"Indeed," Mori replied with a smile. "Perhaps we can dance later on?"

"Of course," Lucy agreed. "Whenever you want." She smiled and finally released his hand a little reluctantly.

Mori smiled and kissed the back of her hand gently. He really wanted to give her a proper kiss, but he couldn't do that in such a crowded place, not yet. And he didn't want to scare her off.

Lucy smiled a little more broadly and certainly didn't object. But she refrained from doing anything else in so public a place, instead watching him go.

Kyoya had watched the whole thing and smirked, though he went to go do a few other things before pushing his other plan into motion.

Mori sent Kyoya a Look, and then went back to mingle briefly in the crowd. He saw what Kyoya was doing, and he didn't need the push, thank you very much.

Kyoya just smiled briefly and vanished into the crowd again for the moment.

Elsewhere in the room, Liz had taken a moment to find a mirror to check her hair and face. It wouldn't do for her to look frizzy or messy so early in the evening.

Lucy made her way over to Liz, grinning briefly.

"Having fun so far?" she asked.

"I should be asking you that," Liz said, grinning. "I saw you dancing with Kyoya. How was it?"

"With Kyoya? Interesting." Lucy grinned. "He's not much of a chatter, but he's an excellent dancer."

"I could see that," Liz teased. "What was he saying to you at the end there?"

"He said "Now watch what Mori does"." Lucy grinned and blushed a bit, because Mori had indeed risen to the challenge.

Liz snickered.

"He really is a puppetmaster," she said, grinning. "That was masterful."

"Indeed." Lucy grinned. "It's a good thing he seems content with mischief for now rather than any serious world conquering."

"No kidding," Liz said, grinning a bit. "He could take over the world in a day if he felt like it."

"He could," Lucy agreed with a grin. "Hopefully he doesn't have aspirations of world control."

"No kidding," Liz said again, grinning. She shook out her skirts a bit and adjusted her white mask. "We should probably make our way back into the crowds."

"Probably," Lucy agreed with a grin, shifting her own mask back a bit before she went back into the crowd.

Liz drifted out into the crowd again, not really mingling but not ignoring anyone, either. She could see one of the twins (that she assumed was Hikaru) off pestering Kyoya, though, and that seemed mildly amusing.

Kyoya's revenge of course was to snatch up Liz for a quick dance. The twins both watched, glowering at Kyoya.

Liz blinked at the sudden whirl into the dance.

"I take it back, you probably are planning world domination," she commented as she slipped easily into the dance steps.

Kyoya just chuckled and danced with her for one song, stopping at the end.

"Not yet," he said pleasantly. "Just pushing people in the right direction." And then he handed her easily over to Hikaru, who was just about spitting mad.

"He's devious," she commented when she was handed off to Hikaru. "Hey. Hikaru. Calm down some, you look like you're about to rupture something."

Hikaru grumbled. "He's a jerk," he muttered, although he started dancing with her again. "And I'm not about to rupture something."

"You definitely look like you're about to spontaneously combust," Liz teased gently. "Just relax, Kyoya's just being his puppetmaster self. I swear he's plotting to take over the world."
