"Put her in the backseat. You'll also see two briefcases there, that's the payment I owe both you and your crew," Darren responded. "And do put the seatbelt on her, I'd hate for something to happen to her on the way back," he added.

"Thanks, both of you. I'm still pissed off at myself though," Leanna admitted.

The man nodded and had one of his crew get the briefcases while he placed Andrea in the backseat. " I don't know if she's awake and has been usually quiet. "

Andrea stayed still and tensed at hearing Dr. Cross' voice. She knew it would be a very bad idea if he found out about Her timeshift ability and knew she had to keep calm.

" I feel the same way. Who ever those jerks were knew how to distract us. " Grant said. " Where can we find this Scott Lang? I mean he's out of prison by now. " He said and had a feeling someone was watching them.

"Rumor says that Scott's been working with Dr. Pym and dating his daughter, we should probably start there," Leanna stated, having a feeling that they were being watched, but couldn't determine as from where.

" Sounds like a good idea. " Grant said. " Now all we need to do is find him. "

" Guys, is it just me , or are there a lot of ants here?" Skye asked feeling a bit tense.

Leanna sighed at that. "Guess the rumors are true then. Grant, what have the records said about an "Ant Man"? she asked before projecting her voice. "Scott, I know you're here. We need your help."

" Only that HYDRA is in panic mode. " Grant siad as a man suddenly appeared.

" Really? HYDRA is afrad of me?" Scott said impressed. " Well is had been a while Ms. Hatcher. How can we help?" He asked since Hank and Hope were listening in.

"First I should probably ask this...you aren't still mad at me due to the last time we crossed paths?" she asked.

" Well , since you were the one to help me break into Vista Corp, which caused me to go to prison. Yes I am, but in light of my current situation,no. So maybe I'm sort of angry with you. " Scott said and wondered what was up. " Let me guess that fight was targeted at you three?"

" Yes it was and those jerks took my sister!" Skye said angrily and was worried Andrea was in danger.

" Where is he taking me?" Andrea thought as she sat. The blind fold was still on and it seemed like it had been a while since those men had left.

Darren was currently driving towards the Tower that he worked at, not trusting anyone to talk about this if he had his usual driver drive for him. This time he would force Andrea to work for him and perfect the process that was currently causing the project to malfunction. If not, well...he could always kidnap the girl she was holding hands with and use her as a guinea pig.

"A distraction to get to Andrea," Leanna muttered darkly before shaking her head lightly, forcing those thoughts back. "So...what happened to you since the last time I've seen you?" she asked, quite curious.

" Well, I got out of prison. Tried working at baskin Robbins. Did you know they always find out about criminal records? Stole a suit, returned suit , got arrested and saved by ants. Well and I have a girlfriend and am a superhero you could say. Maybe not as cool as Iron Man but still pretty cool. " Scott said.

" Sounds quite interesting. " Grant said.
" You work for Dr. Pym right ? We're hoping he'll let you help us , since technically we're SHIELD agents. " Skye siad in a whisper and sort of had an idea why he had left. It helped looking into old files and what her grandma had told her. " Grandma siad he had a pretty good punch. " She had having a feeling he was listening.

"And your grandmother is...?" Scott asked. "Speaking of which, besides Lea here, I don't know any of your names," he added as he mentally sent the ants away.

" I'm Agent Grant Ward of SHIELD and not HYDRA. Some people tend to forget that.and I confess what you can do with ants is an awesome thing. " He said and knew Fitz and Simmons would be interested in that as well.

" And I'm Skye Carpenter. Peggy Carter is my paternal grandmother. Grant and I are on the same team. Grant, I think we should let AC know about this , since technically this is a criminal act against a SHIELD agent.And see I did memorize the policy manual like I said I did. "

Andrea felt the car stop and tensed. She knew she'd have to speak with Dr. Cross, but didn't want to. It was hard keeping calm but she knew it was essential as an agent to do so and keep her timeshifting abilities hidden from him, though she suspected he knew she was a technopath , due to her skills as a computer scientist.

"I know you can hear me Ms. Carpenter, get out of the car," Darren Cross ordered after opening the door.

"AC?" Leanna asked, having a feeling she meant Andrea, but had never heard the term before.

" Agent Coulson. AC is Skye's nickname for him. " Grant said.

" It's nice to meet the both of you. " Scott said. " We better get out of here before anyone else comes. "

Andrea got out of the car and said nothing. She was just doing what her training told her to and would try and do what he asked since she had a feeling that people were looking for her.

"Probably a good idea," Leanna replied to Scott's comment as she filed away the nickname for later.

" What do you want with me ?" Andrea demanded and felt terrified. Something didn't feel right about this place.

"You, my dear Andrea Carpenter, are going to help me get this new technology of mine to work. I know you're a Technomage, as some people call it, so I want you to use your talents to see what is going on, what's wrong and how I can fix it. Of course, you will be paid for your services...if you comply that is," Darren explained in a calm voice.

" And if I don't? " Andrea asked keeping calm. She knew this wouldn't end well if she didn't comply with his request , fearing those she cared about would be hurt. The tension she felt caused her to relive the last hour and hated every moment of it, hoping Dr. Cross didn't notice any differences.

"I've been keeping tabs on you over the years my dear. A newfound family...a new lover. I'm sure people would pay me a king's ransom to know the information that I know about you now Andrea Carpenter. I do not need Leanna Hatcher kept alive after all..." he responded calmly.

" Leave Leanna and my family out of this. " Andrea said angrily. " I'll work for you, even though I hate that you've been keeping an eye on me. Do you do this to all applicants who refuse a job offer?"

"No, only the ones who have the ability to talk to machines" he replied. "And as long as you comply, Skye and Leanna will be left unharmed, you have my word," Darren promised.

" Fine. " Andrea said still concerned what he wanted her to do wasn't legal." I just hope Leana and the others are getting help. "She thought. " So what sort of tech are you talking? Computers are easier for me to talk to, others not so much. You might not know this , but being a technopath isn't as easy as you might think. I can't connect to all technology or choose not to because of certain issues. " Andrea said trying to stall this a bit.

"Certain issues?" Darren asked.
