"Hey," Primrose said. "I didn't wake you or anything, did I?"

"No, I just got home. Had the closing shift, remember?" Lilac stretched a bit. "What's up? Apart from you being out of the water."

"We were given the okay to leave for the night," Primrose replied. "I was wondering if you would be willing to give us a ride to my place?"

"Uh, yeah, sure." Lilac sounded surprised. "Just give me a few minutes to get back there. Really, you're allowed to leave for the night?"

"Yeah, it's kind of a test," Primrose replied. "They want to see if we'll come back in the morning."

"Huh. Okay." Lilac snorted. "I'll be there in ten minutes. You need any clothes?"

"Oh gods please," Primrose replied. "At least a skirt. I don't know what to give Allyn, though."

"I've got some of my brother's old things here. I'll bring some of that over." Lilac grinned. "You owe me for this."

"Yes," Primrose agreed, "yes I do. See you in a few."

Lilac hung up and went to go get the requisite clothes before she drove over to the aquarium again to rescue Primrose and Allyn.

Prim padded around the aquarium a bit, paying a quick visit to the whales and dolphins before heading towards the exit. She was more than ready to go to her place for the night.

Allyn followed her quietly, watching as Lilac approached them.

"Ready to go?" Lilac asked, holding out the bundle of clothes.

Primrose nodded, taking the bundle.

"Thanks," she said. "Yeah, just give us a minute." Pulling out her own things, she handed the rest to Allyn. "Get dressed," she said to him. "Then we can leave."

Allyn nodded and pulled the clothes on, wiggling a bit to get comfortable. The clothes were a bit too big but they stayed on, at least.

Lilac waited until they were both ready to go and then led the way out to her car. Mindful of how startled Allyn would likely be, she gave them both time to get settled in before she started driving, slower than normal. Fortunately it was late enough that traffic wasn't an issue.

Primrose settled into her seat, watching the 'landscape' go by.

"How has everything been for the last few days?" she asked her friend.

"Fine. Kind of boring." Lilac shrugged. "But normal. How about you? Glad to be out again?"

"You have no idea," Primrose said. "That tank is nowhere near big enough. The whale tank might not be big enough."

"You should jump over in there one day," Lilac said with a grin as she turned down the street to Primrose's house. "Just go say hi and go swimming."

"I've thought about it," Primrose admitted. "I've even thought of pitching that to the director, as a way to get out of the tank for a while. Let us look after the bigger animals for a while."

"I'm sure it would work well. The whales would love you." Lilac grinned.

"I'm sure," Primrose replied. She grinned. "Could you imagine the dolphin show if I was there? It would sell out in a hot second."

"No kidding." Lilac laughed quietly. "Maybe we should suggest that to the director." She pulled into the driveway.

"I might," Primrose said. She grinned at her friend. "Thanks for the ride. I've got my car, now that we're here, so I can get us there tomorrow morning."

"Good. I've got opening shift tomorrow, so I'll see you both in the morning." Lilac smiled a bit. "Let me know if you need anything else."

"I will," Primrose replied. She got out of the car and waited for Allyn.
