"Alright," Steve said with a light grin. He knew how hard it was to stay in the good graces of the population, especially when they were fighting a war. "It's completely understandable, and it's good to see that you're making a difference." He said while approving of the idea of them still learning, not only on how to control their powers, but also on the mundane stuff as well. It was nice to see.

Charles stayed away from the barriers. While he was naturally curious as to what was hidden behind them, he had promised not to invade her privacy and he was going to do exactly that. "Interesting..." he muttered as he saw what exactly her powers were: manipulation of time and telepathy with electronical abilities. Though he was also surprised to see that her parents were SHIELD agents as well.

"I most likely will," Mai said as she suited up for the mission, making sure that everything was good to go. Hearing him talking about Skye, she sighed before nodding. "Not only did she lie to us, but there's also the fact that she was part of The Rising Tides at one point in time. I say we at least ask her if she knew anything about it or not. We just have to hope and trust that she's telling the truth," she replied.

" It's open. Though I have a feeling Logan will want a chance to see how good you fight Captain Rogers. " Scott said. He had been a fan of Captain Anerica since he was a boy and was happy he had the chance to meet a hero of his. " Ready to head on in?" He asked.

Andrea didn't want anyone to know about the time she had gone undercover for the FBI. She had been able to find the hackers that had been causing trouble for the local FBI but hadn't been able to locate two of that group. It had been a girl a few years younger than her and her boyfriend. Andrea had a feeling that assignment was part if the reason she was a target.

" Yes we do. We should ask her before we leave. Though for some reason Skye reminds me of someone I once worked with. " Coulson said. From the beginning he had seen similarities in how Skye did things to how Roger and Anne had done things. He had been the one to tell Andrea about her parent's deaths and make sure she made if safely to New York. Though after seeing the letter Skye had shown him, he needed to do some more comparisons between the two women.

"Then I'll be sure to give him one. Hopefully it won't be too much for even the Wolverine to handle," Steve said with a light chuckle. "Also, thanks for not acting like a fanboy, at least I think that's the right word," he added. Some of the new words in this time still confused him but he nodded all the same to Scott's question.

Charles stopped the mind probe after finding what he was looking for, not going through any of the barriers that Andrea had set up. Though the last one looked a lot stronger than the others she created. For some reason whatever memory that was did not want to be brought to life. Seeing as to how she had gotten her powers and how they were triggered, he knew that now they had to work on her bringing them out and controlling them. Though he had a feeling he'd need to bring in someone to help create an area where she could work on controlling time. Having it suddenly speed up or slow down wasn't something he thought the others could handle. 'She's definitely an Omega Class...' he thought to himself.

"What do you mean?" Mai asked, curious as to what he meant. Granted, the female agent knew that they needed to ask Skye if she knew what exactly was going on. She just hoped that for the agent in training that she would be telling them the truth...

Andrea relaxed and gave a smile once the probe was done. " What did you find?" She asked and hoped that her powers could be controlled.

" Skye reminds me of a good friend of mine who often like to bend rules in order to get things done, but his mother was the same way. Though need to figure out how Skye might be connected to them . " Coulson said as they both headed toward Skye's room.

"Several interesting things. First off, your powers are extremely powerful. So much so that you're actually part of what we call the "Omega Class". Its for powers that have the potential to mess with the world on a global scale. (I could be wrong here though)

"I see. Well then, let's go ask her," Mai said as she followed Coulson towards Skye room. Once they got there, Mai quickly knocked on her door. "Skye, you in there?" she asked.

" They are?" Andrea said and asked what her powers were. She knew that one of them was precognition and another being able to comunincate with technology. Though she was concerned about anyothers that she might have. She also wanted to discuss the dreams and feelings she had been having lately.

" I am. " Skye said and was feeling confused. It felt like she had just relived the last 24 hours and they had happened the same way as before.She didn't know what had just happened and wondered if it had to do with that bad headache.Skye had a feeling Agent May wanted to ask her some questions and would tell the truth. Skye thought of what just happened to her and wondered if anyone else had relived the last day.

"They are. With the right training, you could actually control time, move it forward, backwards, what have you. You could also potentially change it with enough training, but that's something very dangerous and I advise against you not doing it, except for very good reasons," Charles said in explanation. "If you overuse your powers, it will cause severe headaches. There's also this ability of yours tha can allow you to talk to technology, though it seems as if there are no negatives to that power," Xavier explained.

"We have a few questions for you, if you don't mind answering them," Coulson said.

" How is it that I have the ability to manipulate time? I understand how I can talk to technology and being able to see the future. Though so far I've only seen past events and have been having strange feelings. " Andrea said and wondered about her powers even more.

" Don't mind at all. " Skye said. " It's not like I can say no right now. " She thought to herself bitterly. Skye had a feeling someone was looking for her but had no idea who it would be. Unless her boyfriend had betrayed her and the Rising Tides had made her a target like that woman who had been poking her nose into things when Skye had lived in New York.

"Let's say you see something in the future. Something that drastically effects humans as a whole, something terrible. You would want to do everything within your power to change that, right?" he asked.

"Have you been getting severe headaches lately?" Coulson asked, having a feeling that Skye was related to Anne Carpenter in some way. If she answered in the positive, then he'd take Skye with them on this mission of their's, even if she was a risk. He just had that feeling that Peggy would know exactly who Skye was...

" I would. Though unless the event I would want to change was one that was supposed to happen. I assume the consequences would be great if I did change them? " Andrea asked but had a feeling she wouldn't know if she had been the one to cause those events in the first place.

" I have. I just had one a few minutes ago and had passed out. " Skye said. " I mean that wasn't totally a lie, just a different version of the truth. " She thought not sure how Coulson and Agent May would react to a story about reliving the past 24 hours.

"That's the problem with manipulating the time streams. We had a mutant who came from the future, codenamed Cable. I don't exactly recall the specifics of his mission, but he was here to change his present by coming here to the past," Charles replied with a light smile on his face, glad that she understood the reason why she couldn't abuse her powers.

"I see. And you're just waking up from this blackout?" he asked, having an idea of what was going on. If his theory was correct, then he knew exactly who Skye's parents were, but it would have to happen after they rescued Peggy. He was still unsure as to whether or not he should bring Skye along, not after what happened with her boyfriend, even if she was trying to find out who her parents were.

" How do I train to use these sort of powers ? " Andrea asked not wanting to use them and cause any problems. She did wonder if her sister had these same powers.


" Correct and that I just relived the last 24 hours." Skye said and figured to let the full truth come out. She did wonder why she was being asked these questions.

"There is a device that Cable gave us that can help you, or so he said. No one has needed it, but we kept it just in case. I can get it for you, if you want.

"Anne Carpenter said the same thing before every once in a while. And sometimes she said that things had changed because of what she did, though she was extremely tired after those events," Coulson said. "Skye... I think it will be for the best if you came with us to extract my friend. You might find something that connects to your side project," he said as he noticed her eyes widen.

" I would like that. I know I should have let you see this while you were in my mind but I've been having dreams. They were more like memories and I feel someone close to me is in danger. " Andrea said. " I also have a feeling I have a sister and am worried about her. " She added.

" Your friend knows something about my parents ? " Skye said in surprise. She also wanted to know who Anne Carpenter was but had a feeling that she would find out soon enough. " So who is this friend of yours?" Skye asked and was glad Coulson still trusted her enough to let her come.

"I can help you find her, if you want. Though whether she even knows about you or wants to meet you is another story. Now then, why don't you follow me and I can get that device for you," Charles said as he motioned for Andrea to follow him.

"She does, and you'll find out when we get there," he said, not wanting to raise her hopes up any more than he already had.

Andrea nodded and followed Professor Xavier. " Is it possible my sister is a mutant like me? " She asked after a while. Andrea hoped her sister wanted to see her and didn't know what to do if she didn't.

" Alright. So where are we headed?" Skye asked and hoped she had a chance to sleep a little bit. That headache had made her really tired and she knew being focused during a mission was important. Skye felt guilty for betraying the trust of her team and knew it would take a long time to regain that trust after she had broke it.

Peggy was getting packed for her trip and had said she was visiting friends. Though it would be good to see Phil again , she was feeling tense. Peggy packed some photos and smiled at the ones of her family, thinking again about the granddaughter she had known for such a short time.

Coulson knew that they were going to have to play this one closely, especially since he heard that that his idol, Captain America, was around the city. It wouldn't do well for the First Avenger to see the man he thought was dead. He just hoped that they would be able to pick Peggy up without any problems.

Skye woke up a few hours later and got changed. So far she didn't have a bad headach like she had before, but another dream that didn't make sense. This one she saw and older woman looking sad and talking to the woman who had taken her to the orphange. " Could that woman be my mom?"She thought and waited for Coulson.

Phil headed towards the briefing room, knowing that Skye and Mai were already waiting for him.

" So how are we doing this? Is your friend waiting for us or are we going it surprise her ?" Agent May asked. She had done some research on Peggy and had been impressed. She had her doubts about bringing Skye but would trust Coulson with this.

"She's waiting for us actually," Coulson said as he explained the situation.

"It's good that Director Fury is moving her since we don't know who attacked those agents. " Agent May said knowing time was precious.

"Why would anyone want to hurt your friend? Was one if her family members a target by the Rising a Tide by any chance?' Skye asked having a feeling she knew who this woman might be related to. There had been a hacker that she and her ex boyfriend had evaded last year after they had recruited some others into the Rising Tide. It had been a close call and hoped never to see that woman again.

"One of her family members is a target for the Rising Tides, from what our sources say. Do you happen to know an Andrea Carpenter?" Coulson asked. He knew that Andrea had helped the FBI once to stop two hackers from getting secrets and wondered if she knew about it.
