"I can only imagine." Raven shook her head a bit. "Well, if it helps at all, you've got more to fear from me than from them. They may be an Alpha and a Beta, but they're both very well bred, and they'd sooner swallow their tongues than do something so publically embarrassing as hurt a human." She grinned.

"Good to know," Willow said. "And since I'm on suppressants, I don't have to worry about the Alpha reacting to any of my pheromones."

"Exactly." Raven pulled the door open to the restaurant and ushered Willow in first. "See? We're not so bad in general." She grinned teasingly.

Willow rolled her eyes and headed into the little restaurant.

"I could bring some potted catnip in for my desk," she teasingly threatened as they were given a table.

Raven laughed a little bit and sat down, shaking her head. Catnip was both evil and very, very fun.

Willow grinned back as she sat down.

"I will never let you live that down," she said. "That one time with the catnip."

"I figured." Raven rolled her eyes and shook her head a bit. "Long as you don't bring any in to work..."

"You're safe," Willow said. "I make no such promises at home, though."

Raven just snorted at that. At home she could deal with it. Just not at work.

She ordered her normal when the waitress came over to ask, grinning a bit. This one was one of her favorite waitresses.

Willow knew the waitress, as well, and didn't mind that they chatted for a minute or two before she took their orders.

"This is nice," she commented. "Quiet day at work, good people here..."

"Yeah really." Raven grinned. "This counts as a good day in my books."

"Definitely," Willow said. She paused for a moment. "The chocolates didn't hurt, either."

"I didn't get chocolates, I got general sweets." Raven grinned. "They're delicious~."

"I got a box of chocolates," Willow said. "Really good chocolates."

Raven nodded. "I'm not surprised. They're probably glad they don't have to do too much herding and bullying with us." She grinned briefly.

Willow nodded.

"Yeah," she agreed. She grinned. "Getting it out of the way now, they're gorgeous."

"They kind of are. The dog is a bit too showy, he's from one of those old upper-crust family. But the cat is nice." She grinned.

"Showy, but so very pretty," Willow said, grinning. "It should be a crime for a man to be that pretty, especially an Alpha."

"Seriously," Raven said with a snort. "He's prettier than I am sometimes, there's just something wrong with that."

Willow snickered.

"No kidding," she agreed.

Raven pouted for a few moments before she got over herself and shook her head.

"Well, how much longer do you think we have until we're finished with that?"

"Hard to tell," Willow said. "Depends on how much more we unearth. A few days, maybe?"

"A few days to a week, without any surprises," Raven agreed. "If there are surprises, hell if I know, but if not we should be fine."

Willow grinned.

"Like that nest of mice you found in the back corner?" she asked, snickering. "That was great."

Raven pouted a bit. "They're mice. They're too small to chase, and too bony to be eaten. What was I supposed to do with them?"
