around by others while I want to be able to gallop freely.
