Most likely the best man or maid of honor is someone close.
even a best friend. and sometimes the clothing can be exactly the same except for a tiny detail
like best man's tie is a different color or something.

I've never been to a super fancy wedding before.
and only been to weddings that were kinda small.

I've been to large weddings before but maybe it's the different culture or something, but maids of honor and best men don't really seem to be a thing here? I've never heard about them being discussed.

It might just differ from place to place.
here it's a tradition as far as i know.

Yeah, from the shows I've watched on weddings they all seem to be a thing, which is why I was confused by them because we don't seem to have them here.

I also think it depends on how much your budget is
as well as what traditions you are marrying into.

Big fancy weddings are honestly very expensive to have and most of the weddings I have been to
were not fancy or big.
the last one i went to was pretty awesome. my male cousin rented this beautiful venue
and had food from noodles and company set up and it was a big enough for both families.
but not super big.

The ones I went to usually has around at least twenty tables of ten ~ twelve, and the food and drinks are provided by the hotel/restaurant. The drinks are usually limited to two to three types though. It's sort of a set thing here, almost all weddings are done like that.

Yeah, I haven't been to any small weddings before. :P

People generally just eat and eat and eat while the brides and groom do their thing (walking in, making speeches, walking over to the tables to drink a toast, etc), and then after all the food's been served and the bride has finished changing dresses everyone leaves. XD;;

I went to a wedding once as a kid where the reception was in a school library/gym (ive actually been to a few where its in a school gym ) but the buffet table was in part of the library and for some reason someone thought it was a good idea to have LIT candles on it, and one girl was holding a napkin under her plate and it caught fire and some guys tried to stomp it out and burned a hole in the carpet xD
Oh and they decided to have bubbles for people to blow and this kid spilled them all over her dress (herself not the bride).
Ah weddings xD

I honestly prefer small weddings.
I hate being center of attention for anything.
//whyagainamianartist

All of my family just does and has done smaller weddings.
some have been outside, and some have been in sorta small church buildings.
I just like how smaller weddings are super quant and just...kinda cozy feeling.
the last wedding had to be my favorite. i wore this amazing dress.
i wonder if my cousin has a picture of it cause the bride's grandmother took a picture of me
but i never saw what it looked like and i am pretty good friends with my cousin's wife.

That...sounded like a mess I'm glad they didn't set the whole place on fire!

I don't think I've been to any of my related family's weddings, if they've had any; it's all friends' weddings for me and they follow the whole modus operandi I mentioned above.

Oh. D: I don't think the two are too different from each other, since it's a wedding after all.

Their not really different.
it just depends on what their budget is and what the want to go with for the wedding.

I guess customized weddings are rarer here, or maybe I just haven't seen enough weddings...just about all the weddings I've been to or seen on television here are just banquets where people eat at tables like what I've mentioned before. Nothing about smaller ones where it's just the family with no catering and such.

How do?

I'd probably do it shop by shop...or maybe by type...like accessories with accessories, shirts with shirts, etc...

I got through about half the shops doing shop by shop, but I was trying to do them all in spoilers in one post and that's not gonna work xD so that's what I gotta figure out. But I reserved a bunch of posts so maybe I'll just put a few in each post xD
