"You don't give yourself enough credit," Clint replied. "I know you wouldn't hurt me, so it's fine."

Alexis huffed. "Stubborn," she said, half amused, half berating. "Such a pain." But then she grinned and relaxed again.

"Yeah, but you don't mind, or else you'd have kicked me out by now," Clint said, grinning.

Alexis snorted at him. "Careful, I might still," she threatened, still grinning. "You did invade."

"Did not, you invited me in," Clint retorted, grinning back. "That means I'm a guest, not an invader."

Alexis snorted. "Nope, invader," she said, smirking. "Won't convince me otherwise."

"Uh huh," Clint said, raising an eyebrow. "Still haven't done anything about it, then."

"Should I?" Alexis shot back with a faintly challenging smirk.

"Are you?" Clint challenged in return, smirking back.

"Dunno yet." Alexis smirked. "Maybe you should convince me to let you stay."

That was pretty much all the invitation Clint needed. Leaning in swiftly, he kissed her.

Alexis blinked at that, eyes wide, before she shivered a little and relaxed. Okay, that was unexpected, but totally okay.

Clint pulled back after a moment or two.

"I've been wanting to do that for a while," he admitted.

"You're not the only one," Alexis muttered, looking at him. "So. Can I expect you'll be doing that more often now?"

"As long as you want me to," Clint replied quietly. "Just give the word."

Alexis grinned and leaned up to kiss him again, now that she knew she could. Oh she was definitely going to take advantage of this.

Clint grinned and returned the kiss. That was definitely a better reaction than he'd been anticipating.

"Alright, maybe I won't kick you out," Alexis said when she pulled back, grinning teasingly at him.

"If you did, I wouldn't be able to keep doing that," Clint pointed out, grinning. "Or... Anything else you might want me to do."

"True," Alexis said with a grin. "Sounds like you have something else in mind already."

"Nothing in particular," Clint replied. It was only a small lie. He wasn't even about to hint at anything until she gave him a clear signal that she wanted him to go further.

"Shame. 'Cause if you did, there's a real good chance I'd be on board." Alexis shifted a bit to look at him.

That made Clint raise an eyebrow.

"Oh really?" he asked. He grinned and kissed her again. "More than this?" he murmured.

"More than that," Alexis agreed, smirking, challenging again. Because she was going to see how far that got her.

Clint smirked back and kissed her again, this time making his intentions clear.
