@Elysium: I just like Tobey MacQuire Spiderman. He's much more relatable and down to Earth. I guess I say that as a nerd who grew up being bullied and all that but...he still is a more down to Earth person than the new Spidey. I don't like Garfield. I can only tolerate his face in The Social Network but that's only because of David Fincher.

I forgot the Muse song they used in Twilight. I always had a preference towards Knights of Cydonia. My favorite all time song by them. None of their other songs can match up to that song. NONE. Not a single one.

Tobey had a heart though. It became obvious if you watched the film. He did what he did and he made mistakes. Some bit him in the ass and others he learned from in order to change himself for the better. New Spiderman just simply doesn't teach stuff like that. Though, my love of the older Spiderman is tainted with the funny jokes from the youtube poop and the Honest Trailer of the trilogy.

My professor said this semester that there are no coincidences in good story telling. That just blew my mind, but it's so utterly true.

My toes....well, they aren't short but the nails do have a lovely shade of lilac purple on them for the time being.

Good storytelling comes from life experiences and a good idea of a fantasy. You need to mix both in order to get something good.

@ Cole with the work i'm doing now, I don't need it, and i've experimented with premier and i'm not keen, I did use Vegas movie studio for a while and I think that will be the one I use when I get more adventurous, right now though the simplicity of movie maker fits with the simplicity of the film if I were to go hitech with the film at the moment it would detract from the power of the imagery. - i'll send you a wip a little later, either when i'm at college or home.

Exactly :) I mean even as a fine artist I don't get half of contemporary art and there are some artists that give art a bad name for all of us, but if you can explain your ideas and be fluent about it and not be a cocky a hole, then pretty much anything goes. :)

@elysium. Most courses here are three year, more complex degrees like medicine and architecture can be up to seven.
Then of course you have your masters and phd after that.
I'm just finishing my second year of a three year course. :)

@East: Well, if that works for you then i'm not going to talk you down from using it. Use it if you feel you're more productive that way. I happen to use Premiere before I am trained on it and I have certifications with the program. So i'm kind of biased entirely about it. And please do. I really want to see it.

Yep. Art is weird like that. But it only works for art because every aspect of it has parts where things could be considered out of the norm but the artist does it in a way that it might as well just seems normal. It's why I don't mind weird student films happen despite being all kinds of funny and also could happen despite weird things.

English girl has talent. Especially for the first foray into some kind of filmmaking. Understand film better than I did when I was younger and experimenting with video creation. Of which I also used Movie Maker then. Think some of my older work is still up on Photobucket. It's horrible.

Not at all, its all about the silence, when exhibited it would be projected large scale in a dark room that limits the senses meaning the focus of the film is intense. Thats one of the reasons why the film is slow because the silence really sink into you as the gravtias from uerstanding builds. Plus they'll be the natural white noise of a project/computer/human signs which all add to the experience.

Text could be a little slower in that video. It's too quick for someone to read if you're going to exhibit it. Extend it by another 3 seconds for each slide of text. Should be a decent amount of time and won't be gone in a flash.
