Ya I didn't like Littlefinger when he betrayed Ned, but I am glad he got Sansa out of King's Landing despite killing the knight that rescued her. I'm not to fond of the Lannisters except for Tyrion although I can't really relate to him. Danaerys I really like and it was sad when she lost Khal Drogo. I prefer the Starks to but so many of them died that theres not much of a House Stark anymore.

I gots do some filmmaking stuffs in like half an hour. Have to go to my colleges Student Union for a club and help a friend record some for interviews for a doc we're working on about a local convention that takes place at the campus every spring semester of each college year. We have to interview the club on campus that organizes and runs the con. If you have any guess then it's the local Anime Club. I've never been to a meeting and I don't ever want to go to one. I don't hate people to watch anime but Anime Club is mostly the far extremes of anime goers.

I'm editing it, of course. And no ones getting final say on anything till I polish it and it's no longer a rough cut.

Littlefinger doesn't have a single good intention in his body, at least that's my current opinion on him.

There's that weird wildling uprising going on, too. I'm a bit lost on what the hell is going on there, but I know that that's going to cause a huge problem soon enough.

---------- Post added 04-25-2014 at 06:46 PM ----------

I'm an anime fan myself, but ya there are some nutters in the animeverse. I've seen people who've seen 1000 plus animes and I'm like...wtf? I've watched the stuff on and off for ten years and I've only seen 80.

@Elysium: With Littlefinger, there's always some other motive for what he does. Never just does something. He does it if it gains him something and that's it. It's why i'd never associate with a person like that especially if he'd manipulate me and throw me under the bus when it suits him.

And yeah, there's some crazy nuts anime freaks. I've been around a few. My friends girlfriend is crazy obsessed. I don't mention it but yeah. I just haven't had a chance to get back into anime. It's that I don't have the time atm nor do I want to spend the hours on it. I'm more a movies/video games guy. That's one way to my heart. Movies or video games. Both is a plus.

Righto. I've known a few manipulative people in my life. Not of Littlefinger's caliber, but I've known them. I stop giving them the time of day when I figure out that they're manipulative little shits. Anyway, I'm figuring he's planning on marrying her himself or using her as ransom for something.

Haha, awh. What kinds of animes does she watch? I stopped watching anime for years myself but got back into it because I've been taking some time off the last few months because I was so burnt out. I watch a few episodes on the weekends, mostly. I thought they were putting out shit anime for awhile but then Shingeki no Kyojin came out and I was like . Had to see it.

Anyway, I like movies and video games, too. As you know from my Skyrim rants over in the computer and gaming forum. I don't watch too, too, many movies, but if it's super hero related I'm on it like butter on toast. That or if it's a nonfiction movie like 12 Years a Slave or The King's Speech. Unf. I loveeee those movies.

Yeah, that'd be a good possible conclusion as to what he's attempting to use her for. I know he'll use her. He has to. It's the type of character that he is.

I don't care to remember because I don't really talk to her and I only really see her every so often I hang out with my friend. Which hasn't been too much as of late. Last time was 2-3 weeks ago. Haven't talked to him since then but I still haz summer and next year for that. He's a cool friend. I like him. We joke around alot.

What Superhero movies do you watch? Is it more of Marvel and/or DC? I'm more of a Marvel fan. I really like the Cinematic Universe. It's my favorite. Alongside that, 12 Years A Slave was an amazingly beautiful film. I can't give it anymore high regards than that. It's just...wow...that film can tear at your heart strings. That film actually made me cry a little when I watched it because of how sad it was. Films like that always get to me because it's so true to life in so many aspects that you really start to feel for those characters.

I was surprised to see him take her, though. That was not something I was expecting.

Ah, yeah, college can keep you from seeing people as much as you'd like. And sorry, thought I read "my girlfriend" the first time I read that paragraph so that question was a bit odd.

I am more of a Marvel fan. I love Thor, Spiderman, and Iron Man. I have not liked most of DC's heroes. Superman's alright. I think the recent revamp of the series was good. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy looks weird as heck, though. On a related note I'm a huge fan of the current Star Trek movies.

Yeah, I love those types of movies because they are about something that has actually happened. Fiction is all fine and dandy, but I like to see stories of what humanity has actually accomplished. It improves the faith-in-humanity meter a tad.

Excatly. Such a major twist.

Me? Girlfriend? Ha! Not likely.

Guardians of the Galaxy looks so weirdly good. I kind of don't like the new Star Trek movies. I grew up watching lots of Star Trek and I am specifically biased towards the TNG set of movies. Specifically in the range of the movies of First Contact, Generations, and Insurrection being my favorite Trek films. The new ones are...alright...

I like things that are based upon true stories or have an element of truth to them. My favorite movie of 2013 was Ron Howards Rush because it had two protagonists who both had elements that I related to. They all were totally different in each regard but they all raced because they wanted to be regarded as champions of the world. Something that at the time was risky to even attempt to get due to how F1 was then and the lack of safety.

Someday, someday.

The characters in Guardians look super strange to me so I'll reserve judgment for that one till I see it.

I can respect your Trek views. I love them because I was never an original Trekkie. I'm sure they're just like an imitation Elvis to you.

Haha, I just saw Rush last week. It was definitely a good movie. Being able to relate to movies is the best. I didn't really have one of those this last year, unfortunately. I was quite fond of the new Great Gatsby, though. I've always been able to relate to Gatsby and I adore Leonardo DiCaprio.

I believe you.

If it's not strange then it's clearly not a good movie.

Yeah, the TNG movies were one of my favorite set of movies. First Contact being my all time favorite due to the existence of the Borg and how everything in that movie revolves around them. Used to scare me at one point but i've seen the movie a million times now that it doesn't.

I have a Rush promo poster hanging up in my dorm room. I love the movie that much. I've seen it quite alot since I saw in in theatres. It was amazing for me. My mind was blown. Was such a treat. Too bad Leo isn't getting any Oscar any time soon. xD

I'll only agree with you because Avatar looked strange as hell and turned out to be a good movie.

Haha, I'm sorry the Trek references go a little over my head. But I get that. I've seen the first three Pirates of the Caribbean movies so many times it's pathetic. They weren't really scary of course, but I can sit there and repeat the actor's lines without thinking.

Very nice. I haven't had a movie that I loved that much in awhile. The recent Great Gatsby was close (first movie I'd bought in years) but the last movie I loved that much was probably ten years ago.

I also am kind of digging Chris Pratt atm even if he's going to be in like every movie now.

Sorry for that! My bad.

I still haven't seen Gatsby yet. I want to see it but I don't know when i'll get to. Hopefully soon. I've seen so many gifs from it though that it's on my list. My long long list of films that I need to see.

Looking at IMDB, looks like he's already been in every movie. XD

Don't worry about it, lol.

I think I liked it so much because I absolutely loathed the version of Gatsby with Robert Redford. I gave this Gatsby a try because I love DiCaprio (give him a freaking Oscar already damn it). Anyway, I ended up adoring it. I love extravagant things and that movie was nothing if it wasn't extravagant.

True. True...

I will worry about it. You don't control me!

Extravagant movies. What's an extravagant movie to you? I just want to know so I understand what type of films you really like. I'm interested in what movies you really tend to gravitate to.

Fine, be that way. XD

Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables (not my fave, but an example), Mulan Rouge, are all movies I like that are the same kind of extravagant to me as Gatsby. The first three Pirates movies are similar but not quite. I like decadent sets and romantic subplots a lot.

I will. :)

Typical. You like rom coms probably too. :P Anything else? Or is that just the general gist of the type of movies you like?

I like alot of stuff. I like docs to musicals. One of my favorite movie musicals has to be Repo! The Genetic Opera. There's something awesome about that movie. Not to mention that it also depicts a really really messed up society. Like really messed up but the rock music soundtrack is awesomely addicting.

Actually, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. I absolutely loathe rom coms. I would rather poke my eyes out than sit through one.

I watch documentaries a lot, and like I said earlier my favorite movies are things like The King's Speech, The Help, The Butler, 12 Years a Slave, The Secret Life of Bees. I do love those extravagant movies I mentioned, but they're only a drop in the bucket.

I don't like Repo, but then I don't like horror movies to begin with. Too gruesome for me. How I love shit like 300 then I won't ever know, because it's just as gruesome but I could live and breathe those movies. Chopping someone's head off with a sword? I'm all for it.

I also really want to get into watching some more old black and white movies. I haven't seen nearly enough.

I was joking, my lady. :) I hope you didn't think I was serious. Sorry if it came off that way.

Chopping someones head off with a sword? Like Ned Starks head? :P

Oh, there's some great black and white films. What movies have you seen so I can send some good ones your way?

Haha, it's alright. I didn't think you were serious, but I still had to defend myself from the atrocity of being labeled as a rom com addict.

Pfffft. I have grieved over Ned already so your words cannot hurt me.

I really haven't seen that many yet, but I know I'd like to see more. I've seen some of the classics like Singin' in the Rain, Citizen Kane, and Casablanca. I've seen most of Audrey Hepburn's movies and Clark Gable's. I've barely touched the top of the iceberg yet.

Rom...com...addict. Elysium admitted it!

Oh? You sure? :P

I'm glad you've at least seen Singin' in the Rain and Citizen Kane. Both those films from a production standpoint are two unique beasts. So is most films back in the day because of how their standards are. Citizen Kane, of course, being an amazing film. You seen any of Charlie Chaplin at all or no? Definitely see Gold Rush by Chaplin. Him at his prime before the Hollywood Blacklist.

---------- Post added 04-26-2014 at 05:53 PM ----------

Gold Rush Trailer

Chaplin is a good person. Too bad he got blacklisted by Hollywood. Luckily he still went on and made films after that.

Nuuuuuuuu. Okay maybe with anime. >.>

Yes, I'm sure, I am still grieving over Khal Drogo though, so don't go there. And Robb. My baby.

I have not seen a lot of Chaplin, unfortunately. I love slapstick comedy so it's really a shame. I also love Chaplin as a human being. Such a great person.

I could watch Singin' in the Rain a million times over. I walk around singing the title song for that all the time. I appreciate Citizen Cane for its great story telling. It is so hard to write something of that magnitude.

You admitted it! You did! *victory dance*

All your favorites die. GRRM makes sure of it.

Definitely watch Gold Rush when you get a chance. I also recommend Metropolis and The Bicycle Thieves for starters to get out there. These are all iconic films in their own right. They deserve some love and Bicycle Thieves is just so sad.

Alrighty then. I have heard of Metropolis but not The Bicycle Thieves. Sounds like I am going to need a box of tissues.

The Bicycle Thieves is a film about the importance of a job in a time of economic turmoil. The importance of being able to make a decent wage. And it all goes downhill....

WHAT? *sobs in corner over rom com anime*

Meh, he said the ending was going to be bittersweet. With him I have no idea what that means.

Sounds a little bit like they need to remake it as a documentary of the current time, although it is getting better.
