Gaara let out a small chuckle at the girl's antics. He knew that what Gemini said was true when it came to matters of the heart...he just simply didn't know what was going on. Once Hana had finished taking down the vixen's order of pancakes, Gaara asked for french toast combo.

Jiraiya chuckled lightly as he watched his clone interact with the blonde brat that was his godson...though he probably wouldn't admit it for a while. "True, I did. Since I hear that you're decent with the Kyuubi's chakra, I'll move onto something else then," he said as he took the giant scroll off of his back and started to unroll it.

Once Hana had left with their orders, Gemini smiled at Gaara. "It looks like Hana-chan approves of you, Gaara-san. That's a good thing, because if Hana-chan doesn't approve of a guy I bring around, I usually don't see him anymore." She said.

Naruto watched with interest as the old pervert took a huge scroll and started to unroll it. "What's this for, 'tebayo? It looks almost like the scroll I learned the Kage Bunshin from." He said, remembering the apparently forbidden scroll.

"Then I'm glad that she approves of me...Gemmi-chan," he said with a light chuckle. Though he was honestly glad that he passed Hana's test...whatever it was. "So...what would have happened if she didn't approve of me? he asked, curious as to how Gemini would act.

"This is the summoning scroll for the Toad Clan, usually held by one of the toads for people they think are truly worthy. They've let me borrow it so that I can show it to you...and if you want, to sign it. Jiraiya explained. What he left out of the explanation though was that it was because of his father that he was even allowed to take it in the first place.

"And they let a pervert like you bring it into the world? I fear to think what the toads were thinking," Yugito said in a teasing voice, giggling lightly when she saw the small raincloud form over said pervert's head, even if it was a clone. The original Jiraiya had said that she could take a break in order to regain the chakra she lost.

Gemini shrugged. "It's always different, depending on the guy. I've brought four or five guys around here, and they were each run off in a different way. One of them, all she did was crack her knuckles and he wet himself." She laughed. "I knew right then he was a loser. With you, she would probably just warn you to stay away from me. Of course, even if you failed, I'd still hang around with you. Hana-chan can disapprove all she wants, but in the end it's my choice, and I like you too much to just walk away." She said, making it sound totally innocent. She didn't want to give away her true feelings- not yet. Still she wondered how he would react to the fact that she had had a couple suitors before him.

Naruto laughed, but sobered up quickly. "Okay, so it's a summoning scroll. Does that mean if I sign it, I'l be able to summon toads in battle and stuff? Like Kakashi-sensei has those dogs? And Gemini-chan can summon foxes?" He asked curiously. He thought it would be pretty cool to have a summon animal, though he wasn't sure just how effective a toad would be. Still, if a Sannin used them they had to be pretty cool, right?

Gaara was honestly a little surprised that she had boyfriends in the past, though he had a feeling they were all just trying to either backstab her at the best possible time or something else, which he wasn't sure of. His brother would probably know about it more so than he would, but he wasn't going to ask Kankuro about it anytime soon. "I see..." was all that Gaara said in his reply. "And you really would hang out with me still, even if Hana-san didn't approve?" he asked, completely surprised. Though he would also eventually ask about the nickname...

"Exactly what it means, though I honestly thought you would be summoning foxes too, not just your blood sister," Jiraiya replied, completely serious. He thought that with the Kyuubi inside of him, he would have gained the ability to summon foxes, but that was neither here nor there.

Gemini nodded. "Of course. You're a great friend, Gaara-san. Hana-chan would respect that, and even come to realize it after a while. People misjudge you on sight because you look tough, but getting to know you they'd realize that you're really a good guy." She said.

Naruto squinted. "Blood sister? Oh, you mean Gemini-chan. Well, she's actually a kitsune, I'm just holding one. Just 'cause I have Kyuubi in me doesn't mean I am a fox." He said, a little defensively. "Anyway, just show me what to do. Do I sign in blood or something?" He asked, having no clue that he was completely right.

"Thank you," he replied in a soft tone. Most people had assumed that he was a massive killer, and as such, had adopted a mask to fool people with what they wanted to believe. However, after the assassination attempt of his uncle, his mask had become him...it was why he created the tattoo of love permanently etched into his forehead out of the blood and sand of his uncle. "So...how did that nickname come about?"

"Technically the Kyuubi is the boss summon for foxes, so he could give you the contract if he so desires, and actually yeah, that's all you have to. Bite your thumb, sign your name and then press whichever palm you want to use to summon onto the paper." Jiraiya explained, surprised that he knew so much about the technique already, not knowing that Naruto had just guessed.

Gemini giggled and shook her head. "It was her niece. She's a cute little girl, only five years old now. She was just learning to talk, and Hana-chan brought her niece in to visit on her day off. As soon as she saw me, the little cutie yelled "Gemmi!" and it just stuck. Now Hana-chan and her niece both call me that all the time." She explained with a fond smile.

Naruto looked up, surprised. "What? I was just guessing! Jeez, sign it in blood..." He muttered, biting his thumb and signing his name as he was told. Then he pressed his palm to the paper and concentrated hard. There was a puff of smoke, and when he opened his eyes, there on the paper in a circle was...a tadpole. "What the hell?!"

"Can I also assume that she wanted to pet your tail?" Gaara asked, completely out of curiosity after hearing the story. He had to admit that it was kind of cute as to how it came along, though there was no way he was going to tell her that.

"Summoning creatures takes a lot of chakra. Continue practicing for a little longer and you can also try using some of the Kyuubi's chakra as well in order to summon, unlike other shinobi and kunoichi. Just have to keep at it," Jiraiya said. Though while he was practicing summoning, he would have liked Naruto to create a clone or two so that he could continue to work on chakra control.

Gemini looked up, surprised, then smiled. "Actually, she did. And still does every time she sees me. I wonder why you thought about that. Could it be that you want to pet my tail?" She teased.

Naruto frowned. "No way, I want to do this on my own, dattebayo! I don't need Kyuubi for everything!" He said. Naruto was too proud to accept help.

Gaara blushed at the thought of him petting her tail before shaking his head in the negative.

"Up to you. You can train however you want Naruto, but you do have that option to you," Jiraiya responded. He knew that Naruto could do it eventually on his own, and was actually a little proud of his godson for doing as such. "Yugito-chan, do you know what your elemental affinities are?" the real Jiraiya asked the jinnchuriki of the Nibi.

Gemini laughed. "You're blushing! I think you do! It's okay, I'll let you." She said, enjoying teasing him. He's really cute when he's blushing... She thought, fighting back a blush of her own.

Naruto nodded and turned back to the scroll. He tried again, this time putting more chakra into the attempt. He was sure he had gotten it and smiled as the smoke cleared, revealing- a smaller tadpole. "Dammit!! I'm gonna get this if it kills me!!" He shouted, trying again.

"You would?" he asked, surprised.

'He better not kill himself for that!' Yugito thought, annoyed. She knew that it was just an expression, but still.

Gemini nodded. "Of course. Seriously, if I can tolerate Temari-san tugging on my ears the first time she saw them, I definitely won't mind you petting my tail." She said.

Naruto tried five more times, getting a tadpole each time. On his sixth try, he produced a tadpole with legs. He shouted triumphantly. "HA! It's got legs! See, see, right there!"

Gaara chuckled lightly, just seeing Temari wanting to rub her ears."Just make sure that she doesn't call you Inuyasha by mistake," he said with a light grin before seeing Hana coming back with their food.

"Congrats" Jiraiya said truthfully. He still had a long ways to go, but it was a start.

Gemini laughed out loud. "I think I'd have to kill her if she did." She said jokingly, smiling as Hana set their food down in front of them. "Yummy! Thanks, Hana-chan!"

Naruto laughed and jumped up and down, then settled himself down to try again. "Okay, now let's try for four legs instead of two." He said. A half hour later, he had produced nothing but tadpoles, not even with legs. "DAMMIT!!!"

"You're quite welcome Gemmi-chan," Hana said with a grin as she put their food down on the table. She also laid down a piece of paper next to Gemini's plate with the words. 'He's cute, and I approve.'

"You alright gaki, need any tips?" Jiraiya asked.

Gemini glanced at the paper, blushed, crumpled it and shot a playful glare at Hana. "Thank you, Hana-chan." She said, a double meaning behind her words.

Naruto shook his head stubbornly. "No way! I'm gonna get this on my own! I said I would and I will, dattebayo!!" He said, trying yet again. This time it was a toad, but it was almost too small to see.

Hana nodded back, indicating that she heard her 'sister' before going back to serving other customers.

"What about you Yugito-chan? Can you summon anything?" Jiraiya had asked.

Still blushing, Gemini stuffed the note in her pocket and started eating. "Oh I'm in heaven! It's been way too long since I've had this..." She said.

Naruto looked up from his efforts for a moment to see what Yugito's answer would be.

Gaara chuckled lightly before taking a bite of his own food, surprised as to how good it tasted. He had to admit that Gemini knew her spots when it came to food.

"Nibi-chan and I are on good terms, so I can summon some of her clan," she admitted before grinning lightly. "And I know you'll get the technique down without using Kyuubi's Bijuu chakra Foxy-kun," she added.

Gemini finished her breakfast in record time, almost matching Naruto's usual eating speed. Looking at her empty plate, she realized she must have looked like a pig, and blushed. "I didn't realize just how hungry I was..." She said sheepishly.

Naruto grinned. "Thanks, Kitty-chan! At least someone believes in me!" He said pointedly, with a glance at the old man, before going back to what he was doing.

Gaara chuckled lightly before finishing his own breakfast. "It's alright. After events such as those..." he started to say, knowing that Gemini knew what he was talking about.

"Though Ero-sannin does have a point, as much as I hate to admit it," she added with a light smirk as she saw the old man comically have a dark cloud of depression reign over his head.

Gemini went quiet and nodded. "Yeah..." She said distractedly. She didn't want to think about that right then. "So, after breakfast, how about we go do some training?" She said, changing the subject.

Naruto pouted, though he was secretly laughing at the Sannin. After a few more tries, he managed another minuscule toad. But by then he was exhausted. "My chakra's all out. Can we take a break to eat?" He whined. He was sure that once he's eaten, he would do better.

"Training sounds like a good idea," Gaara replied, knowing that he needed to work on the control over his sand and some other tricks so that he could surprise any of his opponents. So far he had been working on taijutsu, but only had the basics down so far.

"Breakfast sounds like a good idea. How about we go to that restaurant you told me about?" Jiraiya asked, knowing that ramen was only good if eaten sparingly. "I'll even pay for the three of us," he added.
