"I--he--what?" Kyra shook her head. "Run that by me again more slowly. Or I will come up with other objections." Because that was a very interesting tidbit she wanted to be sure she'd heard correctly.

"Sam likes you," Gabriel said frankly. "And has been entertaining the idea of asking if you want to join us, but he wasn't sure how you would react, given how modest you are. So I offered to bring it up, and this seems like a fine time to do so. And, you know, really get to know one another without a third person actively in the mix."

"Oh," Kyra said quietly. "Okay. Now I get it." She was quiet for a few moments, looking at him closely. "Not just for Sam's sake," she said, to clarify.

"Of course not," Gabriel said. "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested."

"Alright then." Kyra leaned forward and kissed him again once quickly.

Gabriel grinned and kissed her back, really kissing her this time. Putting an arm around her waist, he popped them to a more private setting.

Cas, meanwhile, was once again out stargazing for the night, thinking over recent events.

Sam and Dean were both out for the evening, commiserating with each other over a beer at the local bar. Runa, however, had stayed behind, and ended up going outside to stargaze as well.

"Quiet out tonight," she commented softly as she sat down next to him.

"Indeed." Cas didn't look over at her, keeping his gaze focused on the stars. "Very clear tonight."

"Are you still doing alright?" Runa asked, looking at him. "You've been a bit... distant, since before."

That got him to look a her. "I am... coping," he answered slowly. It was true, after all.

"Coping," Runa repeated. "Okay," she was quiet for a moment. "I'm not very good at offering comfort, I only really know a couple of ways. One involves alcohol, the other involves a sturdy bed. But if you feel like either one... I wouldn't necessarily object."

Cas looked at her for a few moments before he looked back at the sky. "Dean is not quite satisfied," he said. "I believe he has grown attached to you, but has not said anything because of me." He hesitated for a few moments, not quite sure how to phrase what he had to say next. "I believe it may be... beneficial were he allowed to be with you again."

"But what about you?" Runa asked cautiously, looking at him. "I mean, I wouldn't complain about it, not at all, but wouldn't it be a little difficult trying to share him while dancing around each other?"

"I would not have suggested the idea if I was not comfortable with it," Cas said, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Alright, then," Runa said. She was quiet for a moment. "Well, what if I suggested that maybe... we make this thing a complete triangle? I mean, you're really kind of attractive, and nobody ever said I wasn't a greedy little cambion, I can keep up with two lovers, and that way we're all sharing each other, which isn't a bad thing, if you think about it..." She trailed off as she realized she was rambling.

"That seems to be an acceptable proposal," Cas agreed. He quirked a faint smile. "I'm sure Dean at least will not object. Far from it, likely."

"I can't imagine him objecting, either," Runa replied. She studied him for a moment. "Have you ever been with a woman before?"

Cas shifted uncomfortably. "No," he said. "Dean tried to push me at one before, but it... did not end well."

Yeah, that didn't surprise her much.

"If you like, I wouldn't be adverse to letting you try again," she offered.

Cas was quiet for a moment, considering. "Perhaps that would be good," he said, and when he looked at her again there was heat in his eyes. "We should get comfortable with each other as well as with the three of us."

"Then why don't we take this inside?" Runa said with a bit of a suggestive grin. "We've probably got a while before anyone comes back, we should make the most of it."

Cas nodded and stood, offering her a hand up. It was a good thing they had hotel rooms.

Runa accepted the hand up, getting to her feet. Yes, it was definitely a good thing they had the hotel room.

It took a few things for everything to really settle in again, at which time everyone was more relaxed and things seemed to be going fine, for once.
