"How?" Kyra looked at her helplessly. "I don't know how to do that. I don't even know if that's what he wants to talk about!"

"Just relax," Runa said. "Breathe for a moment. It's not as hard as you're imagining it is. Just tell him that you want to discuss it real quick to make sure you're both on the same page about it, that's all."

"And... what page should we be on?" Kyra blinked at her.

"The same one, I would hope," Runa said, grinning. "But really, you just want to make sure you understand each other and what you want from each other right now."

"You say that as if I understand what I want right now," Kyra grumbled.

"Well, think on it for a bit," Runa said. "Try to figure out what it is you want."

Kyra huffed but settled down to think for a little while, trying to puzzle things out in her head.

Runa flopped over on the bed, browsing the internet for a bit. She habitually checked local and national news, and then started to just troll the internet for a while.

Kyra didn't make a move to leave the room. And she wouldn't have, unless she got kicked out. Except that she didn't have a choice when Sam came knocking.

Sam waited outside the door, although he did knock again.

Runa glanced at Kyra.

"I can make myself scarce," she offered.

"No, I need to go change and sleep sometime anyway," Kyra grumbled as she got up and went over to the door. "I'll see you in the morning."

"Alright," Runa said. "Sleep well."

"You too." Kyra opened the door, looked at Sam, sighed, and headed back over to the room she was supposed to be sharing with him.

Sam blinked, but followed her.

"Is everything alright?" he asked when they got back to the room.

"Yeah," Kyra said after a moment, heading back over to her bed. "Everything's fine. Just a bit tired, I guess."

Sam nodded after a minute.

"Alright," he said. "Hey, you have any idea where Dean went? He left a while ago and hasn't been back."

"I think Runa said he went for a walk, or a drive or something." Kyra shrugged. "I wouldn't worry, he has his phone and apparently Castiel went after him."

"Great," Sam said dryly. "Well, hopefully they'll sort things out this time."

"That would be nice." Kyra shook her head a bit. "I haven't heard him on angel network, which is a good sign."

"Maybe they're actually working things out," Sam mused. He snorted. "I've heard miracles do sometimes happen."

"You should know, considering how many times you should have died by now," Kyra replied with a little grin.

"No kidding," Sam snorted. "Though they still don't like me much."

"Angels tend not to like people," Kyra said dryly. "Just be glad you're not Nephil."

"They haven't liked me since the whole Apocalypse thing," Sam said. He stretched a bit. "Guess we're kind of in the same boat, they don't particularly like either of us."

"Yea," Kyra agreed. "Except you've got protection and I'm still fair game or open season." She shivered briefly. "At least things aren't as bad now as they were a few hundred years ago, from what I've been told."
