Gemini smirked back, and shook the other woman's hand. It's a deal, Hellcat-chan." She said. "Well, I should probably go. I need a bath, and some serious relaxation time." She said, this time with a genuine smile. She waved as she made her way to where the sand siblings were. "Sorry about that, I had some business to take care of." She said to the three as she approached them.

The second Gemini had walked away from Yugito Naruto approached her. "Hey, Kitty-chan, what was that about? She didn't threaten you, did she? That's just the kind of thing Gemini-chan would do, dattebayo. She's really protective, but she means well. You two aren't upset with each other now, are you?"

"Business?" Temari asked once the girl was within hearing range once again, quite curious as to what she had in store with the blonde girl from Kumo. "Also, I'm surprised that you showed your true form to everyone hear in Konoha Gem-chan," Temari added as Gaara nodded as well. He was concerned for her, remembering what her father had told her.

"Have fun with your Raccoon, Vixen-chan," Yugito said with a light smirk, knowing that she could hear her from that distance before Naruto approached her. "Just a friendly wager Foxy-kun, that's all, and no, I'm not upset with her" she replied with a light grin on her face. She also wanted to enjoy a nice bath and some relaxation, especially now that she had two hotel rooms technically to herself now that her teammates were dead.

Gemini just smirked. "I just wanted to talk to Yugito-chan. I'll explain more later." She said, waving her hand nonchalantly. Her ear twitched as she heard Yugito's words after her, and blushed a little, then cleared her throat. "I will be leaving my ears and tail fully exposed from here on out. I promised my father that I wouldn't hide anymore." She said proudly. "Now, why don't we all go and get cleaned up, then I'll show you around like I promised, Gaara-san."

Naruto scratched his head in confusion. "A wager? Well, as long as you're not gonna be enemies or anything, dattebayo." He said with a shrug. "Ne, Kitty-chan, let's get outta here. We can get cleaned up, and I'll take you out for ramen just like I said." He offered, placing his arms behind his head, relaxed.

Temari quickly elbowed her brother in the side from making a snide comment. She just knew that if she didn't then Kankuro would have said something about it being a date of some sort. "Well then I'm glad that you decided on that, and I'm sure your true father will be proud of you as well," the daughter of the Kazekage said with a light smile. "And I also like the idea of cleaning up, though I don't feel like celebrating honestly..." she admitted. In fact, she was going to check on the Genin friend of Gemini's...hopefully she didn't cause any lasting harm by that final attack of hers, Gemini's tongue lashing at that made her feel guilty.

"Nope, not enemies Foxy-kun," Yugito said with a light grin on her face. 'He looks so relaxed... she thought, following him. "Now that's a plan I can get behind," she said with the grin still on her face while debating about asking if she could crash at his place during the next month. Sure, she could stay in the hotel room that she previously stayed at with her ex-teammates, but she had a feeling that the bad memories there would just make her have nightmares, or memories of being trapped in the rooms there.

Gemini tilted her head, not missing the note of guilt in the wind mistress's tone. She didn't say anything about it, though, deciding she had already said enough. "Right, then let's go. I'm covered in blood and desperately need a bath." She said, headed for the exit.

Naruto was able to get back to the village rather quickly. "Kitty-chan? I was thinking, now that both of your team mates are gone...instead of wandering around some unneeded hotel rooms, why don't you stay with me?" He asked, a little nervously.

"I think we could all use one actually," Temari said as she added her two cents in. "I also think that today and tomorrow we should relax before starting to train for our respective matches," she added as she and the others walked with Gemini.

"I agree nee-chan," Gaara said. While he knew that it would be easier for him to start training tomorrow, it would be nice to actually enjoy a village where he didn't have to worry about looking over his shoulder every second. While he trusted his sand shield, he also knew it's limits and weaknesses.

Yugito kept close to Naruto and while she could take care of herself, it seemed as if he knew a quicker route out of this insane forest. Seeing the gates in front of them, she let out a sigh of relief as they crossed the gates, finally able to be out of that forest, silently vowing that she would never step foot inside there again if she could help it. Hearing Naruto's question, she blushed crimson, matching what Hinata would look like from time to time. "I was actually thinking about asking you that myself," she admitted. "But to answer your question...yes."

Gemini nodded. "There's no way I'm training today, after that fight. I'm beat. Besides, I've been training all week. I'll start tomorrow." She agreed. They made it back to the village without incident. "Okay, Gaara-san, I'm going to Naruto-kun's place to shower. You want to come with me, so we can just go after?" She asked, not looking forward to the time when she would have to go back to her little bridge to sleep under.

Naruto grinned, a genuine thousand-watt smile. "I guess great minds think alike, dattebayo. Alright, let's head back to my place then! We can get cleaned up and then I'll take you to the best ramen place in the whole village!" He exclaimed, seeming to have just as much energy as always, despite his recent battle.

"I'll come with you, as long as Naruto-san doesn't mind," he stated, knowing that training wouldn't be happening today. And even if he could go, it didn't mean that he had to train everyday. That way it would be easier for him to take a shower and then go with her on a walk around the village. It made more sense then having her come back to his hotel.

Temari could sense Gemini's depression and had an idea of what it was about. "Gem-chan...if you want, you can stay with us," she said. She knew it would be hard to talk about the invasion with her around, but she couldn't see a friend in pain, not when she could do something about it.

Yugito laughed lightly at that. "From what I've heard about you, should I take that comment as an insult or a compliment?" she asked teasingly before telling him to lead the way. She knew that she quickly had to find a way to get this seal off of her body, otherwise she would definitely lose the bet she had with Gemini. And that was something she refused to happen.

Gemini nodded. She thought she was hiding her thoughts well, but apparently Temari could see right through her. Her ears twitched and her eyes lit up. "R-really? Do you mean that, Temari-san?" She asked excited even as she was bracing herself for the inevitable punchline. Haha, got you. Of course we don't want you around! Deep down, she knew that's what was coming.

Naruto scratched his head, not understanding what she meant. He shrugged and started leading her towards his apartment. About three minutes into the walk, he stopped in his tracks. "Hey...that was an insult,wasn't it? You were making fun of me, dattebayo!" He shouted, finally realizing the meaning of what she had said.

"Of course I do. Why do you think I wouldn't mean it?" Temari asked, confused. She remembered her telling them that she slept underneath a bridge and knew that it wasn't the best place for her to sleep. "Though I suggest you sleep in my room. Who knows what would happen if you slept with the guys," she added.

Yugito couldn't help it and burst into laughter. Once she got herself under control, she shook her head. "I wasn't insulting you Foxy-kun, I was just teasing, honest," she replied as she followed Naruto to his apartment, not realizing that Gemini was leading Gaara there as well.

Gemini cheered and hugged the wind mistress tightly. "Thank you so, so much!" She yelled happily, letting go. At Temari's next comment, she tilted her head. She looked about as confused as Naruto would. "Well, I know what Kankuro-san would do, and I know I'd make him a woman for it. But Gaara-san wouldn't do anything." She said with absolute conviction.

Naruto pouted. "Yeah, well...as long as it wasn't really an insult..." He said, looking chilish with his arms crossed. Naruto being Naruto, however, he couldn't hold it for too long. "Aw, man, I can't stay mad at you, Kitty-chan!" He said, hugging the blonde kunoichi just as they reached his apartment.

Temari grinned lightly, glad that Gemini was happy.

"I wouldn't do anything..." Kankuro muttered lightly, knowing that she could definitely make good on her threat and didn't want to lose what made him a man.

Yugito blushed lightly as she was hugged, tensing lightly for a few seconds at the human contact before calming, knowing that Naruto wouldn't hurt her, not like that, especially after what he said. "Thanks Foxy-kun," she said with a soft grin on her face as she noticed him stop in front of the building. 'So this is his apartment...'

Gemini chuckled darkly at Kankuro's obvious discomfort, then turned her back on the puppeteer and led Gaara to Naruto's apartment. They got there just in time to see Naruto hugging Yugito out front. Smirking, Gemini waved her arm in greeting. "Hey, Naruto-kun! Yugito-chan! We've got to stop meeting like this." She joked.

Naruto let go and went to get his key when Gemini showed up, followed by Gaara. While he was happy to see Gemini, he eyed the other male with distrust. "Hey, Gemini-chan. You probably came here for a shower, huh? Why'd you bring him?" He asked, opening his door. He wasn't ready to forgive the redhead for hurting Bushy Brow.

"Agreed," Yugito said with a light smirk on her face as she saw Naruto rummaging in his pockets for something, most likely a key. Once he found it, he opened the door and let the others come in, noticing the hostility between Naruto and the redhead, Gaara, if she remembered the name correctly.

"I came here only for a simple shower after Gem-chan offered it to me," Gaara replied honestly. "After that, I can wait outside for her," he added. If it were anyone else, he'd probably already be a blood smear on the wall or in his sand, but since he was Gemini's friend, Gaara would try to act civil.

Gemini stiffened slightly, sensing the tension between the two boys. She sighed, realizing too late that she probably should have thought of this outcome. Of course Naruto would be angry at Gaara. He didn't know. "Now, boys, play nice. Naruto-kun, Gaara-san is my friend, so please at least try to be nice. We'll be gone soon enough." She appealed to the more laid-back of the two. She didn't know how far she could push Gaara, but Naruto she knew she could persuade.

Naruto frowned. He knew he was being played, but there was really nothing he could do about it. He'd never do anything to hurt Gemini. "Fine. Only because it's you asking, Gemini-chan. You know where everything is. But Yugito-chan is going first, dattebayo." He said, bargaining for his cooperation. He knew Gemini would agree- which she did.

Gaara was actually surprised as to how quickly she was able to manipulate Naruto, well, technically manipulate the boy. Though from what she told him and his siblings about her past, he could understand. Hearing that the girl from Kumo got the shower first, he shrugged his shoulders before looking for someplace to sit.

Yugito just watched the exchange happen quietly, not sure if she should interrupt or not. Then again, she was also mentally facepalming between both Naruto and Gaara. She was, however, surprised to hear that she could get the shower first and nodded. "Um...Naruto-kun, can you show me where it is?" she asked.

Gemini nodded decisively, and went to flop herself down on the couch, giving no thought at all to the fact that she was getting blood everywhere. "Oi, Naruto-kun, I'm turning on the T.V. Okay?" She called, not waiting for an answer as she turned on the old television set and flipped the channel. "Ooh, they've got an InuYasha movie on!"

Naruto waved his hand in response to Gemini. He was used to her crashing at his place. She practically lived there- had lived there for a few years, in fact. "C'mon, Yugito-chan. The bathroom's this way. It's a pretty small place, so there's not a lot of room, but there's always hot water." He said, showing the blonde to the bathroom.

Yugito followed Naruto, silently nodding at what he said. Then again, with an apartment, the rooms were usually smaller than most. "Is Gemini-san usually like that Naruto-kun?" Yugito asked. "Sorry if it sounds like I'm prying," she added after a few seconds.

Naruto scratched his head. "No, it's no problem. What do you mean, though? She's always made herself at home here. And she's always manipulating me, if that's what you're asking. But we're almost like brother and sister, so I don't mind, dattebayo." He said.

Gemini was quickly absorbed int he movie. "Gaara-san, why don't you come watch with me? I've already seen all the movies, and I read the series, but it's fun to watch again. See, InuYasha is a half demon, like me, only he's dog instead of fox. It's set in the past. That girl is Kagome, she's from modern times, but she got trapped int he past because..." She continued to explain the storyline as it went to commercial.

"Alright. It just seems as if she's more at peace here rather than earlier when she revealed herself to the public, or in the forest," Yugito replied with a light grin, knowing what it was like. Sometimes Samui could be in one of her moods, especially after hearing comments about her chest.

"It sounds like you're just as much of a fan of InuYasha as nee-chan is," Gaara stated with a light grin as he sat down on the chair next to where she was sitting. "But don't tell her I know about it. She has an image she wants to maintain," he said with a light chuckle, knowing that if he told Gemini about Temari's crush on the wolf demon, then he'd never hear the end of it from his sister.

Naruto chuckled, arms behind his head in a relaxed position. "Yeah, well, she would. Gemini-chan lived here for a few years after I got her away from...that guy." He said, looking like he'd rather drop the conversation now. "Ah, anyway, you go ahead and shower. Let me know when you're done, okay?"

Gemini's ears perked up, and she stared at Gaara. "Wait...really? Temari-san likes InuYasha? I never would have guessed. Don't worry, I won't say anything. Seriously, though, I'd have pegged Kankuro-san more for an InuYasha fan than her." She said with a chuckle as the movie came back on. "Ooh, it's back!"

Yugito winced lightly, noticing that she was treading during a topic that Naruto didn't want to discuss and quickly changing the subject. It was one of her curses as the jinchuuriki to the Nibi no Nekomata, even Matatabi herself admitted to it. She was about to apologize, and would have, if he hadn't told her to go ahead and take her shower and letting him know when she was done. Nodding lightly, she headed into the bathroom, closed and locked the door before turning the water on. Taking off her clothes while she waited for the water to heat up, she wondered what her friends in Kumo were up to before stepping into the shower.

"Kankuro-nii is okay with it, but he likes more action based animes: Full Metal Alchemist, Yu Yu Hakusho, S-cry-ed, Sword Art Online and Gundam. He think Inuyasha is more of a 'romantic soap opera with some action thrown in,'" Gaara replied, chuckling lightly when the vixen exclaimed that it was back. Hearing footsteps echoing from the corridor, he knew that it was only Naruto that was coming back.

(lol. Naruto using the older brother card and giving Gaara the "you hurt her, I'll kill you" speech)

Gemini perked up again. "Ah, I love Yu Yu Hakusho!! I read the whole series! Hiei is wicked cool, and I used to have a little crush on Kurama. When I started at the academy, I actually tried turning roses into whips with my chakra. It never worked, of course, but boy did I try." She said, laughing at her own childhood silliness.

Naruto walked into the living room and sat on the couch next to Gemini. "Hey, what'cha talkin' about? Aw, not InuYasha again! Gemini-chan, how can you stand that Kagome girl? She's so helpless!" Clearly this was an argument the'd had before.

"You always say that, Naruto-kun, but what's your excuse? Sakura-chan is completely useless, and you liked her. At least Kagome can shoot arrows!"

"It's totally different and you know it! And that InuYasha guy isn't even that tough! The whole thing is way too girly."

"Naruto-kun, you have no taste. Just as insensitive as any other man. Anyway, we were talking about Yu Yu Hakusho."

"Oh, now that's a show! Hey...now that I think of it, that little guy, Hiei, kinda reminds me of Gaara-san."

Gemini blinked, then looked at Gaara. "Now that you mention it...it's not that they look alike, but Gaara-san is kinda short, and they're both pretty cold..." She was teasing Gaara now.

(*snickers* I can't help but snicker at the conversation the two are having)

"...Why am I not surprised that you had a crush on Kurama of all people?" he asked in a monotone voice, knowing that it would make Gemini question whether he was teasing her or not. Then again, he wasn't all that surprised. Both Kurama and Gemini were fox demons after all...well, Kurama was technically a reincarnation while Gemini was a hanyou, but those were just details. Once the argument between Naruto and Gemini started about Inuyasha, Gaara wisely kept his mouth shut for two reasons: one he didn't know who this Sakura person was, and two, it seemed as if they had this argument before.

"You also forget that we can kill people we find annoying within the blink of an eye..." Gaara deadpanned. He actually didn't mind being compared to Hiei in that show, especially when the show went into his back story. Now those were some interesting episodes...

Gemini's jaw dropped. "Did you...I can never tell when you're serious. Trust me, I didn't forget that part. I simply chose to exclude it." She said pointedly, crossing her arms.

Naruto shifted,a little uncomfortable with the turn of the conversation. Something about Gaara just gave him the creeps. "Right, well...my favorite was always Yusuke, anyways. He's strong and cool, and always getting tougher." He said, turning the conversation back to safer waters.

Gemini laughed. "Of course you like Yusuke the best. He's the main character, and every bit as cool as you wish you could be." She teased, earning a playful punch on the shoulder. "Oh no you did not just hit me!"

"What are you gonna do about it?" The blonde countered, earning a smack upside the head. Suddenly, the two were in a hitting contest, each punching or slapping the other at any place they could. "Give it up, Gemini-chan, I'm stronger now!"

Gemini smirked and lunged, tackling Naruto and sending them both sprawling tot he floor. She sat on his back, pinning him to the ground effectively by holding one arm behind him. "Pinned ya, fox face! Why do you even try? You never win against me." She laughed before the blonde poofed away, and suddenly she was pinned. "Hey, no shadow clones!!"

Naruto did his best to pin Gemini, cackling mischievously. "Sorry little red, but all's fair in love and war!" He said, pulling on her arm. "Tap out!"

"Never!! And don't call me little red, fox face!!"
