It was a good chance to taste some different kinds of foods.

Hubby says he's going to start cooking asparagus now.

I'd like it that way.

Cooked in garlic butter would be good too.

We're garlic fiends.

I like garlic on most things.
I don't think it's possible to over-garlic anything.

You guys are chatting it up fast!

I love kale, but only certain ways. Not a fan of it raw. It's too...iron-y. I just made a soup with it. Sausage, potato, and kale. So good. Nice and spicy.

I've heard that it's best to cook Kale.

The color is so pretty when you cook it down...

Mmmm garlic.

Yes! Kale cooks down a lot, but it gets really green and still holds it's shape unlike spinach. Toss it in hot soup last minute, and it's fantastic. That's what I do with this soup. It's kinda like that soup at Olive Garden...but better cause it's homemade.

Yup. I only like spinach raw or in something awesome like indian food...otherwise it's kinda bland.

Kale! It's....kale. A leafy green veggie. Kale - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It's really high in vitamins, nice in soups and baked till it turns into a crispy chip

It really is. Especially when you bake it. It gets crispy like a potato chip or something. Add a bit o' olive oil, salt, other seasonings. Mmmm It's great with parm cheese.

Aw, thanks!

So good. I feel like they sell it in stores in bags, but that must be fried. And who knows what else they put in it. All this is: kale, olive oil, sea salt, whatever other spice, parm cheese, etc, then shake them out on a baking sheet, and cook for 6 to 7 minutes at 350. You've gotta be careful, they can burn easy if you don't keep your eye on them.

I think first I'll look for some Kale chips in the store to see if we like it or not.
