"Yes it is." Crystal smiled a bit. "Would be even better if I could find a decent job too."

"I'm sure you'll find one," Paige said. "Maybe our luck is turning around."

"Maybe." Crystal shrugged.

So when, later that day, Charles went into labor, Crystal just swore inventively about their luck.

Paige moved in to take over looking after the kids. She figured Crystal could see to Charles for the time being.

Raven helped Paige, getting the kids into a few cars, Darwin driving one, her taking one, and she offered keys to Paige.

"Can you drive?"

"Yeah," Paige said, taking the keys. She raised an eyebrow a bit. "Is this a key for one of those really pretty expensive ones?"

"Yes," Raven said with a grin. "Are you kidding? Erik refuses to own a vehicle that is not gorgeous and expensive."

"At least it's good engineering, then," Paige muttered. "And he won't kill me for driving one of his cars?"

"No, and definitely not for a situation like this," Raven said. "Just follow me, I know where we can go to wait this out."

"You sure you don't want to stay with Charles?" Paige asked. "I can help Darwin and Alex look after the kids, it's no problem."

"I would, but I can't," Raven said with a shrug. "Like I said, he doesn't have his normal blocks when he's in labor, so anyone without a natural immunity gets subjected to everything he's thinking and feeling."

"Right, okay," Paige said, quickly matching up key to car and opening the door. "Time to babysit, then."

Raven snorted and went to go get in her car, since she had a few of the kids, and started driving towards the city. She knew just where to take them all for the night.

Paige got the remaining kids into her loaned car, and followed Raven. Hopefully, they would be able to distract the kids long enough.

Raven headed straight to Stark Tower and parked, calling Tony.

"Yeah?" he answered, clearly in his lab.

"Let us up. Charles went into labor and we need somewhere to keep the kids for the night."

"Yeah, sure, come on up," Tony said, still sounding distracted. Paige just waited patiently for the permission to go inside.

Raven ushered all the children into the elevator (which still fit all of them without a problem) and headed straight up to the living quarters.

The elevator opened on the main living room, and Raven grinned a bit when she saw Clint. She'd met him before, so she waved to him briefly as she got everyone out of the elevator.

Of course, Tony didn't realize what he'd actually done until Jarvis reminded him he'd likely have to get quite a bit more food than normal to feed everyone. Then he swore.

Paige followed, keeping the kids in line even as she looked around the place partially in awe and partially wary. Never in her life ha she thought she would be allowed into Stark Tower, especially not while the Avengers were there.

The kids all settled in happily enough, and Clint coughed up a few more controllers so they could all play video games. Mario Kart and Super Mario Bros, by the sound of it.

Raven grinned and looked at Paige. "Relax. We'll stay here until it's safe to return, and until then the kids will be entertained for us."

"I feel like I shouldn't be touching anything," Paige admitted after a moment, gingerly sitting down.

"Thor lives here," Raven said dryly. "Don't worry about damaging anything, it's all been Thor-proofed."

"And nobody minds us just showing up?" Paige asked.

"Oh I'm sure Tony will complain, but he always does. So the answer is no," Raven said with a shrug. "Just try and relax, really, it's fine."

"If you're sure," Paige said. "I'll blame you if something goes wrong, though." She grinned a bit.

Raven laughed a bit and went to go get herself a drink, waving to Natasha as the spy passed on her way back to her room.
