Although I should be used to it by now. People thinking I'm younger than I actually am is something that happens commonly. Although this is the first time someone has jumped to the conclusion that I'm a freshman. lol

When I was a freshmen someone jumped to the conclusion I was like...30 or something. I think it was because I was standing next to my father at the time, but I was like...mmmmkay. I'm just hoping I stop aging for awhile.

Yeah, I keep being told that I'll appreciate it. Haha! I keep going "Well when will that be?" I'm only in my mid 20's now.

Your school is too poor. Mostly every building has Macs in them with some having also PC rooms. Alot of buildings also have Macs out in the open for use along with printers for easy access.

You can get those cookies at my favorite cookie place in my college town by special order but their cookies alone are worth it. I never get their daily special but I always get double chocolate chip cookies due to my addiction with them. Always order at least 10 that lasts at least 3 days due to my love of them.

@Cloud: Yeah, having a baby face is hard when you're younger. When I was in high school there was a student teacher, and the first time I saw him I was like: "CAN I DATE IT?" And then I walked into class and he was teaching and I was like...."shit." But he didn't get any respect from students...because, like I said, he looked like one.

I think a lot of it is how I act and dress. When I get mistaken for being older I'm definitely not wearing one of my punkier or Gothic outfits and I'm probably acting as mature as I can for some reason or another.

@Cole: Nah, my school just uses all of its money on renovations that nobody wants. The library does rent out Mac laptops though. The library was also completely renovated recently. XP You can't take a step without avoiding construction.

@Ely: My school is demoing approximately half of my campus and building useless things. They're too cheap to renovate the frats/sorority housing so they're demoing it and building news ones. They're also expanding the Student Union, demoing the Admin building which is where my College is housed, and building an archway to make it the new "center of campus" alongside some other shit. Not to mention they're currently renovating the Rec Center alongside building a new building to house some criminal justice program. Being that none of the buildings on campus make no sense, I expect the layout to be random as hell on the interior.

It is a divine cookie. Every single one. The gooeyness of the chocolate chips alongside the amazing chocolateness of the dough of the cookie. Mmmmm....so wish I had money to order from them before the semester ends.

Rec Center was renovated the year before I got at my school, but the student union is currently completely demoed and they're spending a freaking unholy amount of money building a football stadium that nobody wants because our football team couldn't win a game against a freaking ant colony. What they are refusing to renovate are the classrooms and it's really irritating.

We have a nice football stadium because I go to a Division 1 college. Alot of our buildings have been renovated or demoed in prep for something new or different. Alot of my campus keeps getting touched and there's a mix of old and new buildings. I believe by the time I graduate is when most of the buildings I know will be gone.

I had to look up what a division 1 college was because I could not care less about sports.

My school is also a mix of new and old buildings. They do not demo the super old buildings, and I'm glad of that because they're gorgeous. The old 70s buildings get done in, though, and I'm perfectly fine with seeing those hideous things go.

Nuuu, I would rather lose than gain weight, so don't tempt me. :P

Ely: My college is the 2nd Ohio college down on the list of Division 1 schools on Wikipedia.

I live across from buildings from the 70s. They're the science buildings. Consists of 4-5 separate buildings and each hold a different department of sorts depending on the math or sciences.

I'm not doing anything to tempt you at all.

@Cloud: I'm sorry you're allergic to makeup. XP I can't wear things that aren't non comedogenic, or anything with a bunch of fragrance in it or it'll screw up my skin. Makeup's not all it's cracked up to be, though. It's a pain in the butt to keep up and I don't wear a ton of it either.

@Cole: Ahh, I've heard of that college in passing. Our states are so far away that our teams have never played each other, though. At least as far as I would know. Seems like the wrong conference.

The science buildings here are new. I think my school is trying to go for being a STEM school.

You talked about cookies with me, so that was enough.

Elysium: Oh, it's fine. Don't be sorry. There is a list of things I can't have either, and have to be careful about. But it's better that, than have to deal with my body deciding to rebel against me.
Especially when one is around horses all the time like I used to be, make up isn't worth it when all you're going to do is be in the dust, and all that. :P

@Cloud: Luckily I have a pretty resilient body and a lot doesn't bother me, but I get acne if I so much as think about leaving makeup on at night. I have to constantly douse myself in acne meds, I swear. Not because of the makeup, but because my skin likes to be oily.

Oh, for sure, I never wear makeup when I'm doing grungy stuff. I never got the concept of putting makeup on to go out and play with horses or something. "Beach makeup?" Please.

@Cole: My college is popular college. Probably second most popular in the state. It's trying to compete with the other colleges statewide, though, because the other colleges ARE STEM colleges.

Mine refers to my wavy hair. :) It's an 'M' because that's the first letter of my first name, and goes down signifying my hair. :)

I'm a Deaf Studies Major concentrating in Deaf Cultural Studies major. And it's an amazing culture, and I love it. Plus, it gives me a quiet environment, as I don't handle noise very well. Plus I love the language. I really don't have a set reason for it, it just feels right. :)

@Cloud: Ooh, I like that. It reminds me of a waterfall the way I picture it.

Well, that's good enough reason to do it, right? Most people do things because they think they're supposed to rather than because they want to.

@Ely: It blows because my department is getting major cuts after this semester which pisses me off. The College of Arts and Sciences always gets the most cuts here for some odd reason with the arts side getting the most out of them all. Not to mention my college has more general education classes than need be.

@Cole: Meh, the arts always get cut no matter where you are. It's bull. When I was in high school I worked as an editor on the yearbook for many years, and in my senior year the principal took ALL the computers that we used to create the yearbook on. Would not replace them or the programs on them (like CS5 and photoshop). I still wonder to this day if the school has a yearbook anymore. >.>
