I think he impaled himself on an icicle? Something like that...

I just love the way he looks down at himself and casually remarks, "Oh look at that, I've been impaled~"

It is rather casual.
If I ever get seriously hurt, I really, really hope I'm within my wits enough to say something like that so calmly. Just to screw with everyone around me.

That's how I usually do it. I'd be bleeding from wherever I got hurt at, and just casually remark on it...like the time I was at the hospital getting my knee stitched up, and the doctor was injecting anesthetic into the wound...the needle went into one of the holes (I got two from hitting it against the sharp corner of a wall), he pushed the syringe, and the fluid came out from the other hole. I went, "Oh, the two holes are interconnected!" in a Luna Lovegood-ish way. Got a funny look from the doctor with that.

Oh, that's pretty great.
closest I got to that was when I split my nose open on a pole. I had to hold an icy pole to it while we travlled to the doctors, then I was really upset that he threw it out. I was careful to keep the blood off it and everything. I really wanted to eat it.

xD!! Haha, that's pretty awesome too, I'd get into a car accident and be all dismayed that I spilled my drink in the crash or something despite having flown over my scooter on impact, etc. xD

Oh! I need to do that next time I crash my kart.
My dad did that, actually. He rolled his kart over, so when he stood up and made it the right way again, he turned to me and said "I think I bent a steering arm. Then he got back in and drove it around for a few more laps.

They do.
It's terrible that they happen in the first place, but if you see it as an opportunity to do that, it's not really a bad thing at all.

Fools. Being horrificaly in pain isn't a bad thing. It has gifted you with a great opportunity to make fun of your own misfortune.
And if it makes you laugh, all the better.

My thumb is still crooked from when I broke it months ago.
I never even whimpered.
Cut my heel on glass last night, just tended it and didn't cry at all.
See someone else in pain? I'd cry so hard they might die before I could get them any help.

I work in X-ray, so everyone who has broken bones comes and gets an x-ray. So I see all the awesome accidents. From people kicking a tree to numb their nerve endings (MMA fighter) to the kids who are playing a sport and catch themselves with their arms out and have one part of their arm broken.
What's really annoying, is when people are crying like a baby, and saying they can't move their arm or leg at all cause they know it's "broken" and there is not a serious break. Yes, it's probably muscle (or a very tiny fracture that I can't see on my crap moniters), I still have a little sympathy for them, but not as much after that first picture xD

@Sleepy: Omg. Yeah, sounds like me too, though perhaps not to the extent of requiring stitches.
@Vera: That's me too. I could be bleeding all over the place and not mind (too much, unless it was large amounts of blood in which case I'd worry that I'd die from blood loss), but see a papercut on my dad's thumb? Goosebumps all over my skin.

I ran into a bridge on a go-kart track, first time I had my face bleed so much before. I didn't get stitches, but I did have a scar between my eyes for like 3 years. It's almost gone now xD
