I wouldn't know how that'd really tie in with the type of spy my character is. Seeing as he doesn't work for any type of king or queen, but other high-class aristocrats, and he can easily work against those he's worked for in the past. And considering his disposition he'd need a real good reason for grabbing the princess and taking off. Like an immediate attack or some other huge issue that's about to just explode...

Oh, and Neko, I hope you don't mind that my character was a pilot for your Queen at one time? I thought that'd be an interesting tie-in that my guy doesn't like to talk about...

What could happen after....? After the attack?

No I mean... To get them out of the palace and then find out about the castle and armada... Unless they are attacked by it and have to go warn other towns and cities... And other Kingdoms...

To get them out of the palace... Well, I'd assume some secret tunnel system accessed by the dungeons of the palace that would get them out of the immediate line of danger...? Perhaps during the attack and in the confusion. That way once they're out they (no doubt begrudgingly) agree to accompany one another to the nearest town to spread the warning...?

Hmm... Perhaps. :P And then that's when they meet Drael.

So, we are starting with the initial attack, or a day or so before it? If that's the case, I can post about the movement of the Queen and what she does... So she just attacks the city, or are we going with she makes her way onto the throne and then launches the attack?

I think the day before would be a very good place to start. That way we'll be able to get our characters into order in the story itself and you can mention Drael somewhere in there. Perhaps not by name or form, but by some watching entity in the forest that seems like just a passing shadow.
Perhaps an attack that disorients everyone immediately, and forces them to give her the throne?
