Ok so I've been friends with this guy ever since we were in kindergarten, we were so close we even still have each others kindergarten pictures. And we just recently started hanging out a lot lately. Like a lot more than usual. And I have started to develop feelings that are more than just friends feelings.

Now it's not a major crush, and I don't want to make our friendship awkward if he doesn't feel the same way. So I need some ideas as to how to hint at that fact that I like him more than friends, and to be able to tell if he likes me back, or if my efforts are just futile.

You can go to Ruby Tuesdays or a similar restaurant. Share a meal together. You both could also go and attend a concert.

You should go on more personal hangouts, like what hummy said, go see a movie. :) You guys have known each other for like ever, so I assume you're pretty comfortable with each other? Let that give you some courage as to maybe flirting a little. :P

I have a similar thing happen to me. I good friend I have had for a really long time confessed his love for me, but I could never return the same feelings. We are still really good friends and things aren't awkward at all.

If he is truly a really good friend, even if he doesn't share your feelings, he should still want to stay friends.
