I normally don't but have so much to do and knew with the fireworks going on at all hours last night I wouldn't sleep until around three. I went and made two four cup pots of coffee, added sipping chocolate, peppermint extract, and coconut milk. Instant peppermint mocha.

I've had seven cups this morning. Seven.

That be quite a caffeine high you must be experiencing!

I do drink coffee, and a lot of it. It doesn't quite keep me awake (conversely, any less than 2 cups would make me sleepy), but I drink it mostly for comfort, as peculiar as that might sound. I'm trying to cut back, though, so I alternate coffee with tea every so often.

I downed the last cup. I know I'm wired because I'm a bit jittery but I mostly feel a bit nauseous.

I totally get drinking it for comfort, that's when I usually drink it. A hot cup of coffee is really soothing. I normally drink water, I drink coffee or tea about once every two weeks.

No, it taste odd to me. Love the smell of it though. I could sniff it all day long. I live in Jax, FL and there is a maxwell house plant downtown and it's amazing everytime we go by it. BUT drinking it no. I also remember my mother telling me that it taste just like it smells. Don't know what she was thinking. LOL

I love the smell and grew to love the taste, but.. I don't like the effects of drinking coffee. This morning I had work early so I decided to get a cup of Americano and my bowels were grumbling for the rest of the day. Caffeine addiction and headaches are no joke either.

I love coffee, but I can't drink it black. I always have to have a dab of milk and at least one teaspoon of sugar in it for it to be stomachable. If I've got that then I can drink an 8 cup pot of the stuff on my own. I agree on it being a comfort drink--I hate tea, so coffee is my thing. That or my homemade hot cocoa.

I can't stand normal tasting coffee I can only drink. the flavored kind like a macho chocolate are some other kind. yet I do like the smell of coffee as well form some reason. I only touch coffee once in a while not that often.

I used to be able to drink coffee but ever since my abdominal surgery I can't stand the stuff. It makes my stomach hurt so bad. Same thing with peppers now. I used to love peppers but now can't stand them.

I love iced coffee. For some reason, hot coffee (even in small amounts) gives me a terrible stomachache. Iced coffee wakes me up and doesn't leave me with any tummy troubles afterwards. ^_^

Nope, I don't like like the taste. I always find the starbucks ones look super tasty and good, but I've had a Chai Latte and it was bleck to me. I'm a tea drinker.

It was a latte though. So it was still bitter.

7 cup of coffees in the morning is quite too much... you probably visited the toilet quite a few times I assume...XD

And to answer your question - yes, I do drink coffee. Not more than 2 cups a day though - too much caffeine, for one. and 2, too many calories.

And I drink the usual coffee with 1/3 milk and 2 tsp of sugar.

As a Brit, I drink tea, of course I can only drink "proper" coffee if it's laced with milk, because the caffeine kills me otherwise, I feel like the top of my head is floating away.

Brits in general drink granulated coffee ,if you were wondering what I meant by "proper". We tend to think someone's trying to be posh if they have a coffee maker

I don't. I don't drink traditional teas either, only the herbal variety sometimes. I've never seen my dad without a cup of coffee by him apart from while he's driving, in my entire 22/23 year existence. He gets pushy and violent when he can't have one. I see it more of an addiction and bad habit than a refreshing drink, so it's never really interested me. Coffee flavoured sweets and cake rank among my favourite things though.

Nope, don't drink tea or coffee. They both taste absolutely disgusting to me, no offense to anyone that loves them. I did grow to like the smell of coffee from working at a coffee shop, but I never could make myself like the flavor. What a waste of all the free coffee I could drink while I worked there, huh?

Holy cow, seven cups of coffee?! :o
I never drink coffee. I hate it. And I don't really need it, thankfully. XD

Nah, I don't usually drink coffee. When I do, it's usually because I'm with someone who wants to buy coffee from Starbucks or something.

I've never been affected by caffeine for some reason so I don't get addicted to coffee...the only thing it does to me is make me jittery if I drink four or more cups.

I don't like hot coffee, as I prefer iced coffee. I guess because I just don't like the taste of hot coffee.

I like hot tea a whole lot better than coffee. It tastes a lot better in my opinion.

Mmmm coffee. :D I love coffee, though first cup doesnt really effect me, I would just like to slip back into bed. I dont get hyped up if I drink a lot of it, just sit back and enjoy it ^__^ No jitters or anythin like that, though I do think I should cut down. :p

That sounds delicious. I love coffee, drink about eight cups a day. But the caffeine doesn't help keep me awake anymore since I've desensitized to it after years of caffeine addiction.
