I agree, the brain is one of the least understood things on earth. I think sometimes they just go haywire and we can't explain why because that's what happens sometimes.

We know the basic mechanics of the brain, but not the fine tuned parts. Nothing like what we know of the heart, kidneys, stomach. Blows my mind that we haven't spent more time trying to figure out the human brain.

Night Kirin!
@ Andais: It's baffling, I know. Of course, even in Star Trek they don't know everything about the human brain, so maybe it's not so weird?

So what you're saying, Taiyo is, it shouldn't be space, the final frontier...but BRAINS! The Mysterious unknown...
And we shrink down the Enterprise and send it off into missions of mapping the brain and discovering biological stuff within it! Definitely watch that show. Especially when they have to make friends with microbes and other living matter inhabiting the same space.

I feel like they have made shows like that before...
Like the one with the white blood cell and he teams up with a pill to stop this kid from being sick or something? That was a fun show!

Hey Moony. How have you been? I think it was a movie before it was a show. I think it's Osmosis Jones. Might not have been a movie. Might have just been a show. Here's what I found for it. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0181739/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Thanks, Moonlit! :)
Ohhh. Okay, yeah I think that was it!
I vaguely remember watching either the movie or the show when I was young and I enjoyed it, from what I could remember. I always liked shows that went inside the human body.

Hey y'all. How is everyone?
Sorry guys I'm not sure how much I will be on in the next couple of months. My schedule seems to have exploded with busyness. I leave Wednesday morning for a trip to Oregon with my mom to see my grandma and uncle. Get back from that on July 30-31. Then I have the premier for my friends' movie, that I stunt doubled in, on August 11. A fundraiser/wrap party on the 13th. Then on the 17th of August, I hope a plan for Pennsylvania to see a friend and also meet a romantic interest that I have been talking to, (a friend of the friend I am going up to see.) Come back from that on the 23rd. Then September 8th I leave for Ireland with another friend and won't be back until the 24th.

That was a mix of animated and real life...I was talking about like Star Trek, but within the body. Almost like Inner Space (The movie with Dennis Quade, Meg Ryan and Martin Short), but way more scientific. Educational even. *shrugs*
Ordered Lunch and wasn't starving then, now I am. Come on food!

What's for lunch, Queen? :D
I wouldn't mind a cool TV show about the mind and body. As long as it wasn't... Graphic? I dunno. I mean, I'd probably faint if I had to watch the ship rip through blood vessels and important nerves in the brain or something.
I used to have a CD-ROM game that was about a girl who was having problems remembering things and over time her memory got worse, so you, (the player) was shrunk down and sent into her brain to figure out what was going on. It was really cool, I got to discover different parts of the brain and what they did and you played games. Anyway, it turns out the reason why she was forgetting things and her cognition was bad is because of this little green memory monster that was chewing the cranial nerves and if the monster was not caught, then eventually she'd go brain dead. So the whole objective of the game is to catch the monster and figure out how to get it out of her brain.
There was multiple ways you could destroy the monster. I can only remember two, but there was like eight options for destroying the monster based on how you caught them. The one way I remember the most is by catching them with "brain junk food" and then pointing a laser at them and blowing them up, but instead of destroying the monster it blew the monster up into mini monsters and you'd have to start the game all over again. Then the next way I remember was to send the monster to another part of the body.

Lunch was a salad and small soup from Kneaders. Very tasty.
Sounds like a rather interesting game, Ava. Can't ever say that I heard of it, but we were only allowed to play games that taught us to type when we were younger. When the internet came around we had AOL and that's what really kicked my typing skills into over drive. All my friends had AOL so we chatted on IM and there would be like twenty conversations going on and I didn't abbreviate words, so I had to be quick or get left behind.
Seems rather messed up that you would send the monster to another part of the body. There was no permanent way of killing off the monster?

well they're straight up talking genocide of the israeli people and i for one am extrememly upset by this. a few should not account for the actions of a whole people.
and i could go out and vote but my one little vote for idk. the green party (seriously haven't picked who i'm voting for yet) won't be worth schmitt if the masses still go well we HAVE to vote republican or democratic because those are what everyone else votes for *kicks them all repeatedly*
i've been voting other party for years. so no i'm not just joining in with the i have to vote main party. It's just we now pretty much need another party and its going to be useless to even try because.
and thank god i'm safe from the draft.
I predict world war three is coming.

I registered as Independent so I get the ballot that has everything on it. Voting main party...it's a joke. When I was younger, I classified myself as a Democrat with Republican tendencies...according to my mother that is Independent. So, here I am.
Not that I am comparing Trump to Hitler, but more that the comparison is between the United States people and the German people, their mindsets at the time. We are following a person(s) that is feeding off our collective fears, saying what we want so desperately to hear and we're missing the bigger picture. Hate and anger aren't the way to solve problems, they create more issues. A little understanding and taking a step back to see the forest for the trees. We're missing the big picture because the media has us focused on a few key spots that will sell them ratings. Part of the reason watching the news is impossible for me.
On that note, I am starving! Should have gotten myself something to eat on my way into work this morning.

I still can't get over Anton Yelchin's death... :'c
@Queen
Yeah it was a pretty messed up game lol. It used to be my favorite game up until I had a nightmare about it one day and I never played it again. I was a little kid though, so I'm sure the game isn't really as scary at I thought it was back then! I have been trying to find it online but I have had no luck.
I've also known some people to compare Trump to Voldemort.
