" Maybe it's best we don't know the whole story. Did grandma tell you that mom had been found shortly after that meeting? " Andrea asked since that was one of the few things she knew about their mom's past.

Skye nodded. "She did. I just wish I could have gotten to know them like you did..."

" I wish you could have too. I wish we would have grown up together in Japan. I know you would have loved it there as much as I did. " Andrea said feeling sad again.

Skye shook her head lightly, "the past is the past," she responded.

"Agreed," Nick Fury said as both Steve Rodgers and Agent Coulson saluted Nick. "At ease soldiers."

Andrea tensed a bit when she saw Director Fury. It had been a while since she had seen him and had a bad feeling about something. She just hoped this didn't have anything to do with her parent's deaths.

Skye tensed as well, this the first time she had actually seen the man in full. She had caught a glimpse of him earlier when they had to land from the fallout of the alien's disease.

" I'm glad to see that the both you have met." Fury said. He understood that this day would happen but not under these circumstances. If the reports were true, it meant that Skye and Andrea's father was still alive, but working for the enemy. Nick had a feeling Roger had been brainwashed and that both woman were in danger.

"You said that you had some urgent news for us sir," Steve replied, as he recalled the message that was sent to him, and most likely Agent Coulson as well. If this wasn't important, he would have asked the Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. to explain himself and why he didn't inform him of being alive.

" I do. It appears that a former agent of SHIELD has been reported alive and possibly poses a threat. " Fury started and looked at both Andrea and Skye." We don't know if it's your father, but our sources say he's been working with HYDRA." He had a feeling someone knew about both the girls and he wasn't going to let them be harmed.

"Y-you mean that my father is alive?!" both Andrea and Skye stated at the same time in shock. If that was indeed the case, and he was being brainwashed by HYDRA, then they had to do something.

" I do. If he is alive, it's possible HYDRA is using him. The fact that this information has been discovered so soon after the finding of the artifact and message means that HYDRA is doing everything to distract us. I've sent a team to find the location of your father and bring him in. " Nick said. He hated to think his old friend and mentor was on the side of the enemy and wanted to know the truth himself.

Roger Carpenter hated the situation he had been in for the last 8 years and knew SHIELD was getting closer. He feared both his daughters would be killed if he was captured and had to leave Singapore quickly. It wasn't going to be an easy task but he liked a challenge every now and then.

"What about my daughter...is she still alive?" Peggy asked, used to shocks like these thanks to her work during World War II with Steve and SHIELD after they finished. She was also worried about her granddaughters, but knew that they could take care of themselves, and had friends that could back them up if necessary.

" We haven't found any evidence that Anne is still alive but for now she's still dead. " Nick said seeing the looks of Skye's and Andrea's faces. He knew there had been one body found at the crash site but they hadn't been able to determine who it belonged to.

"I see," Peggy said, saddened by the news.

Andrea was also saddened by the news and hoped her dad wasn't working for HYDRA. She just wanted to see him agian and knew Skye wanted to meet him too.

Skye had a feeling that their father was working for HYDRA, but it was because he was being forced to do so. She just had that feeling.

" In the mean time, I'll have Skye and Andrea stationed here. Anyone who wants to stay with them may do so, I've talked with Stark and he's still willing to work with you here." Fury said.

"That's probably for the best," Coulson replied, knowing that their father could know about their whereabouts while they were on the helicarrier and "Bus" respectively.

"Wait...you two are working with Tony Stark aka Ironman?" Skye asked as her eyes widened.

" We are." Andrea said with a grin.

Skye grumbled lightly at that, muttering about how she never got to work with any of the Avengers.

" I have a feeling you'll have the chance. " Peggy said with a smile knowing Steve would want to be here.

"I'm actually going to be staying here Skye," Steve replied.

" Really? That's awesome. " Skye said with a grin.

Steve chuckled lightly. "Someone has to keep Leana in line after all," Steve said with a light chuckle, causing the ex-assassin to pout lightly.

" And me in line. I tend to get into trouble when I don't expect it. " Andrea said.
