" I'm sure I'll find out once I'm allowed visitors. If that happens though. I have a lot to answer for and am willing to pay for what I've done. " Roger said. He had a feeling Nick would want to hear that Red Skull was alive and that he was working with someone that had messed with SHEILD recently.

"You shouldn't have to though, you were being brainwashed in order to due their dirty work," Anne replied.

" I know , but I still feel responsible . " Roger said with a sigh and winced. " I love you Anne and I meant it when I said it didn't matter that you were different than I was. " He said and carefully reached out his hand to hold his wife's. " I'm sure Nick will be In here shortly to see me. I want to help keep our girls safe. " He said wanting to see both Andrea and Skye. "How beautiful are our girls?" Roger asked hoping that Skye wanted to see him when she found out.

Anne laughed lightly. "Leana will have to make sure that the boys don't harm our girls," she replied as she took his hand into both of hers.

" Really? " Roger said trying not to laugh since his ribs were broken. " I think I met a Leana once but I can't remember clearly. HYDRA had me doing many types of jobs while I was under their control. " He said feeling tired. " I should rest but you can stay if you like. " Roger said to Anne with a smile. Knowing the woman he loved was alive and that his girls had finally met was enough motivation for him to focus on his recovery.

Anne nodded, and continued to hold his hand, even when he went back to sleep. She knew that he had a long ways to go in recovering his health, but she would be with him every step of the way.

Andrea woke up with a start and felt the tears in her eyes. "Is he really here?"She thought and hoped her dad was truly alive and wondered if it would be possible to see him.

Skye also felt as if her father was here, but didn't know why this was. Could it have been connected to her powers? She'd worry about it later. All she wanted to know was if he was alright, and if she could see him.

Anne sat and kept a watch on Roger and hated to see that he was in so much pain. She could sense that someone was heading toward here and looked to the doorway. "Nick. Good to see you. " Anne said trying to smile but couldn't since she was so worried.

"Hey Anne, how is he doing?" Nick asked softly, not wanting to wake Roger.

" He's still in pain but not as much as he was when I entered the room. I think me being here is helping him relax. " Anne said softly. " Thank you for allowing me to see him. " She added not wanting to leave and was worried how Roger might be prosecuted even though she herself hadn't been.

"I've been in a meeting with several leaders, trying to talk sense into them. If Roger turns over any and all information that he remembers from his time in HYDRA, then they won't press charges on him for treason or anything else. Once he's healed, he'll have to make a choice whether to take that deal or not," Nick said. "Though I am glad to hear that he's doing better," he added.

" Knowing him he will. I can tell he regrets what he did when he was under HYDRA's control. How the hell were they able to?" She asked in a low angry tone. " I just hope that we can start up where we left off. " Anne said since she had been looking forward to dinner with Andrea. Though she now could look forward to dinner with Andrea and Skye.

"That's all I wanted to say, as well as to see how he was doing," Nick replied before leaving the room.

Andrea couldn't get back to sleep but decided to text Skye having a feeling her sister might be feeling the same way. She also knew that this this peace would soon be changing to a battle but didn't like thinking like that.

Skye heard her phone going off and wondering who was texting her so late. Seeing that it was her sister, she wondered what was up.

" Are you have an odd feeling that dad is alive?" She had texted feeling guilty about texting so late.

"I am," she texted back.

" Do you think we can see him. I know he might not know who we are but I never dreamed this day would happen. " Andrea texted back. " I know if he knows who he is, he'll be happy to see us both. " She added and didn't know who to talk to.

Roger dreamed fitfully and woke up with a start. " Morning sweetheart. " He said to Anne when he saw she was still by his bed. He could see how happy Anne was to hear those two words from him. He had always said that to both his girls in the morning and hoped he could say that to Skye soon.

"I would like to go meet him, but he's most likely sleeping right now. We can see him in the morning I bet, if we ask," she texted back. Skye seriously hoped that her sister was right about that last statement of hers. It was one of her greatest fears as a child...her parents alive but giving her up since they didn't want her. True her fears had been relieved thanks to her mother and sister, but still...

"Morning sleepyhead," she said with a light giggle, just like she use to when he woke up. She was glad to see that he still remembered the small quirks that they had as a family and wondered if it was possible if he could see his daughters or not. She would have to ask Nick, especially since Roger was technically their prisoner at the moment.

" I hope we can too. See you in the morning,sis." Andrea texted before turning her phone off. She closed her eyes in hope that they would be able to see their dad tomorrow.

Roger gave a small smile." Did you have to beat up anyone in order to see me? "He asked knowing he was a prisoner. He dreaded what the council was thinking of doing to him once he recovered but no matter what he would cooperate fully.

"See you in the morning sis," Skye texted back.

"No, I didn't, but Natasha did ask for a spar with me later..." she said with a light grin.

" Black Widow you mean? I fought her several times and barely made it out. Clint's going to kill me when he finds out I'm alive. " Roger said. He hated it that he had once been fighting those he had worked with and hoped they would accept him back.He knew Clint had for some reason been working for Loki the previous year since his division of HYDRA had been contacted. Though Roger had refused that was when his mind began to fight the control he had been under." Promise me we'll spar once things clear up. I have a feeling you know more than I do now. " He said still wondering about Anne being a Time Lady. " Anne do you think there's still a chance we can look for your parents. I've read that file dozens of times and I still feel there is more to the story. " Roger said knowing HYDRA had wanted The Dark Lady as an ally only to betray her.

"The very same, and we'll definitely spar after you get out of that bed. I can't have the husband of the "Dark Lady" be captured so easily, can I?" she teased.

"No you can't. " Roger said with a smile and saw the nurses at the door. He really didn't want Anne to leave him, but knew she would be back. Roger was feeling better than he had yesterday and wondered what sort of medical tech SHIELD had compared to 9 years ago.
