Kirin got into bed on the right side making sure his wings left room for her. He smiled at her. "Hope I left you enough room." He said.

" I have plenty of room. Sleep well. " Jenna said and closed her eyes. She knew they had to start early and that in a day or two they could be at the school.

Kirin just watched the two of them sleep. He can't believe this is his family. He soon drifted off to sleep.

Kasandra woke in the middle of the night screaming. She had had a nightmare.

Jenna woke up and heard Kassie and woke up Kirin. She had a feeling that Kassie needed the both of them.

Kirin woke going over and gathering Kasandra into his arms. Kasandra sobs clinging to him her whole body shaking. She soon stops crying but she does continue to whimper.

Jenna hoped that Kassie would tell them about the nightmare. Jenna remembered the ones she had before meeting Kirin and knew they would both help Kassie face what she feared.

Kasandra had soon quieted but she doesn't let go of Kirin.

Kirin just held her close. He knew she would talk when she was ready. He wouldn't push her to talk though.

Jenna woke up the next morning and knew that they soon would be on the road. She was looking forward to finally arriving at the school since she had a feeling they wouldn't be safe much longer.

Kirin was asleep, Kasandra was still in his arms. Her face was tear stained from the night before and she clung to Kirin.

Jenna quietly got up from the bed and bought some doughnuts from the small bakery that was adjacent to the motel. She was careful to pay only in cash and hurried back to the motel room. She had also bought a newspaper that had a story on a house that had been raided since there had been mutants hiding there. Jenna knew they had to move fast.

Kirin was up and dressed when Jenna returned. Kasandra is dressed as well and the two of them have all of the stuff packed. Kirin smiled at Jenna when she came in. "Morning love."
