That would make their antics seem mild. I am hanging in there. Lots of tears the last two weeks, not sure why its been worse these to weeks. Maybe the holiday, who knows.

Oh very mild compared to my toddler on a sugar rush... it's been a challenge with her today!

That's good. I've been dealing with a pretty bad bout of Postpartum Depression - one of the reasons I've not been on much. I'm trying to work through it with my doctor - and my therapist.

Sorry to hear it's been rough.

I'm sorry Moony. Depression is just no fun.

It's thrown me for an absolute loop. I do have to say that my husband, his family and my brother and his wife have all been absolutely amazing with helping out as best as they can - especially the the girls!

I am glad they are helping and supporting you. If there is ever anything I can do, even if its just listen to you vent, let me know.

Had a mother in one of the day cares I was working in. It was her first kid and he was only two months old when they enrolled him because she had no choice and had to go back to work. At least once a week she would break down and the head teacher would take her into the adult bathroom to let her get it all out. That was the only real private place we had. The mom felt like a bad parent for having to leave her kiddo at such a young age.

The poor mother. The expectations that bosses have for things like that is crazy. Silver got 3 days of bereavement pay when her man died. The rest of her time off sucked up the last of her PTO and part of the last week she was off with no pay because she had used up her PTO. She kind of had to go back then because she needed the distraction and the money.

Oh that sucks hard.

Yeah there was at least one day when I called in because I felt like crap and couldn't stop crying. My boss was a little ticked about that and they day my supervisor sent me home because I had learned the autopsy results and was a mess. Fortunately SHE understands mourning. She lost her son several years ago.
