Andrea had an odd feeling Agent Ward was keeping something from them but wouldn't say anything for her sister's sake. " Maybe I'm just tense because of HYDRA being around. " She thought to herself.

"Something wrong Andrea?" Leanna asked as she saw Ward helping Anne bring food to the table.

"Just an odd feeling." Andrea said not wanting to be right about Grant.

Leanna nodded, figuring that she would ask Andrea once they were alone.

Skye was glad that everyone was having a good time and that Grant was here. She had a good feeling about this relationship but had a feeling that it was too good to be true.

Ward knew that he would eventually have to 'change' sides, and knew that it would devastate Skye once he did. He really did wish he could tell her, but knew that he couldn't.

"Who's ready for dessert?" Anne asked glad that dinner had gone well. She had a feeling that things would change in the future but couldn't see when they did.

Andrea and Leanna agreed to desert, though Ward politely declined the offer. He did ask if it was possible for a decaf though.

Anne nodded and got Ward the decaf." Would you like sugar or milk?" She asked.

Andrea served the cake that her mom had made earlier.

"Milk, please and thank you," Ward responded as Skye's sister served slices of cake to Skye and the others.

Anne gave Ward the coffee after pouring the milk and sat down. She ended to somehow figure out why everyone seemed so tense. " I just hope it isn't HYDRA. It's bad enough that they are back but what if there are agents in SHIELD?" She thought to herself. " Hope everyone had a good time. " Anne said with a smile.

Ward could sense the tension in the air and hid the frown on his face behind the cup of coffee. He had a feeling that the great demon Loki would attack at the same time that Hydra went back into the Light. The only reason he knew about all of this was because of Rodger. "I did. Thank you ma'am," he replied.

" How about you Leana?" Roger asked with a smile. He was happy both his girls had someone that cared about them and didn't want to see anyone hurt.

"I had a good time, and I thank you for having me," Leanna replied. Dinner was very enjoyable.

" I did as well. " Ward said and knew he would have to leave soon.

"I'm glad to hear that, from both of you," Anne said with a smile, glad that her family and their friends had a good time.

"Thank you again. I should be heading back. Skye, Coulson said you could stay here with your family if you wanted. " Ward said knowing that this family might be torn apart again if HYDRA wanted either Skye or Andrea.

"Thanks. You don't mind if I do, would you?" Skye asked her senior officer.

" Don't mind at all. " Ward said with a smile and said goodbye. He hated it that he had to join HYDRA because of his own SO.

Skye nodded. "Thanks," she said with a grin.

(Think Rodger would want to talk to Ward, knowing about his secret mission?)

Roger wanted to talk to Ward about something knowing there were a few double agents in SHIELD's ranks. He wasn't looking forward to when everything feel apart since he was feeling it would be his fault.

Ward saw Rodger follow him outside. Once they were out of the hearing range of the others Ward turned towards the man. "Sir?" he asked.

( she was briefly mentioned in Avengers. )

" Agent Ward, is everything alright? You seemed tense during dinner. You can trust me with what you say. " Roger said. He wanted to stop HYDRA before things got bad and knew Nick needed to know this information soon.

Grant sighed softly, knowing that he could trust Rodger with the information that he was about to give. "I'm a double agent for HYDRA, my original mission was to get Coulson to initiate Skye into SHIELD as an agent before taking her to meet with Alexander Price. Not only is she an infallible hacker, but she also has her powers over time," he admitted. "But after getting to know her...I can't put her in that type of danger, nor do I want to. The only thing is...if she finds out, she's going to hate me forever, and I don't know if I can live with that."

( that scene was sad. I do hope there is a season 2. ABC better be nice to Joss Whedon. )

" Of course she will hate you. I know that soon HYDRA is going to go forward with the plan by using The Winter Soldier. Can I trust you that you won't repeat what I say next?" Roger asked knowing that he needed Ward's help in a way.
