Liz enjoyed her time with them, right up until her phone buzzed at her. She made a face when she looked at the display.

"Ugh, I'm being called back to the venue," she said. "Apparently, I'm being drafted to help backstage, the crew must be completely incompetent."

"Want some help?" Kaoru asked. He didn't mind helping, and he knew Hikaru wouldn't either. It would likely be more entertaining than just sitting around, anyway.

"If you feel like coming with me," Liz said, getting up. "I won't complain about the extra hands."

The two nodded and stood, letting her lead the way. Hopefully this would be entertaining.

Liz made her way back to the show venue, slipping in the back way. Almost immediately, she was backstage, and she stepped right into the middle of the whirlwind of models and clothes. She took over easily, barking orders and trying to get everything to run smoothly again.

The twins helped out where they could, making sure models were in the right order and actually not causing trouble for once.

They did both take a few moments to admire how easily she took over, though.

Once the show was moving along the way it was supposed to be, Liz finally sat down and accepted a bottle of water from one of the gofers.

"Now that that's settled," she murmured as she cracked open the bottle.

"Well, that was fun," Hikaru said as he dropped down next to her with his own bottle of water.

"Yeah. They looked a little scared of you for a few minutes there." Kaoru grinned.

"Well, it's under control now," Liz said. "We really need to put together our own style team, using the people provided never works out right."

"Nope," Kaoru agreed. "And it looks like everything is going well out there." He nodded towards the stage.

"It had better," Liz said. "I'm not cleaning up any messes the models make out there."

Hikaru snickered and shook his head, relaxing for the moment. He didn't have to worry about anything with his mother's show, not right then anyway.

As the models started to filter back in, Liz got up again to help them undress. She sorted all of the clothes into their individual sections: blouses and tunics and skirts and shorts and pants and dresses; although a couple of pieces ended up in their own separate area. Those she hung up carefully and set aside.

The twins just hung around while she worked on that, instead watching people and keeping to themselves for now.

Finally, all of the clothes were packed up neatly for the trip back to the design studio, and Liz sat down again.

"That was crazy," she said.

"Yup." Kaoru nodded sympathetically.

"And one day you'll be in charge of everything," Hikaru added oh so helpfully with a grin.

"Shut up, you," Liz said, giving Hikaru an affectionate shove. "I'm just hoping that we won't end up rivals, okay? Because that will be very, very hard to reverse if it happens before I take over."

"It might, it might not," Hikaru said. "Our mother doesn't really have many rivals, so you might not have to worry."

"My mother can be a wildcard sometimes," Liz admitted. "She has a couple of intense rivalries back in the States, it got kind of heated at times."

"Yeah, we've seen that happen with other designers," Kaoru said with a shrug.

"Mom might just be a little too out there to notice." Hikaru shrugged as well.

"Well, we're going to establish this now, then," Liz said. "The three of us? Are not going to be rivals. Whatever happens before we step up, we're not going to be rivals once we take over. Deal?"

"Sounds good to us," the twins chorused with brief grins. They didn't care about rivals or non rivals, and having her not be a rival would be more entertaining for them.

"Good," Liz said, grinning. She sighed. "Hopefully now I can go back to the hotel and relax in the hot tub for a while. That sounds fantastic." She looked at them. "Join me, if you like."

The two looked at each other and had a whole silent conversation in the space of a few moments. Then they grinned.

"Sounds like a good idea to us."

Liz raised an eyebrow, because she knew she just missed an entire conversation. But she grinned anyways.

"Great," she said. "Meet you there in an hour."
