As soon as the waitress left, Naruto grinned. "I don't really know why I asked. I just wanted to break the silence, and that popped into my head- Kyuubi." He said, realizing that the fox must have put the thought in his mind just to mess with him. "Stupid fox, messing with my head."

Gemini nodded. "Right. It just kind of happened when I was trying to get away from those goons. And since I didn't know I could do it, I didn't know how to change back. But I've figured it out now, so it'll be easier next time. I'll have to save that one for when I really need it, though, since it takes up so much energy."

"Then I should thank the Kyuubi for giving you a good idea, though I'm curious if it could really happen..." she said as finished the thought with a light blush, hiding it as she placed one of the sushi in her mouth.

"I see. It makes sense then, but definitely as a last resort. Though...youarecute," he said, muttering the last part of the sentence so quickly that it was barely understandable

Naruto blushed as well, ducking his head as he ate his ramen so that she couldn't see it. In the back of his mind, he heard the Kyuubi snickering and teasing, but he ignored it. "Yeah...I don't know if it could."

Luckily- or unluckily, depending on who you asked- Gemini's sensitive ears picked up what Gaara said. "Oh, really? Well th-thank you." She said, blushing a little.

"Oh I could...it just depends on how badly you want it and if I was willing to give up a few tails," The Kyuubi muttered silently as he watched the two eat. However, he wouldn't let the brat know about that...not yet anyways.

Gaara's cheeks had a light tinge of pink to them as he glanced over to Gemini. "I should have expected you hearing that," he said with a light sigh. He would have to be careful of what he said around her it seemed, not that he cared quite honestly, but it was still something he had to keep in mind.

Naruto kept eating, blissfully unaware of the fox's thoughts.

Gemini grinned and giggled mischievously. "I hear much more than you think." She said, twitching one ear for emphasis. "So, shall we enter?" She asked, gesturing to the village gates.

Yugito ate her sushi quietly as she mulled the thought over. She had to admit that she was curious as to what Naruto would look like as a kitsune.

Gaara blushed lightly at that before mumbling that he would keep that in mind. He then nodded to Gemini's question and headed towards the gates

Naruto looked up, an idea striking him. "Hey, I know! I could use a transformation jutsu to see what I'd look like!" He said.

Gemini fell into step behind him, suddenly feeling a little nervous. She was about to enter a village she had never been to before, and attempt to live there. It was a bit scary, but also exciting.

"Could you? I really would like to see that, nya" she admitted with a blush on her cheeks.

Gaara extended his sand to wrap around Gemini softly, to show that he would be there with her no matter what. "Come on Gem-chan. The village isn't going to bite," Temari called out to the vixen.

Naruto nodded. "Sure, totally! I'll try it once we get back to my apartment, dattebayo." He said.

Gemini smiled shyly and blushed, embarrassed that they had noticed her hesitance. "Okay. Coming." She said, glancing over at Gaara with a small smile to thank him for being there for her.

Yugito nodded as she turned back towards her food, eating quietly in peace. She had to admit she was curious as to how he would look like as a fox. 'Someone has an active imagination... Matatabi said, causing Yugito to blush lightly.

Gaara cocked his head to the side in confusion, wondering why Gemini was smiling and blushing before writing it off as a girl thing for the moment. He'd ask his girlfriend, which still made him wonder how that happened in the first place, when they had some time alone.

After that decision was made, Naruto happily went back to eating, making sure to eat slowly so that he wouldn't worry Yugito.

Gemini took a deep breath as she walked into the village, and let it out all in a rush as she caught her first glimpse of Sunakagure. It was amazing! "Wow..." She whispered.

After a few minutes, Yugito had finished her food, patiently waiting for Naruto to finish his. 'Who would have thought I would have a boyfriend...and be able to stay with him?' she thought silently

Temari couldn't help but laugh at the hanyou's giddiness at seeing Sunagakure. Even if it was the first time for the vixen. "Impressive, isn't it?"

Naruto finished soon after. "That was really good! No comparison to Ichiraku's, of course, but still really good. Ready to go?" He asked.

Gemini nodded, to awed to hide her emotions. "It's amazing. Everything is so big! And the craftsmanship on the buildings is really unique and bold, and completely effective for the weather in the area. It's unlike anything I've ever seen!"

Yugito nodded her head in the affirmative.

Temari giggled lightly as she nodded and started explaining how and why the buildings were exactly like that

"Great." Naruto said, standing up. They had already paid, so he only left a tip on the table before leaving.

Gemini nodded, clearly already understanding the reasons. "Whoever designed them did their job well. They're solid and streamlined, definitely able to last. I've always appreciated architecture." She added, realizing she probably sounded strange.

"Really now? Perhaps I should start calling you 'Annie' like in the books I'm reading," Temari teased. "But it's alright. We don't think you're strange. Now those Taijutsu crazed guys from Konoha? Those guys are weird," she added with a light shiver. Even talking about those two made her feel like that.

Gemini frowned. She knew that Lee and Gai could be a bit much, but..."Do you really think you should be insulting them when your brother nearly killed Lee-san? Last time I checked, the doctors were saying that Lee-san would never walk again." She said darkly. She didn't want to make Gaara feel bad, but it had to be said. Lee was her friend, after all.

Temari frowned lightly. I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that...and I do hope that Lee can recover,"Temari said, apologizing to Gemini about her comment a few seconds ago.

Yugito followed Naruto out of the restaurant, though she felt a little bad for him having to pay for their meal.

Gemini nodded. "Apology accepted. And so do I. Lee-san had one dream, just one thing he wanted out of life, and that was to be the best ninja he could be. Without that...it's like he's already dead. But he won't give up. He's stubborn like that." She said.

Naruto led her back towards his apartment. "Man, I can't wait to get home! I feel like I was in that hospital bed for years!" He said, stretching his arms above his head.

"I hope he can recover then...even if I was the one who caused his injuries," Gaara said softly as he walked with Gemini and his siblings.

Yugito laughed at what Naruto was saying. "Don't like hospitals I take it?" she asked after getting her laughter under control.

Hearing Gaara apologize was like a punch to the gut. Suddenly, Gemini felt horribly guilty for making a big deal out of it. "I-I'm sure he will. And honestly, Lee-san is the kind of guy who had probably already forgiven you." She said, trying to make him feel better.

Naruto chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "I guess I've just spent too much time there in my life." He said, stopping at his door and getting out the key.

"I understand," Yugito replied softly, knowing what it was like to be inside of a hospital for multiple periods of time. And even there you couldn't completely trust the staff to take care of people like her. Seeing Naruto getting out the key, a thought occurred to her: If she was going to be living with him...should she get a key herself?

"You're probably right. He does seem like that sort of guy," Gaara said back to his usual self. He still felt bad for hurting one of Gemini's friends, but if she was the one saying it, then she was probably right.

Opening the door, Naruto stepped aside to let Yugito in before entering. Once he was inside, he flopped onto the couch with a sigh. "Hey, Kitty-chan, remind me to go to the locksmith tomorrow and get you a key made. You're gonna need it if you're living here. And even if you moved somewhere else, you should have one just in case." He said.

Letting the subject drop, Gemini occupied herself by taking in the sights. "So, where do you guys live?" She asked after a while. She was exhausted, and even though she wanted to see the village, she really needed rest before she could.

Yugito headed inside and giggled lightly once he flopped down on the couch as she cocked her head to the side in curiosity. "Why would I have my own key if I moved out?" she asked, before also asking about seeing what he would look like with fox ears and a tail, hoping that he didn't mind her asking about it so soon.

"Well, like, say I asked you to come over for something, but I wasn't here when you got here. Then you would need a key. Or if you just wanted to visit and let yourself in. Or if there was an emergency, or if you needed somewhere to go. Plus, shouldn't a girlfriend have a key to her boyfriend's house?" He said, before jumping up. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Okay, hang on...transform!" He said, making a hand sign. A cloud of smoke engulfed him, and when it cleared he stood there, looking much the same except for the bright orange fox ears on his head, and the orange tail waving behind him. "So, how do I look?"
