Desmond headed over to Ezio first, since he had an idea of where he'd be training. For a minute, he just sat on a rooftop and watched. Everything looked good, at least.

Shea went to find Harper, instead, curious to see what her friend was doing.

Ezio noticed Desmond on the rooftop, but didn't do anything about it. He would likely enlist the other Assassin's help later, however, for stealth training.

Desmond just watched, making note of the group and who was doing better than who would likely need a bit more help.

Harper had her group on target practice, having set up a nice space where it was unlikely someone would stumble on them by accident, standing behind the group as she watched them.

Shea made her way over to her friend.

"How are they?" she asked.

Ezio was surprisingly patient with his group, encouraging and tutoring rather than being too harsh. He was strict, but not outrageously so, and his group seemed to do well.

"So far so good," Harper said with a little grin. "Their aim is improving, after a few mishaps."

Desmond wasn't too surprised to see that, but he took note of it all the same.

"Ours just got run into the ground," Shea said. "We let them go a bit early because of it."

Harper snorted. "Yeah, mine will be in a day or two. I'm going to rotate their training schedule." She grinned when one nearly hit the center. "Better. See if you can do that again."

Shea nodded.

"We're going to do the same. Although we are going to have them run every morning, for conditioning."

"Good plan," Harper agreed, mentally adding that to her list. "I should start that too. Climbing and running should be at least every other day, if not daily."

"Yeah," Shea agreed. She grinned. "Just like our masters did to us."

"Exactly," Harper said with a grin. She gave them another half hour before she called a halt to training for the day, watching them all vanish again.

"Well, that wasn't so bad."

"Ten bucks says we're ready to crack a few skulls by the end of the week," Shea said, grinning a bit. "Hopefully this is a good batch, though."

"Oh I'm sure we'll be ready to bash in a few heads," Harper agreed. "The problem arises when you want to bash in all their heads instead of only a few."

"Hopefully we won't hit that point," Shea agreed. She grinned a bit. "I managed to out-climb them all even after giving them a head start."

"That's not too surprising," Harper said with a shrug. "I can't imagine any of them have much practice."

"But watching a woman beat them should encourage them to improve," Shea said. "The men at least."

"Definitely," Harper agreed, stretching.

"Well, I don't know if you noticed, but there's almost nothing edible around, so I am going to go pick up food for dinner. Want to come with?"

"Sure," Shea said. "Should we drag Desmond along, or leave him here?"

"Food is on the way back to the hideout from here, so I figure we can pick it up and see if they're even back yet or not when we get there." Harper shrugged a bit.

"Works for me," Shea said, grinning a bit and adjusting her hood. "Is it bad if I still miss my hoodie? Like, there are things I would do if I got to wear my jeans and hoodie again. It was so much simpler than... this."

"I know," Harper grumbled as she started towards her new favorite food stall. "I mean, we could wear them around the hideout, but we're only there in the evenings, really."

"Yeah," Shea agreed. She made a bit of a face. "I bet Desmond is just fine, though."

"Probably," Harper said with a little snort. "Bastard already had a chance to get used to all this before."

"Exactly," Shea said. "Thought I bet he still gets a bit weirded out talking to Ezio."

Harper snickered. "I hope so. We get weirded out often enough that deserves to feel at least a little off here too."
