"So we just wait until Skye and the others contact us?" Leanna asked.

" That would be the best. " Maria said knowing Skye's sister and parents were concerned.

Andrea had kept quiet feeling something was wrong. The last thing she wanted was to lose her sister.

"Whatever happens, I won't let anything happen to you," Leanna whispered. She took the codename "Shadow" for two reasons after all.

Andrea nodded hoping she wouldn't be taken. " I just am very concerned about Skye." She whispered as they went over a possible course of action.

"Why are you worried for her?" the Doctor asked, curious. "She can take care of herself, right?"

" I know she can take care of herself, but she's my younger sister. I don't want to lose her again. " Andrea said.

Anne looked down. " When Andrea was three she was kidnapped for a few weeks. In that time I found out I was pregnant with Skye. Roger and I made a terribly difficult desision to put her up for adoption and give her a chance at a normal life, even though we didn't know how difficult things would be for Skye. "

"I see...I think," the Doctor replied. He may not have had a sibling, but he had seen it enough times by now to know the general gist of it and it all usually boiled down to 'Do not mess with my family' "Instead of running the risk of Skye being kidnapped, you may the hard choice any mother has to make: giving her up for adoption."

Anne nodded." I also had to make sure Andrea could defend herself. At that age she didn't know she had abilities. Now that she does have them all that training will help."

"Mom is right. I hated all that training as a child but I understand now why it was important for me to learn how to fight. "Andrea said not wanting to be captured.

"That makes a little sense. Though why would you train Andrea yet not Skye?" Natasha asked, wondering what their thinking process was like. Though Black Widow didn't realize that Leanna was thinking the same thing.

" We wanted Skye to have a normal life with a family not connected to SHIELD. Thankfully she's doing well with her training with Coulson and his team.

Skye didn't like this mission at all. Not only had she not fought many HYDRA agents it seemed like someone was controlling them. " Coulson everything is clear at the moment want me to continue on?" She radioed in and had a feeling someone was watching her from a distance.

"You're clear to continue Skye," Coulson said.

" Copy that. I'm aprroching somthing odd. Like a barrier of somekind. " Skye said and saw the barrier was like glass but seemed to move. " I don't like this thing one bit and don't want to know who's on the other side since this looks like that Dark Water stuff. " She said knew Fitz and Simmons had debated on wheather dark water was possible or just a product of science fiction.

"A Barrier?" Coulson asked, unsure as to what Skye was exactly seeing.

" But it reflects. I mean I can see myself in the barrier. But it can't be here can it? Since this hallway is supposed to be longer right?"Skye asked and got a very bad feeling all of a sudden. Almost like someone worse than those HYDRA agents was close.

The Doctor was tense as they discussed their plans. He knew Skye was in terrible danger and that it wasn't HYDRA agents they were dealing with. " Agent Hill? Is it possible to contact Agent Coulson? I feel we need to warn his team. "

"It's possible to do so Doctor," Agent Hill said before handing him a phone. "With that one, you only need to press the green button on it and it will connect with one other person. That phone connects to where Coulson is at the moment" she explained.

The Doctor nodded and had the phone receiver in one hand and pressed the green button with his other one. He just hoped he wasn't too late.

Coulson heard the phone ringing and quickly picked it up.

" Hello Agent Coulson? This is The Doctor speaking. Has anyone reported any unusual occurrences ?" He asked and was worried.

" Doctor this is Jemma SImmons. Yes, Skye just reported an unusual barrier that she compared to dark water, but I feel might be a reflective chemical barrier." Simmons said having been signaled buy Coulson to listen in.

"Explain this 'Dark Water' to me, please" the Doctor requested.

" Well in this universe it exists as a mirror like substance but that's only a theory. Where in your universe supposedly it only shows organic matter. What if this barrier Skye is seeing is both combined to make this organic like barrier she is seeing?" Jemma said wishing she was there to take a look. " Is Skye still at the barrier?" Simmons asked Coulson.

"She is," Coulson replied.

" Skye take a small sample with a stick or something and get out of there. " Jemma said feeling that something awful was on the other side. " I have a feeling that barrier leads somewhere else and it isn't a good place. "

"It most likely does," the Doctor replied. "But that is something a time lady such as Skye should not attempt it," he replied.

" What should I do then?" Skye said and didn't like this feeling at all.

"Do as your commander asks and then get out of there" the Doctor said, knowing that Skye could hear him.
