"Up to you," Jasmine replied. "You're the one driving, after all." She grinned a bit.

Sabriel snorted. "It's close enough we could just walk," she pointed out. "But gelato does sound good for dessert. Let's go take a look."

Jasmine grinned a bit as she went with Sabriel.

"Ahh the irony," she said. "Going for gelato after having Italian for dinner."

"That's not ironic, that's just delicious," Sabriel said with a grin.

Jasmine laughed a bit and followed her friend.

Sabriel got in line for gelato, perusing all the flavors. Everything looked delicious and handmade.

Jared waited off to the side while Sabriel was in line. He didn't want anything, and it was easier to keep an eye on her this way.

Jensen waited with him, leaning back against the wall next to him and keeping an eye on Jasmine.

"So, was it just me or did you look a little jealous earlier?" he asked quietly.

"I have no idea what you mean," Jared replied as he glanced around the little shop.

"Alright, maybe jealous is the wrong word. Maybe upset is a better word." Jensen shrugged.

"He wasn't right for her," Jared replied. He glanced at his counterpart. "I could ask you the same, though."

"The guy struck himself out," Jensen said with a shrug, although he had been a tad bit upset. It was obvious to him that the guy wasn't right, but fortunately he'd just about proven that of himself.

"But you still weren't comfortable with him paying attention to Jasmine," Jared pointed out.

"Yeah, well, who knows what kind of person he is?" Jensen asked. It was kind of a weak excuse at best but he was clinging to it.

"Perhaps," Jared allowed. Whatever let Jensen feel better, he supposed. He wasn't going to argue the point.

Jensen grinned when the girls came back over with their treats. "So, what did you get?" he asked, falling into step next to Jasmine.

"Something chocolate and coffee," Jasmine replied as she dug into the gelato and picked out a few chips of dark chocolate. She ate those first.

"Did you find anything you like?" Jared asked Sabriel.

Jensen snorted. "Sounds like you," he said with a grin, although he made note of what she'd picked and if she liked it. Hey, never know when the information might come in handy.

"Sea salt caramel," Sabriel said with a grin.

Jasmine rolled her eyes a bit and her spoon flashed out, leaving a smudge of gelato on his nose.

Jared nodded.

"Excellent choice," he said, grinning a bit.

Jensen blinked, startled, before he grinned slowly and then laughed. "Hey, you did learn from me after all!"

Sabriel nodded with a grin. "I certainly thought so. Would you like some?" She held out her spoon.

Jasmine grinned.

"I've only had you around my entire life," she teased, grinning. "I was bound to learn something."

Jared nodded and accepted the spoon, taking a sample of the gelato.

"Very good," he commented, handing the spoon back.

Jensen snickered and cleaned off his nose before dipping a finger into the gelato to taste.

"Mm. Good stuff."

"I think I have a new favorite," Sabriel agreed, taking another bit of gelato. Because that stuff was good.

"Made with real espresso," Jasmine said, nodding. "Really good stuff."

"I'm not surprised," Jared said. "We'll have to come here more often."

Jensen grinned. "Well then, we'll just have to come back sometime and try a few other flavors."

"Yes indeed." Sabriel grinned, taking her time walking to the car. It was a nice night out, after all.

"All of them," Jasmine agreed, nodding.

Jared fell in step next to her quietly, just enjoying the evening.
