Well if the roomates are goind to be away then you cna treat it sa a Nemo Time, take a warm bubble bath, eat your lasgana and pie by candle. paint your nails. Listen to your music way up loud. You need a break from them it sounds like. And you sound like a smart cookie, the term papers can probably write them selves if you already have the right references.

Well my actual roommate is fine, it's the other two - well one of them really that's just pissing me off lately with her whining and bitching over little things that are sometimes just out of our control.
I just am afraid I'm going about them both wrong. Blah, stupid papers! D: *pokes them*

I have a degree in BS. The one thing I learned about papers is to quote everything. And then rietierate the quotes. and repeat until your point is made.

Yeah, I just am afraid that he's going to give me a bad grade because I'll do one tiny thing wrong and he'll refuse to read it because of that one tiny thing. >.< I'm starting to just wonder why I keep on doing this to myself... I've been in school way too long. D: *sighs* :( I've been through so many finals that I've lost track... and I hate it every single time. :(

Why would a professor refuse to read a paper because of one thing? Even as a TA we still had to skim through all the papers with a rubric to make sure they were able to hit all talking points. Didnt really matter if they couldn't form proper sentences.
For longer papers it was more of, did they cite correctly? Are the citations reliable? Do the citations make sense? It the thesis clearly stated? Do the citations verify/back up the thesis? Is the results/discussion there? Does it bring the paper to a conclusion or are we left asking more questions? basic stuff. On the longer papers spelling/grammar counted for more, but still not a huge issue.
Just chill, and take a deep breath. I'm sure you'll do fine with the papers. It's not like you're writing a how to on brain surgery... unless you are

I don't know. He just keeps on stressing that it needs to be amazing writing, and that he really has been stressing things yadda yadda yadda... D: And lately my writing hasn't been as good as it should be. Blah. I just can't seem to be able to sit down and focus on writing lately, no matter what it's for. :(
It's on the communication issues that arise through hearing to deaf, but mainly focusing on Deaf-blind.

If he's stressing it then it's probably just reienforcemtn for those who are slackers or can't form a decent paragraph. You sound like neither. Just assume the yadda yadda yadda was for the flunky sitting next aisle over in lecture, because they were playing WOW on thier computer instead of taking notes.
Deaf studies right? I think you know what your studies entail and how to go about in constructing a solid paper. So just chug through it.
My gram is blind so I'm used to dealing with blind individuals. I know just enough ASL to ask about pets when the deaf come into the store. Goldfish, fish, cat, dog, ferret, turtle, snake, how many, thank you, and fireworks (which I was told was a good enough replacement for congratulations).
And some odd ball words like lesbian and hoagie/sub,

True. Still makes me nervous though.
Well this is an intercultural coms class, but yes, I am Deaf Studies. And given that my roommate is deaf-blind, and I've been learning communication challenges of living with someone who has a hard time seeing - she's legally blind, but still has a bit of sight so I can still sign with her but there are things that I've been having to learn that's different.
Hahaha, love the combo of signs there! It's always good to just know the basics, and haha, yeah, you can replace the two, all depending on context of course. Well, it depends on the version of sign you're using - you're in the States, yeah?
If you ever do want any good sites for helping with more signs, I can point you in that direction. I know a decent video dictionary that I use. :]

The fireworks I know is the three hand bursts.
When someone told me they had gotten a new puppy I told them "fireworks!" and then thanked them.

Yeah, some are interchangeable, all depending on context. That's one of the things that makes it hard.
Awww, awesome!! :D

Well done everyone! Considering I'd been so busy throughout most of this month and having computer problems, I'm surprised I managed to get as much as I did done.
I have written 3448 words. Unlikely to write any more even though there is still time before midnight. Going to catch up with friends this evening and most likely into the night.

hardware problems, I can't turn on my computer most of the time, and when I can it often freezes or shuts down by itself.
I'm currently using a tablet that my dad bought recently.
