"Oh no, we have to come up with a new sheet every time Tony makes a new gadget for you," Alexis said with a snort. "HR still thinks you're a nightmare. So does medical. They all turn purple just at the thought of you."

Clint nearly cackled.

"Awesome," he said again. "My reputation is intact, then."

"Indeed." Alexis stretched and got herself another glass. "Alright, fine, we'll find Stark in a bit and ask him if I can crash on this couch, he's not using it."

"Good call," Clint said. He looked up at the ceiling. "You catch that, J?" Because all of them knew that Jarvis was always listening.

"Of course," Jarvis replied. "I will relay the request immediately. And if I may, Agent Barton, I would advise that you leave at least some of Sir's preferred Scotch in the cabinet."

"Yeah, yeah," Clint said. "And honestly, my name's fine, no more of this 'Agent Barton' business."

Alexis snorted and shook her head. She wasn't planning on having any more. So she got up, still remarkably steady, and went to go clean her glass and put it away.

Clint finished of his glass and followed her.

"Agent Sabatello, if you're ready, Sir as agreed to lend you the use of a guest room for the night," Jarvis said.

"Thank you both," Alexis said. "Just point me in the right direction and I'll be fine." Although she got the feeling Clint might escort her.

"C'mon," Clint said. "J, where's the room?"

"The main guest floor," Jarvis replied. "The third room has been opened for her."

"I know where that is," Clint said. "Let's go."

Alexis followed Clint easily, slipping into the room once they got there. "I'll see you in the morning, I suppose," she said. "If I haven't overstayed my welcome by then, I'll make pancakes."

"You'll have earned everyone's undying love just for that," Clint assured her. "Everyone loves pancakes, and I'm the only one who knows how to make them right around here."

Alexis snorted and hoped she wasn't crossing a line by doing that. "Well then, I'll make lots. See you in the morning."

And then she could have a proper last meal before Coulson killed her or something.

"See you in the morning," Clint said. Once she was in her room, he went off to his own room to settle in.

Alexis ended up getting up early, even for her, and was in the kitchen making massive bowls of pancake batter by the time Steve got back from his run. She also had out eggs and bacon to cook and bread for toast. Because she knew who all she was feeding.

Clint was also up fairly early, and grinned when he saw the spread of food.

"I knew it was a good idea for you to hang around," he said, grinning and sitting down on one counter.

"You would think so," Alexis said, looking at him before she went back to her cooking. "I think I've got everything covered, we just need Tony and Thor to appear." Because Steve was sitting at the table with coffee and his paper, Natasha was perched on a counter eating chocolate morsels out of one of a few packets, and Bruce was sipping tea, looking faintly surprised still.

"Tony's probably in his workshop," Clint said. "Bacon barely even lures him out, so you got your work cut out for you there." He smirked. "Thor should show up in about a minute or so."

Indeed, Thor did show up, following his nose. He grinned when he saw Alexis cooking.

"Jarvis, see if you can get Tony out for me," Alexis said as she flipped pancakes onto a stack. "Threaten him with my gun if necessary."

Clint couldn't cover a snort when he heard that. He liked this agent more and more by the minute.

"Sir would like me to inform you that he is currently in the midst of a project and will, quote, 'be up soon,'" Jarvis replied after a moment. "Agent, I would advise just leaving him a plate, it would do much more good than trying to get him out of the workshop at this time."

"Right, will do, thanks," Alexis said. The next few pancakes got flipped onto a separate plate and set aside for Tony for later. "Clint, grab that stack, you guys start in on that and I'll have more for you in a few minutes."

"Right," Clint said, grabbing the platter and putting it on the table. He promptly grabbed three pancakes for himself and went back to sit on the edge of the counter. He glanced over briefly as Coulson walked in, gave the man a shit-eating grin, and started on his pancakes.

It took Alexis a few moments to notice Coulson, and when she did she yelped, jumped, and almost burned a pancake.

Phil just raised an eyebrow and turned back to the tablet he was reading the morning paper on, reaching over without looking to fork a pancake onto his plate. Clint couldn't quite cover a cackle at that.

Alexis took that as a sign that she would be okay for the moment and went back to making pancakes, going through all the batter and getting everything else onto the table before Natasha finally herded her into eating too.

"So I take it last night's operation was successful?" Phil asked once Alexis was settled at the table. "I apologize for missing it, but I had business with my new team."

"It was successful, and there is a reason I'm working with them, Agent Coulson. We all know you're busy and no longer have time for full-time Stark-sitting duty." Alexis grinned briefly.
