I think that Fredrick the Great of Germany was a relative somewhere down the line.
I read somewhere that he was a nasty fellow...

Road with Jessie James, llonka? And you're part Native American! How neat! What tribe?

I love family histories! Even if they're not always happy, it's fascinating. On my father's side, we discovered sadly, exactly where his cousin's father's family died during the Holocaust in Austria. We found their names on a list of the people dead during this big massacre. It was a lot of closure for her since her father talked about his siblings often.

most interesting things I know about my family history is that my grandmother married her first husband's younger brother (my grandpa) after the first husband died in a mill accident or something. And there's a town in Scotland, a little fishing village, with our last name which is not common.

that's quite sad, Woody.

Oh, a town with your name? That's awesome. The mill accident sucks.
And yah. It's a downer. But it's really interesting. With all the information we found, you can build a very vivid picture of it all.

SO what's up? How was your weekend?

Hey cator! Gogol. That sounds familiar. And not just because of Gogol Bordello.

I'm chilling out house sitting/nannying. About to tell the kid to take a hike and get to bed.

Are you a full-time nanny? As in, do you live there?

I'm not full time nor am I usually live in. I turned down a live in position I was offered this year just because the parents sounded SO high maintenance. They had gone through so many nannies with little turn over time.

I'm staying this week since their parents are on vacation in the Caribbean.

That's me! As I am currently cuddling with their dog. Such a cutie!

Yah. I'm super jealous of their vacation. I'd be awesome if they could enjoy one for a little longer, cause they both need a break and time together. The husband is ALWAYS traveling for work. I mean, always. I've talked to him a dozen times and I worked with them all last year.

And I love yours Jean! I agree Kat, we're opposites. And even though hers has an outer space feel, it still feels like a Goddess motif. Maybe one of Vulcan/ Hephaestus's workers.
