Same here! There's this person leading the horse while all I do is just sit. Not fun
That being said, I don't want to be clutching to my life if the horse starts gallopping or getting mad and me hanging on its tail and getting kicked by it's legs..

Yeah, he was paralyzed as a result. D:
Need to be careful when riding a horse, especially if it's not a horse you're familiar with.

Oh, good to hear you're doing better! D: Hope the sickness wasn't too bad!
Stomach's still a little tender when it comes to eating fried stuff, so I probably need to lay off on that for a bit longer. @ @;;

My sickness isn't so bad, which I'm grateful about. I do get nosebleeds at least once a day but I think this is because my body still isn't used to the heat in this place. I have to say, I'd rather get nosebleeds than the flu. At least I'd still be able to move around and get things done with a nosebleed.
Aww, I bet your missing eating fried food by now? -noms on a piece of fried drumstick in front of Ant- I hope your stomach will finally be back to its robust, healthy self as soon as possible!
-throws another ball of yarn at Ant, wondering how many balls of yarn he can juggle at the same time before he messes up- xD

Yep! My nose is a bit tender because of it xD
I've been living here less than a month. Hopefully this'll be gone a month or two, it is a bit annoying to get nosebleeds.
I don't really miss fried food that much... except fried chicken, that is. Come to think of it, it's been awhile since I've had fried chicken.
Why not just eat a couple of french fries when someone you know is eating them, that way you might be able to gauge if your tummy is okay with it or if it gets a bit uncomfortable just after eating a couple of them. :3

Nosebleeds sound nasty. D: I've never gotten one before, but it's a little scary to watch someone doing something normally and then all of a sudden blood is dripping out of their nose. ^^;
Fried chicken is the best of fried foods. * -*
A few french fries are okay, but I don't know about eating a pack of them. D:

People sliding off of horses seems a bit odd... don't they make a special glue or something? Oh yeah, that's right... they make glue out of horses...
I'm a mule myself, so I admit I don't know much about horses.
*digs around and finds her joddies and riding helmet*
It's important to wear a helmet I think, you never know when the other horses' riders will start throwing things...

Oh yeah, you didn't know that?
I don't think it's quite as popular a source as it used to be, but the horse used to be quite the thing in the adhesives market.
The "knacker" or "horse recycler" would come and buy old and not-as-useful horses, and put them down, and sell the meat, and render the rest into glue and such.
Boiled hides, bones and hooves from cows are even used. It's why Elmer's glue had a bull on it, from what I can tell. By-product of the dairy industry, with Borden and their milk cow Elsie as the friendly half.
Gross, but it's true.

Oh wow, hadn't known that.
I guess glue had to come from somewhere...I just thought they made it out of tree sap or something.

It depends on the glue, really, some actually is made out of plant sap.
The common, white "school" glue, though, I know was made out of horse and cow leavings back in the day. I'm not sure what they use now.
I'm not sure what that "mucilage" stuff (amber-colored glue, sort of syrupy) is made of, but it might be animal products.

Well we do use a lot of animal corpse products so I suppose animal-glue isn't that surprising...
