"my cook made lasagna, she shouldn't have, but she did. It was the worst tasting shit I've ever had the misfortune to put in my mouth." He says he stands to get himself a second slice. He hadn't eaten all day.

" Oh." Jenna said and saw it was getting dark. She hoped Kirin didn't have too far to travel. She hated walking the streets at night, with the robbers and criminals that seemed to be there always.

"I was... I ah..." He wasn't sure how to bring up what he wanted to ask. He took a deep breath. "I know we just met and all, but I was wondering, if it were alright with you, if I could like crash on your couch."

" No problem at all. " Jenna said with a smile. " I can make you breakfast in the morning or we can have lasagna for breakfast. " She said with a giggle. She loved eating dinner leftovers for breakfast.

"Thank you so much, wasn't looking forward to sleeping in the park. And either is fine for breakfast." He says with a smile.

" The Park isn't the safest not even during the day. "Jenna said and got things taken care of for the night.

When they are done with dinner Kirin helped her clean up. "I agree, but I didn't have anywhere else to go." He said with a sad smile.

Jenna felt sad. " I know we just met today, but you can stay with me. I can clean up my spare bedroom and we can plan for anything that we decide to do in the future. " Jenna offered.

"I am going to do some research into this school." He says as they finish cleaning up. "Thank you for letting me stay with you. I really appreciate it."

" You're welcome. You can use my computer if you like. I'll be in the greenhouse watering my plants. " Jenna said.

"Thank you." He says smiling. He finds the computer and starts doing research. He takes notes as he does so chewing on the end of the pen while he types.

Jenna watered her plants using her powers at a controlled scale. She didn't want to attract any unwanted attention as she had her back facing the windows. She knew that no one went down the alley next this time of night.

Kirin had finished his research and watches Jenna silently. He is amazed at her powers and can't help but smile. He knew, deep down, that he was falling madly in love with her. He hoped they could get out of there and to the school without any big issues.

Jenna finished up her watering and turned around, feeling surprised." What did you think?" She asked, since he was the first person she had shown her powers to.

"That's pretty amazing." He says with a grin. "Well when we decide to head to this school I have a route all planned out." He is leaning back against the door frame.

" You do? Can I see?" Jenna asked. She knew she would need to see this house and take only a few things when they went to this school. She knew her parents would disapprove of it and would disown her for being different. She dreaded that day very much.

Kirin shows her the map he had printed out. "This it. This is the shortest route." He leans close to her pointing out the route.

" It's still a long journey though. When do we want to head there? " Jenna asked.

"Whenever you are willing. I have nothing tying me here." He said with a small sad smile. He hated feeling this empty, this down heartened. But this whole situation just sucked horribly. Though he is glad he isn't going to be facing it alone.

" How about in a few weeks?" It will give me a chance to sell this place and only take what I really want. " Jenna suggested. She knew the more money they had the better.

Kirin would rather leave right away, but what she says made sense. He was just worried about being caught. "Alright, that makes sense." He said with a smile.

Jenna was happy he understood. " We should be getting to bed soon. It's getting late. " She said looking at the clock.

"thank, for everything." He says kissing her cheek. He heads to the couch. He says a silent prayer that they won't be found out before they can leave.

Jenna smiled as she went up the stairs to her bedroom. Today had been one of the best in her life and felt she was in love with Kirin. She knew this would a be a long journey for both of them and hope they didn't get caught before they left for the school.

It's had been five day since Kirin had met Jenna. The house was in the process of selling. Kirin paced the living room. He was nervous. Things had been going to good, and he was scared about what might happen. He let out a sigh.
