Moria had a feeling things had gotten much worse and that they had little time to stop Kaylee while she was possesed. " Are you alright Dircetor Fury?" Moria asked seeing he and his men were on the ground. She had a feeling for some reason that they weren't dead and knew they wouldn't be happy until Kaylee was captured.

Steve knew things had gone from bad to worse and had a feeling this battle wouldn't be so easy. " We have to stop what ever is controlling Kaylee and make sure no one else dies. " Steve said hoping SHIELD was on thier side this time.

(haha im posting alot out of boredome, don't get me wrong I love the story, but, I have a huge headache from boredom)

Tony heard Jarvis in his suit speaking to him "I don't think she was possessed this time. I think that was her showing her anger" if she was possessed she would have killed them by now and Fury was already up and cursing slightly under his breath as he ordered his team to get up and go after her. As soon as Fury left, Tony's helmet slid back to reveal his handsome face. "We need to get to Kaylee before they do and stop whatever is happening. Moria seems to be able to be close without being killed. Kaylee believes you're worthy to live. So we could-" Hulk glared at Tony to shut him up, they were not going to use Moria as bait or even as a way to talk to the girl.

" Please let me help. I have a feeling that Kaylee will listen to me. " Moria said feeling that she needed to help out somehow. If it wasn't for Kaylee , she would have died today. Moria knew it was risky for her to do this but knew there was little choice. " I need to help Kaylee and don't want to see her dead. " She thought.

"Hulk. I promise that Moria will stay safe. We should all go and make sure Moria stays safe and that Kaylee does too. " Steve said getting into leader mode again. He liked Kaylee and had promised her he would keep her safe. He just hoped that they could come out of this alive.

Hulk grunted, but, nodded. He would listen to Captain America, because he never gave him an order, just always an option or two to do whatever he wanted. Except for that one time he said 'Hulk, smash' Hulk loved that memory because he wasn't confined to doing things he didn't care about. Taking orders wasn't really his sort of idea within life at all and being Hulk along with Banner meant they agreed to it.

Tony's metal helmet fixed itself back into place as he flew out going after Kaylee. Hulk picked up Moria running out of the room after Tony; the bigger hulk was, the less he would have to run, and the less energy to spend while doing so. Once there Tony was already talking to Kaylee trying to calm her down, but, when he made a joke about something...well it set Kaylee off as she blasted him to the ground. People fled out of the area or into buildings to hide. Hulk put Moria down "Safe" is all he said and dashed out after Kaylee catching her off guard and slamming her to the ground as well.

Moria cringed when she saw Kaylee thrown to the ground but had a feeling the other woman was alright. She wanted to be able to be of some use while she was here but would stay here to be safe." Kaylee, please let me talk to you." Moria called out, worrying about the other woman.

Steve was helping people get to safety and kept a close eye on Tony and Hulk. He cringed when Kaylee was slammed to the ground but had a feeling she would be alright.Now all they needed to do was try and get her to calm down a bit so this all could be sorted out. Steve hoped that Fury would handle this situtaion better than he had earlier and let the Avengers handle this.

Kaylee got back up after taking a moment to force Hulk off of her with her powers hearing Moria speak to her "Why, what do you have to offer to gain my attention?" Kaylee asked as the power still controlled her. She actually hurt from the way she was taken over and even though she may not remember it later, she knew what was happening now, though she couldn't do anything about it. She had no reason to fight the power, though if she ever hurt anyone that was a friend to her, she could probably do it.

"Kaylee Amarose, you need to stop what you are doing!" Director Fury's voice called over an intercom from a hovercraft above everyone "Go away" Kaylee glared throwing a burst of energy making the hovercraft fly backwards away from the battle "Sheesh, annoying aren't they, no wonder people hate them" Kaylee didn't react for a moment, she didn't feel any real danger right now, other than the fact she was in a fight "Do explain why I should listen to you?" she added. By the time she said that a dark energy in the air grew closer slowly towards them.

"All I have to offer is my time. All I know is theta something wants to destroy this world and we need to be able to work together to stop it. ". Moria said and hoped this worked. She really wasn't good at convincing people to do things but had gotten better over the years. How else would she get good paying hacking jobs.

Steve wasn't liking the look of the dark cloud and hurried toward Kaylee. " I promise to keep you safe Kaylee. Just stop this and we can talk this out. " He said hoping that Fury would realize what he was doing was upsetting Kaylee. The last this he wanted was to see anyone else hurt and that this impending danger could be stopped.

Kaylee raised a brow "Time, you know to someone like me, that's not the best subject to speak of. Time is boring to me and it seems the one who has given me the power, has done this to more than just this country" Kaylee spoke the truth as it had already hit the other countries in their heartlands.

Tony had gotten back up again as Hulk had transformed back into Banner wearing a new pair of pants that luckily a store had given him for not crashing into it and for being the Hulk. "Kaylee" Banner called out "Look around you, do you really want to hurt these innocent people?" Kaylee looked around as Tony didn't raise his guns though he could if he wanted to and if he had to. Fury was going about this the wrong way and Tony would be determined to stop him in the process.

Kaylee looked around seeing families, people, animals, and children frightened of her. Glancing over to a shop window she noticed her looks had changed 'That's not me is it?' she wondered as her powers over electricity had diminished and then flared up all of a sudden though her expression was unchanged 'I had vowed to become a super hero, just like the Avengers, and never to be controlled, what happened to me?' she thought to herself then to what Moria had said as well as Steve and Banner.

Hulk was her favorite as Captain America wound up being her second favorite and so forth. 'Why am I fighting against them?' she thought once more then that stupid rhyme appeared in her head as she lowered more to the ground 'You are not me, I am not you, you do not control me, only I control myself, so. get. out!' she screamed within her mind expanding her powers so strong that the evil within her was driven away.

Not realizing it as she returned to normal, she heard someone clapping, though it wasn't the humans that surrounded the Avengers during this battle against one another. "Ah good show, I must say" Loki stood there about the time Thor arrived not so happy, he clearly came here to take his brother back, but, right now it seemed he was a bit too late at that. "The only one to have broken through my magic, you may have one this battle, but, the war has yet to begun" Loki stated as the Avengers didn't seem too happy, especially when he disappeared "Wait, wasn't that Loki, the god of mischief and the one that is half frost giant as well as Thor's brother?" Kaylee asked a bit confused thinking 'Wasn't he dead?'

" No , that was Agent Coulson that had been killed but the report the public saw said it was Loki. " Steve said and glad that Thor was here. Now that they knew that it was Loki who was behind all this they needed to figure something out. Steve had a bad feeling that something worse was going to happen now that this battle had ended.


Moria was shocked that it had been Loki who was behind all this and that he had to be the one who sent her that message. "Things are getting stranger the longer I stay with these guys. " She thought to herself and was glad Bruce was back to his normal self.

" We must hurry before Loki finds another way to control the women that were affected by the device. " Thor said. He had been sent by his father to recover the stolen weapon but wondered how Loki had found its location. According to Odin the device had been sealed in a protected realm of its own since it's power over morals and Asguardians was far too great.

(so sorry, I'm sick, I couldn't even celebrate my anniversary yesterday)

Kaylee was confused "I quit keeping up with this storyline" she sighed feeling fine now as Loki stood there, but, she couldn't feel him being a thread to her. Kaylee heard Thor curse about the fact his brother disappeared and he couldn't do anything to keep him from doing that. Kaylee gave Moria a quick hug whispering "Thanks"

"Nice to have you back thunder head" Tony stated using the nickname he gave Thor for his power was over thunder more than anything else. "I see you are alive still, tin man" Thor said his greeting to tony as well. Kaylee spoke up sighing "As sweet as this is, I'm outta here" she was back to her normal self, but, now she just felt weak compared to the others after being caught and controlled by some unknown power. She had flown off a little ways going down to the river and sitting on the edge of the bridge.

Banner stood next to Moria making sure nothing else would just pop up and glad he could still protect her, hopefully in his human state to since Hulk was asleep right now. "She sure throws a punch doesn't she?" he spoke mostly to himself laughing a bit. Banner watched Kaylee leave and Tony didn't bother to stop her "We can't worry about her now, come on, we'll head back to the mansion and pinpoint attacks" Tony said already having Jarvis did that.

" She does. I'm worried about Kaylee. " Moria said. She had seen the fight but didn't want her friend to be a target because of what happened. Moria didn't know why she was feeling this way but knew Loki could use Kaylee again or worse hurt her. She didn't want to lose someone who she felt was becoming a friend.

Steve went back to the mansion with the others and also was concerned about Kaylee. The last thing he wanted to see was her being captured by Loki. Steve had a feeling SHEILD would still be looking for her and hopefully understand that she had been used by their common enemy.

After what happened Kaylee was confused at why the Avengers bothered helping her at all and she was overly exhausted from the use of magic as she worked her way somewhere to sleep. She didn't need a fancy place, any would do, and soon it looked like rain would start since battles created heat and that caused more rain or storms to appear. Kaylee didn't like housings, she didn't like being out in storms either, and she certaintly didn't like asking for help. She was stubborn in that way; laying down under a bridge by the bottom of it near the grass she laid there until she would pass out.

Loki had found a helper along the way, someone who wasn't human, and came from Midgard. The child's name was Mist since his powers involved water; the boy seemed to be about fourteen and looked like Loki had already controlled the child fully. The boy allowed Loki in his nice, big, home to stay and rest as Loki would have the boy help him by attacking others.

Tony went back into his lab with Banner's help to try and locate things, though Banner waited before going in to walk with Moria "You okay?" of course he could tell by her face that she wasn't, that much was known. "Listen, I'm sure Kaylee will be alright, it looked like she fought back against Loki pretty well if she could break out of his control like that" he was trying to comfort her.

" Not really. I hope she will be. I'm also worried about my dad. He would have called by now if everything was alright. I know he can be a jerk to me sometimes but that doesn't mean I wish bad things on him. " Moria said fearing her dad was dead. She hoped that he wasn't and figured he was in New Jersey again with that woman he had been dating of and on for the last year.

Steve was getting worried about Kaylee and watched the rain fall. He had a feeling she didn't like asking for help and understood she would want some alone time after the battle. He had a bad feeling about this rain and went to talk to Thor about this. Steve had a nagging feeling that Loki wouldn't give up this easily.

"I'm sure they'll both be fine, do you want to see Tony's little hideout or would you rather get some rest?" Banner asked Moria liking the fact she cared alot about others, but, didn't think she could get past the Hulk part of him to care about him. Though no one really did do that much for him and Hulk inside him even knew it was impossible. It was hard one when side said it was possible and another said it was impossible. Then Bruce had an idea thanks to Hulk "I have something you should see, come with me" Bruce said taking Moria's hand leading her down the hallway thinking 'If she only forgets for a couple minutes, that's still good' They reached a door that led to a room down farther than the rest of the other rooms. "Close your eyes, trust me" Bruce said waiting for her to do so then opening the door to the room which was filled with amazing things. It was like a garden filled with plants and animals you never saw except hundreds of years ago. "Tony had been working on this for a long time, I'm not sure why" it sort of looked like Wonderland.

Thor stood outside in the rain watching it fall as lighting lit up the sky and thunder shook the earth on which they stood. Thor was wanting to go out and search for his brother, but, what would be the point of doing that if he couldn't find him? He cursed himself silently allowing his brother to escape once again, he couldn't do anything right, but, he wasn't about to give up either.

Moria was wondering what Bruce wanted to show her and was greateful for the distraction. "He has? Can I open them now?" She asked and gave a smile. She just wanted to forget her worries about Kaylee and her dad and get some much needed rest. Moria didn't know what she would do if her dad was gone. The last thing she wanted to do was to move to Dublin and live with her cousins. She liked to visit but she knew New York was her home.


" Interesting to watch isn't it?" Steve asked Thor once he had found him. He sometimes liked to watch the rain and let himself think of his past. He often wondered what his life would have been like if he hadn't been frozen in the Aetic and had gone on that date with Peggy. But he knew she had moved on and Steve knew he himself had to move forward with his life, but it wasn't an easy task.

"Yes, you can open your eyes now, sorry" Bruce apologized forgetting to tell her to open her eyes now. He waited to see her reaction as he listened all around him watching all around her "What do you think?" he asked standing there, still not removing his hand, he had forgotten he was still holding it.

"Yes, beautiful" Thor loved storms as much as he loved his home planet, he knew that the storms here on earth were far more beautiful than back home. "Are you alright?" Thor asked turning to Steve to see why he had come out here, though he knew he wasn't the only one to like storms and being by a storm god helped in case anything would try to strike them down.

" This is amazing." Moria said looking around the room feeling like this was right out of Alice and Wonderland.That book had been one of her favorites as a child and knew none of the movies came close to the sight of this." Thank you for showing me this Bruce." She said and was glad she was able to enjoy these few minutes.


" Just worried about Kaylee. I would hate it if something bad happened to her." Steve said and watched the rain fall down. He wondered where she was and hoped she was safe. " I also have a bad feeling about this rain, but it's probably me just feeling jumpy." He added and hoped he wasn't right about the feeling he had.

"Want to take a walk?" Bruce asked knowing that not only did she or himself like this room, but, even Hulk did too since there wasn't anything in here to make him angry. "We can pretend you are Alice and I am Hatter" he smiled just goofing off though it did fit the two, Alice was smart and brave like Moria, and Bruce was a bit strange (Hulk wise) like Hatter was.

"If you have a bad feeling, shouldn't you follow your instincts?" Thor asked adding "I'm sure she will be fine, she is strong enough to take out the Hulk, I have a feeling she is strong enough to handle this weather" Thor sighed, he needed to find his brother, but, he couldn't locate him. Just where on earth could he be? He had been calling Midgarth by it's 'Earth' term for so long, it became a habit.

" I would like that. ". Moria said with a smile. "That would actually be fun." She said since she had always thought of the similarities she had to Alice at times. Even now Moria felt like she had fallen down a rabbit hole into the world of the Avengers. She really didnt want to think about the events of earlier and would just focus on what was happening now.

" I should follow my instincts. I'm sure she will be too. I just hope I see her again. " Steve said since he had liked her company. He watched the rain fall and was feeling better. He thought about earlier and of a few things in his past, trying to find some comfort in those thoughts.

Bruce held onto her hand as they walked through the large room, venus fly traps that looked like actual flowers which would snap at them, but, Bruce would hold Moria back. The mushrooms were really large, taller than them "Tony had been trying to perfect this" he said as they walked up to a somewhat large table where six empty seats sat as the table was set with food that looked just like from the book and movies. "Now my dear Alice, would you care for some tea?" Bruce made the accent like Hatter to sound more like him as he bowed waiting her hand now that he had let go.

The rain let up a little as it didn't stop as a voice said "Well that's nice of you to say" she smirked having been there the whole time and now soaking wet from all the rain floating there in mid air. "I think I'll go inside" Thor said having already spoken to her, she floated over to the rooftop edge as the rain stopped, and she wished she was the one who controlled the weather. Though that wasn't apart of her abilities.

"I would love some tea dear Hatter. " Moria said in her best British accent but knew it probably sounded more Irish. She knew her cousins teased her for her American accent when she spoke to them in Irish but didn't really care what they thought. She had lived here in New York longer than anywhere else and was happy to be different they were. Moria took Bruce


Steve was glad to see Kaylee again and decided to head in for the night. He hoped that tomorrow would go better than today had and that he could get a chance to get to know Kaylee a little bit. Steve wanted her to feel welcome here but wasn't sure how Tony and Bruce would treat her while she was here. " I'm glad to see you are safe. " Steve said to Kaylee and was happy she was back.

Bruce led her to the table allowing her to sit down and scooting her chair in for her. He might be the Hulk, but, even before the green guy he was still a gentleman. Sitting in a seat next to her so they could talk easier a giant caterpillar went by them with the old fashioned cigarette just as the cartoon showed as he poured her a cup of tea while grabbing some cookies bringing them closer to them both. "Here you are my dear" he smiled.

Kaylee followed him inside the mansion, she didn't know what else to say or do, and certainly didn't want to tell them she she had most control over her body even when killing innocent people. There was a part of her that just wanted to ignore things while something or someone else controlled her body. "Sorry about before" she said adding "Was it fun growing up during your era?" Kaylee asked wondering and knowing it was different than now.

" Thank you so much. " Moria said with a smile. She was goad to have a chance to relax a bit before she for some rest and knew that soon things would change. Moria didn't want to think about anymore battles but was willing to do what she could to help. " Thank you so much Bruce. This has been great. " She said feeling happier than she had felt in a while.

" It's alright. It was fun. Wasn't able to play sports much when I was growing up but there were plants of other things. Times were simpler than they are now , but every era has it's ups and downs. " Steve said. " What about your childhood? What sort of things did you enjoy doing?" He asked.

"You're welcome, I'm glad I could do something to make you happy" Bruce answered bringing up a new topic "I've looked into the whereabouts of your father. He is doing well right now and is staying with a couple people he knows" he wanted to reassure her on that subject since he looked into some background information on everyone after they met.

"Oh I loved walking around at night, it was my favorite thing to do. During the day I tried to take care of things, I was always surrounded by plants, and of course others. Alot of kids kept getting hurt, so I wound up being the nurse even at my age" most of the time she enjoyed the beauty of nature and tending to things that needed to be tended to. "Call me old fashion, but, I love to sit by a window or under a tree and read. The clouds were way too cold for my interest to be held in a book" at least she was being honest.

" I'm glad he's safe. No matter how many times we fight over stupid things I still love my dad. " Moria said and tried to hide a yawn. She was ready to get some rest and knew she would be able to sleep easier now that she knew where her dad was. " Thank you for finding him. " Moria added.

" I think it's wonderful that you like to read by a window or under a tree. " Steve said with a smile. " We should head to bed. Fury wants to debrief everyone now that it is Loki that is behind all this. " Steve said and knew they had to find a way to stop Loki from taking control of anyone else in New York City.
