"I can just hear them now," Liz said, grinning. "If we showed up wearing each other's designs."

"It looks great," Mori said, nodding.

The twins cackled. "Shall we?" they asked her, looking a little too eager.

Lucy smiled at him and made a note to wear it for her next occasion.

"We shall," Liz said, nodding and grinning. "Done. We're going to do this."

The twins grinned at that. Oh this was going to be such fun.

It didn't end up happening immediately, but when it did happen, it was even more fun than the twins had originally thought. They were having an entire Alice in Wonderland theme for a while, and had gotten Haruhi to play Alice. The twins, of course, were twin Cheshire Cats.

Liz and Lucy had even been roped into the theme, and they were wearing matching ball gowns in red and white. Each also had a domino mask over her eyes that matched her dress, and opera gloves up to the elbow. Liz was perfectly happy as the White Queen, while Lucy had ended up as the Red Queen.

Somehow, Mori had ended up being turned into a Knave, and was dressed head to toe in red to match Lucy.

Lucy did blush a bit when she saw Mori but she smiled all the same.

"There you are," the twins said, making their way over to Liz. They each had a simple white strip of leather around their throats that acted as a collar.

"Here I am," Liz said, grinning a bit as she adjusted her mask.

Mori smiled back, holding out his arm for her.

"My lady," he murmured to her.

"Looks good," the twins both said, grinning.

"And you didn't even cut it up like you threatened," Hikaru teased.

"Thank you," Lucy murmured, taking his arm and letting him lead.

"It's not too frilly," Liz pointed out. "Now if there had been pin-tucks or big ruffles, all bets would have been off."

"You look beautiful," Mori said to her as he walked with her.

The twins grinned.

"Well, now that we know what's acceptable..."

"Thanks," Lucy said, blushing again under her mask. "You look great, too."

Liz laughed.

"Yes, yes," she said. "I know you're going to start designing things." She grinned. "That just means I'll design a mix-and-match line based on you both."

"Thank you," Mori replied.

The twins grinned. "Sounds like fun," they agreed.

"I think the only one missing now is Haruhi," Kaoru said, looking around.

"So, just another party, or is Tamaki planning something again?" Lucy asked, amused.

"Go see if you can find her," Liz said, waving her hands. "I'll be fine on my own for a while, go on."

"Not sure," Mori replied. "He might be."

Hikaru detached to go find Haruhi while Kaoru stayed with Liz for the moment.

It didn't take long for Hikaru to emerge with Haruhi, who was dressed as Alice and rather grumpy about it.

"It seems like something he'd do," Lucy murmured.

Liz went over to Haruhi, grinning a bit.

"It could be worse," she said

"Indeed," Mori agreed.

"I'm in a frilly dress," Haruhi pointed out with a little scowl. "Why do I have to do this again?"

"Because you're the Alice to Tamaki's Mad Hatter," Liz replied. "It's just for the evening, roll with it and have some fun."

Haruhi sighed but went to go check on Tamaki.

"So, the normal mingling now?" Kaoru asked, looking at Hikaru with a grin.

"For now," the other twin agreed. They both knew there was more to come later.

"Well, go on, then," Liz said. "Mingle. Entertain."

The boys went into the crowd to go talk to the clients, but they didn't stray too far from Liz.

It didn't take long for people to notice the color matching, and between the twins not straying and Mori dressed entirely to match Lucy, some murmurs started.

Liz heard the whispers, but ignored them in favor of letting the twins do their thing.

Mori heard them, as well, and did exactly the opposite: he gave them more fuel by holding out a hand to Lucy when the music started for dancing.

Lucy blinked and blushed a bit but took his hand, letting him lead the dance. He really was a good dancer, and she found herself smiling.

The twins looked over and grinned. Another couple dances to keep the guests happy and then they'd go take turns with Liz.

Mori smiled back. When the first song was over, he bowed to her and let her go. He had to dance at least once with the other girls before he could go over to Lucy again.

Liz stayed out of the first couple of dances, just watching.

The twins made their way over to Liz and Lucy, grinning and bowing to them.

"May we?" they asked in sync, though they were several feet apart.

"Of course," Liz said, grinning and holding out a hand. "Lead on, Kaoru."
