(I can see why, and we'll see)

"Perhaps you should step out first Andrea, to show them all that you are safe and unharmed. I believe that would be the best course of action," the Doctor said after making sure he was back where Andrea first vanished from and into the TARDIS.

" I'll do that. " Andrea said and headed to the door. " I'm okay. " She said stepping out side with her hands up.

" What happened ?" Fury said as calmly as he possibly could knowing what Andrea had done was foolish. But he also knew that Anne would have done the same thing. " Is he in there?" He asked and saw Andrea nod. " You can come out Doctor. We all are not going to shoot you if you come out. We just have some questions. " He said in a louder voice.

The Doctor stuck his head out. "You're sure you aren't going to shoot me? Some people have said that before and still went through with it," he responded.

" I'm sure. Barton! Get down here!" Fury yelled at the rafters." I do not want you to get any ideas." He added." Sorry about that Doctor. One of my agents is up there and I know he is disappointed in the lack of target practice. But in honesty we were prepared for something much worse."

Clint slung his his bow across his shoulders and slid down the rope he had tied." Sorry about that sir. Director Fury is correct I am a little disappointed. I have a major issue with aliens that think they can kill anything and try take over the Earth." He said and thought back to the Chitauri and when he was under Loki's control. To him Daleks were no different than Loki and the Chitauri army was. The nightmares still came but the not as bad as before.

" It is true Doctor. We were expecting Daleks actually ,since they have appeared in this universe before." Coulson said and had been helping Peggy a little bit with the files she had. "We should head to the Bus. There we can debrief Agent Carpenter and tell you what we know about you." He said feeling giddy since two of his heroes would be in the same room but kept his calm.

"Some aliens feel the same way about humans you know," the Doctor said as he stepped out of the TARDIS. He could feel that the archer had some history with aliens...and a God? 'Must be part of the story that Andrea told me about,' he thought to himself. "So...who's in charge? I assume he, or she, would like an explanation?" He asked. He had a feeling that the guy with the eyepatch was in charge, but he wanted verbal confirmation first.

" I understand sir . I'm in charge. But I feel that my predecessor should be the one to conduct this meeting. Peggy Carter Carpenter is 94 but she still knows how to handle a situation like this." Fury said and was glad Peggy was up to all this.

"Are you willing to help me Steve? I know Andrea will be safe if she's with The Doctor. Though the version I met isn't Matt Smith's version. I swear it was Peter Capaldi's since I was extremely shocked when he was named as the next Doctor." Peggy said and got the files ready. She was touched that Nick had wanted her to do this. "I only watch the show to make sure that whole thing in the 60's wasn't a dream." She added. " In all my years that was the strangest mission ever. And shortly afterwards I found Anne." Peggy said sadly thinking about her late daughter in law.

"I'm always willing to help you Peggy," Steve responded. "How can I help?" he asked, unsure of what he could do to help, but would do anything that he could.

"Just hand me the folders and make sure everyone stays in line. The last time I met the Doctor , Dum Dum Dugan decided to take a swing at the poor Doctor when he stated a very true fact. Took both Harold and Joshua to stop that fight. " Peggy said and shook her head. " I can see Tony stating something that might cause trouble but I have a feeling this will go well. " She added. " Hello Doctor. It's a pleasure to see you again. Though, I have a feeling this is your first time meeting me." Peggy said standing up carefully when she saw the Doctor enter." I can say I'm no River Song, but I aspire to be her when I'm older." She added with a grin.

The Doctor just nodded before chuckling lightly. "Knowing my...wife, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing," he admitted.

" It's a good thing trust me. Steve can tell you I was a little like her back in the day. Please sit down and let's get started. " Peggy said with a smile and sat down carefully in her chair. She hated being so old but knew that it was the way things went.

Andrea sat down next to Skye who hadn't left her side since she had arrived back. " I'll be okay sis. " She said hoping her sister wasn't too scared.

" I don't know really. I would love to go but I don't want to leave you. " Andrea said softly not sure if that would happen anyway. She was paying attention to the meeting and making notes. She did wonder if there was a connection to the events in 1964 and the events of today.

" So what you are saying Peggy is that its possible this artifact was intentionally sent. I'm thinking it was the Asgaurdian Mussolini stabbed me that sent it here. I would say worse but it isn't fair to Thor if I insult his brother with harsher words. " Coulson said and had a feeling Thor would be here soon if it was Loki.

" If it was Loki he would be on Earth by now. " Clint said with anger in his eyes. " I'm not going to let that coward get away this time and he will get an arrow in his eye. " He added.

" Agent Barton, a wise Silurian named Madame Vastra once said :Anger is the quickest way to a mistake. We can't afford to make mistakes. " Peggy said. She didn't know what other saying would work and had thought that quotation would help calm Clint down.

" But Strax would recomend grenades. I could use someone like him on my team. " Coulson said with a slight grin to Fury, knowing that Fury would get the joke.

"Sometimes you don't have to be afraid of the lightning, but you would be afraid of what comes after it," Steve replied with a light grin, knowing that Tony would get the reference. "Doctor, can we assume that my goddaughter has clued you into what has happened so far with HYDRA and The Rising Tides?" he asked.

"You can assume correctly. While I didn't intend for events to happen as they did, they did happen. I can't change the past...well, technically I can, but that costs a whole slew of different problems. Anyways, the events of Andrea Carpenter being...summoned to the TARDIS and the rest is history...theoretically anyways," he said. He couldn't help himself when it came to idioms dealing with time; he had to screw around with them.

" I have a feeling it has to do with her powers. We never did know Anne Carpenter's true origins. Even her death was a bit mysterious. We know Roger is alive and in trouble. But Anne we have no clue. No bodies were found. I hated to put bodies in thier coffins that were not thier's but there was intense heat on Andrea at the time. If there wasn't a funeral Andrea would still be in Tokyo. It wasn't fair to her that she spent her childhood that way. If Anne is alive somewhere what is the chance she was a Time Lady? "Fury asked since it was something he had given great thought. He knew even Professor Xavier thought Anne's abilities were quite unusual for a mutant.

" Nick is right. There was intense heat on Andrea. We were concerned that since she was 17 she would have awakened her powers too soon. " Peggy said. " I found Anne walking the streets of London as a child. I had to bring her in after the story she told me about the bad man that had taken her from her parents. Never was able to locate her parents and didn't want her to be afraid or alone. " She added solemnly.

" You mean mom could still be alive?" Andrea said shocked. It was hard enough to think of her dad still being alive but it was impossibe to think that her mom was. " I just don't want to get my hopes up if she is and I can't help her. It's hard enough that I can't do anything to help my dad. " She said and didn't want to cry.

"We can't do anything right now for him Andrea, but we are looking into ways of solving it," Coulson responded. "I'm not sure if we'll find anything that will actually work, mind you, but we are trying." he said.

"Do you think you could explain what exactly happened or when and where it happened? If that's the case, I can look into it before coming back," The Doctor replied, now extremely curious as to what happened. And while he was no Sherlock Holmes, he did love a good mystery...It's how most of his adventures started really.

" It was Shanghai July 15 2004 at the Lotus Hotel. It was supposed to be a simple transfer mission. We had one of our quantum physicists there in protection. According to Assistant Director Maria Hill someone inside had to be a double agent. I trust Maria to tell me the truth. I was back in DC dealing with the final plans to the Helicarrier we have. Doctor Wang was supposed to have been there and Roger and Anne were to take him to Hong Kong for debriefing. Supposedly, he had found out how to manipulate the laws of human physics. But once Roger and Anne arrived we had interference from rival agencies. Maria said there was an explosion and chaos with at least 7 known people dead. We found bodies with Anne's and Rogers passports where they should have been and assumed it was them. But autopsies proved wrong. All we found of Anne's was this pocket watch she always carried. Said it was the only reminder of her parents she had. " Nick said putting it on the table.

" To this day I have no idea what went wrong. But we did find extensive data about Anne and Andrea in the hotel room. There was even details about Skye there that we kept sealed since we didn't want to undermine Anne's predictions about her girls. Anne knew almost exactly how they were going to meet. She had about an 85% accuracy rate on her predictions and Professor Charles Xavier had said that was an unusual level to have. He wanted to get the chance to understand what Anne could do but she wasn't comfortable with learning more. She always said ignorance was bliss. " Fury added.

The Doctor patiently listened to Peggy Carpenter as she explained everything that she knew about the day of her parent's supposed death. But now that he knew the time and the place, he could investigate...albeit carefully and from the shadows. These events had already happened and he was going to be heavily messing with the timestream, once again, if he interfered in anyway.

Though that begged the question if he could do it in the first place. "Director Fury, would you have any device or technology that would allow a person to become invisible at will? As you're probably aware, I can go anywhere in time and space: backwards, forewards or sideways. You also know what happens if I meddle too much with history," he said, assuming that all of his past versions had been televised. He hoped; however, that they didn't know that each Doctor kept a journal of the events in his life.

"Wait, you kept sealed records on me?" Skye asked, surprised. She knew about some of the records that she had unearthed, but still...this was news to her. Why were they sealed so long ago? Granted there was an 85% chance of success, there was still a 15% chance of things not going the way that they had. "What type of data?" she also asked, trying to keep the anger out of her voice.
