Ew cucumbers They're not my favorite thing to have to eat.

Our class is ordering McDonald's for our lunch today, to the dismay of my waistline.

I originally went for the Big Mac, but decided I probably shouldn't eat that much and changed it to the double cheese burger. I can't wait, I'm actually staving now and am regretting having changed my order.

It was a wonderful bath, that somehow by a miracle, wasn't interrupted!

Oh gosh, I keep meaning to update that - her birthday was back in September. I'm so behind on updating that! Oops! There we go - I updated it! :)

Norah is the one with the upcoming birthday on December 9th. She'll be 6!

Having a bath interrupted sucks, glad it didn't happen to you!

Ooh, happy super belated birthday to her and a happy future birthday to Norah! Kids grow up so fast.

Rice burgers are great! Though occasionally they can fall apart because of the whole individual rice part.

Yeah, the stuff in the middle's meat, though you can put just about anything between the rice buns. Mos Burger has a few different varieties from what I remember of their menu.

They really do suck -- my baths usually end up being interrupted so managing one uninterrupted one was wonderful!

They really do grow up so fast! They need to stop growing up so fast!!

yeah they are pretty useless.
The ones that aren't are the more expensive ones that are around $40.
but so worth it. I want those ones so bad lol.

The wooden ones i think are kinda to help break down the body into simple shapes
as simplifying the body helps you draw it better.

You should definitely try it if you can find one! The good ones make the rice really tasty.

Why are your baths often interrupted?

Though it's funny how we think they grow up too fast but as kids they still feel like they're growing up too slow.

I think I might have spent around $30 for mine. By now the wood have cracked and the metal have rusted. I'd throw it away but it did cost around $30 that I never used...

Oh, I guess it does have its uses then Drawing fullbody chibis are the extent of my skills, I could never draw an actual fullbody. Those are too hard for me.

the one i want isn't wooden though
It's almost like an action figure. but not. but you can move them
and they come with stands. and there are different body types of them.

I usually draw anatomy without breaking it down which isn't good.
Breaking the body into shapes such as cylinders, rectangles, etc is super useful.
So that is probably the purpose of the wooden ones. Not so much to bend them but to
just help you break it down into geometry shapes.

@Bats: Oh cool! That sounds a lot better than the wooden type. I suck at using the geometry shapes method when drawing so I guess that's why I never used it like that.

@Ice: Hey Ice! No holiday here unfortunately. Just another average day for me. Kinda annoyed with the glitch that happened to my gold count and hoping it'll get fixed soon. You?

Mostly due to me spacing and forgetting to lock the door and the kids wanting me for whatever reason they feel is necessary to come in to ask or tell me. I've gotten used to it actually. haha!

Right?? And then you grow up and you're like "Oh! It's not really the rainbows and unicorns that I thought it was gonna be."

Doing pretty good - just getting things together (food and outfits for the kids - with spares packed in my diaper bag of a purse) to head over to my in-laws house this afternoon. :)

How about yourself? :)

Yeah, so I am excited to buy that and my sticker printer machine.
Yeah, it's better to break down into shapes. you also just have to recognize shapes when you see the human body.
I honestly just look at how other artists break down the body into what shapes to give me an idea.

lol Kind of reminds me of my mom just randomly barging into the bathroom to tell me something and I'm like godsdamn it mom I'm nekkid in here! Now I lock the door whenever she's here so it doesn't happen again.

UGH so true You think you're finally able to do whatever you want but you just find out that nope, you're just as restricted as ever, just in different ways. Also the godsdamned bills and responsibilities and having to work and just about all aspects of adulthood.

Ooh, a sticker printer machine sounds fun! They make customized stickers for you?

I tried mimicking the shapes that other artists use for their drawings but it just didn't work out for me. They all turn out super stiff or the proportions are all wrong. I guess I need to practice more.

@Antagonist
well you design the stickers and you choose the paper and such and you put it through the printer
and it makes your design into stickers.
the machine is called cricut.
It can do other stuff i think but i want it for the ability to make stickers.

Well it does take practice. Stiffness though is most likely not enough gesture drawing.
you just have to figure out what works for you.

That's pretty cool! I'd love to make stickers out of all the lovely pictures I've seen around and then be able to stick them wherever I want.

Gesture drawing? Mine are usually stuck in the same poses, I've been meaning to buy a few of those drawing guide books to be able to make them flow better and not look like mannequins but haven't gotten around to doing so yet.

im planning to make a couple pieces i've drawn into stickers.

yes gesture drawing. Basically what I do is I use a stock image site and it has a timer[you can set it to whichever time limit you'd like] but you draw the anatomy of the stock image within the time limit. You don't really need to detail it too much
which is where the shapes come in. It's pretty hard to do as I am still learning and some of my poses feel stiff.
I want them to be more dynamic so i also need to work on my gesture drawing.
tbh i am just gonna draw the torso like a bean shape. That way i am at least getting use to drawing shapes.
