It's better to find a use for it than let it stink the place up, I guess.

I just think they should let them die of old age, first. I don't like people killing animals just to make things out of them for money... If it's food, that's different, but don't just kill them to make a belt and a pair of shoes and some glue for sticking bits of paper together, you know?

I think that if you're going to kill something, you should fully use everything you can from the body and not waste things.

My phone is an Amazing A4C phone, not really a famous brand or anything so I doubt anyone's ever heard of it. And I heard that iPhone 6 isn't due until next year?

Honour every part of them, I agree.

Like the Minnesota Shrike, if you kill someone, at least have the courtesy to use their hair as pillow-stuffing. XD

Hannibal reference, television show based on characters from Thomas Harris' novels.

You know, Silence of the Lambs? Cannibalistic serial killers, all that lot?

Hey, if you're going to eat someone, at least use the rest of them for something nice, right? They'd want it that way.

lol Yeah, I remember this serial killer would use the skin of his victims to make things like lamp shades and etc. And back in the old days there were books with human skin covers too.

I know of three that currently exist.

One is a book of poetry. Bound in human skin, I think that's quite poetic in its own right.

Interesting. Is it in the possession of a private collector?

I've heard of the head of a child, whose skin is to this day soft and kept in the museum of France or somewhere, preserved by the Egyptians to depict Mira or something and that they don't yet know how it's preserved, or what is added. Like a baby who is asleep, just that it's been that day for a hundred years.

I don't remember, but I think it's a volume of love poems. I don't know who owns it. I could Google it, but I'm lazy right now...

Aw, heck with it... *Googles*

Understandable it would probably just look like any other old book, unless you know it's human skin.. But then again I think it would be all wrinkly and dried on the surface. Would there be any smell?

Tanned and all, so it's leather.

lol It's just leather, like any other animal's...unless I know that the person was diseased back then. I'd wash my hands/not touch it then.
