"No, it doesn't." Desmond smirked faintly. "Of course those two can handle themselves, but it is easier to go undetected, particularly for them."

Ezio pounced on the unusual wording.

"How so?" he asked, looking at Desmond.

"I have found that they're frequently underestimated and go unnoticed, more so than I do," Desmond admitted. "And I don't think it's just because they've had more practice."

"They are women," Ezio said, as if it explained everything.

Desmond snorted and shook his head. Of course he knew that, and it did explain a lot. But even still.

"Are there any supplies you need to pick up before we go back?"

"Nothing pressing," Ezio replied. "There are things I will pick up later, but nothing for the moment."

Desmond nodded and motioned for him to lead the way back, already starting to think of what they'd have to do to build up the order.

"Are there any others of us in this area?"

"Not many," Ezio admitted. "Far fewer than I would like. Several newly trained, however."

"So you've already started building up the ranks. Good." Desmond pondered that until they got back to the hideout. "So you need a few more trainees, and you need them all to be trained well enough that they won't get themselves killed."

"Ideally more than a few, but yes," Ezio replied. "The Order is scattered, and small. More are always welcome."

"So we need to help build up the order, start training people. Do you have somewhere the Order gathers, or not really? Because that's another thing we could work on." Desmond looked at him, raising an eyebrow a bit.

"Not a permanent place," Ezio responded. "It would be too noticeable. I prefer to make sure the Templars don't catch wind of it."

Desmond nodded. That would work fine for now, but once there started to be more members, they would need a permanent place.

"What do you need help with the most right now?"

"Training," Ezio replied immediately. "Sometimes, there is simply not enough time to train recruits and accomplish what I need to accomplish all at once."

"As soon as we figure out the language thing, we can all help with that," Desmond said. It wasn't his first time training someone, and he knew the girls had done it before too.

"You speak the language very well," Ezio commented. "Do your comrades not?"

"No, not as well as I do. I think they both speak bits and pieces, but not much else." Desmond shrugged. "Certainly not enough to speak to someone when training."

"I see," Ezio said. That would pose a problem. Very little could be taught non-verbally.

"I'm hoping we'll find a way to fix that," Desmond said. "I wouldn't even mind more interference from the Piece of Eden now if it lets us all communicate without a problem."

"I would not hold my breath on the matter," Ezio replied wryly. "If your Piece of Eden behaves at all like the Apple does, at least."

"We'll figure something out," Desmond said after a few moments. Because they really, really needed to all be able to communicate.

Ezio nodded and headed back into the safehouse once they arrived.

Desmond followed him in and went to go find the girls and give them the news.

Harper had already gotten bored and was perched up on the roof just people watching for the moment.

Shea was with her, stretched out on the roof and watching the clouds. She sat up when she heard Desmond's footsteps.

Desmond dropped down next to them.

"I got your clothes ordered, I think we're picking them up tomorrow. Ezio said he needs the most help with training, so we need to get the language situation figured out."
