Gemini nodded emphatically. "He was young at the time, and someone dragged him away. That's all I really know about it, though." She said. "Oh, here's the first training ground! Have I told you the story of team 7's test yet? It's funny, but it's really interesting because it goes back several generations."

"Oh?" Gaara asked, curious as to what Gemini meant by that.

Gemini nodded. "Well, let me start with the story. See, the first day team seven was supposed to train with Kakashi-sensei, he gave us a test." She started, and proceeded to tell her boyfriend the story of team seven's bell test. "And as it turns out, Kakashi-sensei took that test from his sensei, the Fourth Hokage, who got it from his sensei, Jiraiya-sama, who got it from his sensei, the third Hokage. So the bell test has been passed down like that for generations." She explained.

"That's actually quite interesting, to tell you the truth," Gaara responded once he heard the whole story; he was telling the truth, he actually found the story to be quite interesting.

Gemini nodded, smiling widely. "I thought so, too." She said. "Oh, and over here is the memorial. The names of all the Konoha shinobi who died honorably in battle or on missions are carved here. Iruka-sensei's parents are here, and so is Kakashi-sensei's old friend Obito. The Fourth Hokage, the Third Hokage...actually, I think all the Hokage are on here, too. These names are new..." She said, running her fingers lightly over the newest carvings.

Gaara listened to Gemini intently, glad to see her talking so animately about something. There was a soft grin at seeing Gemini talk about, even if it was about a sad topic. "We have something like that as well...though it isn't as well known," he admitted. "I can show it to you when we return"

Gemini looked up, a sad smile on her face. "I'd like that. I used to come here all the time, you know. It started when I was little, and I needed somewhere to hide. No one, not even my adoptive father, would disturb this place. But it became a habit as I got older. I found it comforting, coming here to pay my respects, surrounded by the spirits of these brave shinobi. It would be nice to have somewhere like that in my new home." She said. There was a moment of silence before she spoke again. "Let's move on to some other parts of the village."

Gaara nodded, knowing that she would like to see it if what she was saying was true, which it most likely was. "Alright then, I'll take you there as soon as we get back then," he said with a soft smile on his face, knowing that it would probably be a good idea to get going...especially if she was starting to bring up bad memories again.

Yugito was still in the hospital room, going over what Kurama had confirmed. She then wondered if she should talk to Naruto about this or not...

Gemini smiled and took Gaara's arm, leading him back into the village proper. The next place she brought him wasn't what she expected it to be, however. She stared at the ruined buildings with shock, watching the teams of shinobi and citizens alike working to restore everything. "This is...where the invasion started." She realized. "I should have stayed. At least long enough to help clean up. They needed help, and I just left..."

Naruto resurfaced in his mind. Are you finished talking? He asked. Can I have my body back now?

"Hey now, several things happened that made you leave, your...father," he said, spitting that last word out as if it were poison, "among other things. You don't have to beat yourself up over it," Gaara finished while wrapping an arm around her hesitantly, not knowing if it was okay to do that or not.

"Yeah, I'm done. You can have your body back," Kurama responded as he let Naruto have his body back, knowing that he would want to talk to his girlfriend. "Just don't make your future mate cry, alright? She's thinking about a lot of things."

Gemini turned towards him, hugging him as she buried her face in his chest. "I didn't know it was this bad..." She said sadly.

Naruto mentally nodded. Okay, I'll do my best. He said, just before taking his body back. He blinked a few times, then smiled. "Kitty-chan? Are you okay?"

Gaara continued to hold her, not knowing if this was the right thing to do or not, and slowly rubbed her back in a circular motion. He remembered his uncle, before he had to kill him, did this to him every once in a while to help him calm down.

Yugito smiled lightly as she heard her boyfriend, future mate from what Mata-chan said about it, call her by her pet name. However, the smile didn't go to her eyes. "I've been better, but I think I'll get through it. What about you...You alright?" she asked, genuine concern running through her eyes.

After a few minutes, Gemini had calmed down enough to move on. She reluctantly pulled away from Gaara, smlling a little at him as she did. "Thank you...I'm okay now. Let's...go somewhere else."

Naruto wanted to ask his girlfriend what was troubling her, but the Kyuubi's words about respecting her privacy rang in his mind still, so he didn't. "Yeah, I'll be fine. Just a little bruised is all." He said with a smile.

"That sounds like a good idea," Gaara replied softly, knowing that seeing the stone brought out such sadness in his girlfriend. He'd have to think about doing something special for her, but didn't know what...yet.

"Alright," she said with a light grin, debating if she should tell Naruto about her problems or not. True she trusted him with her life, but she didn't want him to do something drastic like what he did when he asked Kurama to make him a kitsune just so that she wasn't alone in that. 'Should I...?' she thought to herself.

Gemini led him out of the ruined section of the village and headed for Ichiraku's. "Are you hungry? We'll get something to eat, and then I'll order one to go for Naruto-kun." She said.

Naruto tilted his head curiously. Yugito was being more quiet than usual, and even he could tell that something was on her mind. Despite the privacy warning, he decided to ask anyway. "Kitty-chan, is there something bothering you?"

"Perhaps we should get two to go for Naruto-kun after we eat? I doubt he'll just be pleased with one bowl," Gaara replied, having overheard how his first friend was when it came to ramen.

Yugito sighed lightly, knowing that sooner or later she would have to tell Naruto. It would have also been better if it came from her mouth instead of secondhand. "Actually...there is" she replied, before telling him about the conversation she held with the kyuubi.

Gemini laughed. "You're right, he wouldn't. Actually, he'd probably take three, but the last time he was in the hospital the nurses told him he couldn't have more than two a day." She said.

Naruto listened intently, letting his girlfriend say everything she had to say. When she finished, he was silent for a bit, then nodded. "Well...the way I see it, it's not really something you have to worry about for a long time. And if Kurama says you'll still be yourself, then you will. And I'll still be with you no matter what, forever."

Gaara chuckled lightly at that. "That sounds like something he would do," he replied.

'Yeah...you're right, I'll still be me and you'll be by my side...right?" she asked softly.

Gemini nodded. "It's something he's done more than once. In fact, there was this one time that he actually broke out of the hospital just to come here. When they caught up with him, they had to drag him back and tie him down with special chakra chains so that he couldn't leave again."

Naruto gave her a thumbs-up. "Absolutely! I'll always be right by your side, no matter what! It's a promise!" He declared.

Gaara chuckled lightly at the story being told

"Thank you..." she said softly while leaning next to him, unknowingly purring.

Gemini sat down and ordered.

No problem, Kitty-chan." He said, absently patting her hair.

After Gemini ordered, Gaara ordered some ramen himself. He was glad that he was able to spend some leisurely time with his girlfriend

Matatabi giggled lightly as she watched the scene from behind her "prison" surprised that Yugito was acting so much like a neko at the moment but wasn't going to call her out on it...for now. Blackmail and teasing for later; however, was still on the table. 'Still...I wonder why she asked Kurama about that and not me...'

Yugito continued purring softly as she stayed next to Naruto's side, slowly dozing off to sleep, glad that she didn't have to worry about Naruto leaving her over something that she couldn't control...

While they waited for their food, Gemini decided to talk. "So, Gaa-kun, I've been wondering..." She started, trying to word the question correctly. "Have you thought of...maybe switching to a regular genin team?" She asked. "I mean, I know you've been trying really hard to get the villagers to see you differently. I though that maybe if you worked on a regular team, you could show everyone that you're not that scary." She suggested.

Naruto smiled softly, drifting off to sleep next to Yugito. His last thought before he fell asleep completely was that he was incredibly lucky to have found the neko girl.

"A regular team? What do you mean?" Gaara asked as he turned towards the fox girl, curiousity shining in his eyes. He was already on a team...wasn't he?

"Poor kitten..."Matatabi thought softly as she watched over the girl that was her jailor...and who she had come to see as a daughter that she was never able to have. Gently taking control over Yugito's body, she manipulated it so that she was sleeping next to Naruto comfortably by his side, then just having her head resting on the bed.

Gemini fiddled with a strand of her hair, trying to figure out how to explain. "I mean...a standard genin team. Like...you and Temari-san and Kankuro-san are a special team, you know? You're...high-ranked. Not only are you siblings, but...well...you're really only on a team together because no one else would work on a team with any of you." She blushed all the way down to her feet, feeling bad for saying that kind of thing, but it was true. "So I figured if you were on a different team, like, with regular genin instead of your siblings..."
