"Why are you lying to me Naruto?" Yugito asked as she could see the uncertainty in his eyes and hear it in his voice.

the sand siblings exclaimed at the same time that they wanted breakfast, Gaara laughing lightly afterwards.

"Ah..." Naruto looked around, shook his head, and sighed. "It's nothing, really. I'm just not used to taking breaks while I'm training lately. Just sitting around doing nothing makes me jumpy, so I keep training until I'm too tired to keep going, and that's the only time I can sleep. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to inconvenience you." He was starting to get jittery even as they stood there, as if he couldn't handle standing still for even a short time.

Gemini looked up, startled, then smiled brightly. "Gaa-kun, I've never heard you laugh before. You should do it more often, you have a nice laugh."

"That doesn't mean you have to stop what you're doing just because of me Foxy. And while I wish I didn't have to pry the info out of you like a civilian dentist, thank you for telling me. Just...don't think you have to hide something from me just because you think I'll be annoyed at you. Now let's get going before you start planning a prank or trap," Yugito responded. She was telling the truth; she didn't want him to think that he had to keep secrets from her. And it wasn't like he was the worst of the hyperactive people here...no, that title unfortunately felt to the abominations known as Gai Maito and Rock Lee.

Gaara shrugged lightly. "Uh...thanks? he replied. It was honestly hard for him to laugh since he didn't find many things funny

Naruto seemed to relax slightly. "Okay...sorry, Kitty-chan. I won't keep secrets anymore." He said, glad that she wasn't angry at him.

Gemini giggled and took a bite of her eggs. She found Gaara so cute when he was confused like that. He was like a little kid sometimes, and it made her just want to squeal and hug him.

"Please don't. I'll forgive you this time, but next time you might not be so lucky, okay?" Yugito asked, honestly meaning it. She had been lied to so many times while in Kumogakure, quickly shaking her head to get rid of the past bad memories.

Gaara still looked confused before shaking his head and taking a bite of the eggs and bacon. Despite one being a pervert and one being a lazy ass, both Kankuro and Shikamaru, who Gaara knew to be attracted to his sister, were right about one thing: Women were troublesome. Though he wisely just kept that to himself.

Naruto easily guessed the direction her thoughts had gone, and instantly looked guilty. "I'm sorry. I'll remember next time, that's a promise!"

Gemini finished her breakfast in relative quiet, taking a break every once in a while to ask someone to pass something. "Well, I'm done. Temari-san, could we go back to the library today? I could use a day of studying after that survival test."

"Thanks..." she said softly.

"Sure," Temari replied once she finished breakfast and placed her dishes in the sink, knowing that Gaara would most likely do them before going out to do some training. Kankuro she wasn't sure about, but he did say something about buying some more parts and poisons for his puppets.

Naruto nodded. "Okay, let's go and get some training done!" He said.

Gemini went and put her dishes in the sink as well. "Cool, thanks. I'm ready to go when you are."

Yugito grinned and nodded before waiting for him to lead the way.

"Don't mention it Gem-chan," Temari replied. "And I'm ready right now. I just need my sandals."

Naruto went tot he door and headed out, looking back once to make sure Yugito was following. He decided to hop across the rooftops of the village rather than taking the streets, as it was faster and a good warm up.

"Great, let's go!" Gemini said energetically, running to the door where her sandals were waiting and putting them on. She waited impatiently for the older girl before racing out the door.

Yugito quickly followed Naruto out the door and up to the roof, having a feeling she knew why he wouldn't bother locking his door but kept silent about it. 'Good idea, Shinobi Highway,' she thought with a light giggle as she let her cat features show themselves.

"Look like she's eager to learn Temari-sensei," Gaara replied

It took a good ten minutes, but they soon reached the training grounds where Naruto and his team mates had first truly become shinobi. It was his favorite place to train. Touching down lightly in the center of the clearing, he turned to look at Yugito. "Want to start with a little hand-to-hand?" He asked.

Gemini poked her head back through the door. "Are you coming? Come on!" She said excitedly.

"That sounds like a very good plan," Yugito replied, knowing that it had been a while since she sparred just using taijutsu. She just hoped she wasn't that rusty...

Temari giggled before responded that she was coming and quickly put her sandals on before heading out the door.

Naruto nodded and got into a fighting stance. "Okay, standard hand-to-hand, Taijutsu only, fight serious but fight fair, and don't hold back. Ready? Go!"

Gemini bounced happily the whole way to the library, totally ignoring any stares she was getting. Why should she care? She was officially a ninja of Suna, she had a home and great friends, and best of all, she had the worlds best boyfriend. Why shouldn't she be happy?

Yugito nodded before getting into a stance and got ready for just about anything that Naruto could do.

Temari laughed as she made her way towards the library with Gemini. 'you really know how to pick a girl brother,' she thought with a smile.

Naruto launched forward with a punch, starting off simple.

Once they reached the library, Gemini made a serious effort to tone down her buoyant attitude. It wouldn't do to be bouncing around in the library. "What book should I start with, Temari-san?" She asked, keeping her voice at an acceptable level.

Yugito saw the punch coming and brought her arm up and away from her body a bit, strengthening her muscles through will and chakra to block it before countering it with a quick palm thrust with her left hand.

"Start with something small and work yourself up from that," she said.

Naruto quickly brought his own left hand up to block the palm thrust and knock her arm away at the wrist. At the same time, his right hand darted forward to try for a hit on her stomach.

Gemini nodded and headed off into the rows of books. She came back minutes later with seven books piled in her arms. A closer inspection would reveal the entire Harry Potter series. "I almost forgot that I started the first one. I can't wait to finish it and start the second!"

Yugito saw the punch coming towards her stomach and twisted her body to the side in order to deflect it, sending chakra down her tail in order to take the hit for her as well as hopefully catch Naruto off guard.

"Those bring back memories," Temari said wistfully.

Naruto allowed himself to continue falling forward, using the momentum to flip himself over. Immediately upon landing, he crouched and spun around with a sweep kick, trying to knock her down.

"You read them? Cool! When I'm done we can talk about them." Gemini said, sitting down and opening up the first book to the exact page she had left off on.

Yugito didn't see the sweep kick coming and fell onto her back, wondering if that saying about cats were true or not. Putting that thought away for later, she quickly got back to her feet, ready for round two.

"Sounds like a plan,"Temari said with a grin.

Naruto saw her go down and went to finish the fight, but she was already on her feet. He quickly changed direction to try and punch at her head, but it was a bit sloppy.

Gemini nodded and started reading, wasting no more time.

Yugito ducked under the fist and used the fact that he was unprotected to launch a quick palm thrust to his side.

Temari took out a book that she borrowed from the library and started reading herself. The last place she ended, not that she wanted to, was such a cliff-hanger type spot

Naruto let out a slightly pained huff, but jumped backwards without complaint. He came back in quickly with a left hook, which he switched at the very last second to a right kick.

Yugito was prepared to block the punch that was coming towards her face, unprepared for the kick at all as it hit her in the side.
