Ah, well, that's about how SS sets in. the captured begins thinking they deserve especially harsh punishments when they mess up, or they belong with their captor because they 'saved' them in some way. Or that their captor is now their protector.

Hehehe XD Well, with Codi, he thinks he's being abnormal being afraid of what Sam is doing, even though he's just like any other sensible person.

Well of course! But SS sets in to any normal person in the right conditions. Eventually they become comfortable with their existence.
