"Then I'll lead the way, Nya~"Yugito said with a light grin on her face. She had seen the sushi stand when she was coming into the stadium with her ex-teammates and had wanted to try it. The idiots, of course, refused since they weren't hungry at the time.

Naruto nodded. "Okay then." He said agreeably, falling into step next to her as they started to walk. He didn't really care where they ate at that point, as long as he got some food fast.

It wasn't long before Yugito parted the flaps to a small stand similar to Icharaku's. Not only did serve Ramen, though not as much as Icharaku's, they also served sushi, among other things as well.

Naruto grinned as they entered. "Oh, I know this place. I've never been in, but I pass by all the time. It's one of the chefs here that ran that sushi stand at the festival last night." He commented.

"Really? Then I think I need to get to know the chef, like you know Teuichi-san and Ayame-san," Yugito replied. She had to admit that the sushi she was able to guy before the Chunin Exam started was a wonderful piece of cuisine.

Naruto nodded. "It's always worth knowing the chef at a restaurant you like. If you're a good customer, you'll even get discounts sometimes!" He said, knowing from personal experience.

Yugito nodded, knowing that it made sense. Sitting down at the counter, she waited for Naruto to sit down before ordering.

Naruto sat down next to Yugito, and let her take the lead. On this date, it was lady's choice. "Order anything you want, it's my treat." He said, feeling that it would only be right. The guy was supposed to pay for things on a date, right?

"You don't have to do that Foxy-kun," Yugito said, having a feeling that he would insist all the same. If that was the case, then she wouldn't abuse the privilege.

Naruto shook his head. "It's no problem, really. I can afford it, and it's a date, so..." He trailed off, starting to wonder if he could afford it. He turned around and pulled out his froggy wallet to see how much money he had. He let out a sigh of relief when he saw that it was full. "Yeah I can afford it, dattebayo."

Yugito nodded and grinned lightly before giving him a light kiss on the cheek as a thank you. Seeing the waitress in front of her, she asked the couple what they wanted to eat.

Naruto glanced over at Yugito, waiting for her to order. He was still blushing slightly from her kiss on his cheek, and grinning like an idiot.

Yugito ordered two plates of sushi when the waitress came towards the two of them along with a glass of water.

Naruto ordered a bowl of ramen, deciding that he didn't want to pay for the five he would usually eat- especially since it wasn't his favorite place. "So, Yugito-chan, are you going to be staying in Konoha?" He asked after the waitress left.

"I hope so. Mata-chan said that she talked with the Hokage and I wouldn't be surprised if the Kyuubi talked to him as well about me," she admitted. The neko was a little nervous though, especially if she did have to go back to Kumo in the state that she was in.

Naruto nodded. "I hope so, too. I don't want you to leave." He said, smiling at her. "If they really did talk to the old man, then he probably said you can stay. He was always accepting like that..." His smile faded slightly.

'you really want me to say that?' Yugito silently asked Matatabi who responded with a nod and a threat of headaches if she didn't say it word for word. Giving Matatabi a mental roll of the eyes, she turned towards Naruto. "I can't believe I was made to say this, but Mata-chan is right. 'There should be no brooding or emo-ness when you're out on a date with a neko as pretty as me, nya~" she said as her cheeks lightened up, though whether it was due to embarrassment, anger or something else was entirely unknown.

Naruto blinked, and stared at her for a moment, broken from his sadness by her words. Then, he chuckled. "Yeah, you're right. There's plenty of time to mope later. Right now, I should focus on my beautiful girlfriend, dattebayo." He said with a huge smile.

Yugito's blush deepened at being called pretty by Naruto as they both waited for their food.

An awkward silence descended, and Naruto played with his chopsticks. He wasn't sure what to say to break the silence.

Meanwhile, the sand siblings and Gemini had reached the gates of Suna. Gemini had woken up, but was still unable to change back as of yet. Still, she wanted to try before they entered the village.

Yugito was thinking of something to say to break the awkward silence that fell between the two of them. However, nothing was coming to mind at the moment.

Gaara sensed that Gemini was awake and was trying to revert back to her normal size and hoped that she succeeded. He missed talking to her honestly.

Clearing his throat, Naruto said the first thing that popped into his head. "What do you think I would look like with fox ears?" His face lit up red with embarrassment the second it came out his mouth.

After several minutes of trying, Gemini managed to transform back to herself, but it took a lot of energy. She sat on the ground, catching her breath for another minute before looking up and smiling. "No sweat." She joked.

"I think you would look cute. Especially if you added a tail," she admitted with a light giggle and blush. She had to admit it was something that she was curious about...

"I see," he responded, though Gaara could see that she was still very winded. "So...I guess we know what next to train you in, hm?"

Naruto chuckled self-consciously, rubbing the back of his head. "Uh, thanks..." He said.

Gemini laughed. "I guess so. But at least now I know that I can do that, and how. I'll be able to change easier now." She said.

"Why do you ask?"Yugito asked curiously. Before Naruto could answer, the waitress returned with their food.

"I see," Gaara said in understanding since it made sense. "So the only reason it took you so long this time was because you didn't know that you could do it in the first place?"
