Sesshomaru nodded a bit and got to his feet. This once, because they'd made more progress than normal that morning, he would treat for lunch.

"Where would you like to go for lunch?" he asked Willow.

Raven set down the most recent box, huffed, and gladly stepped away from it, shaking herself off a bit.

Willow blinked.

"Lunch?" she asked. "I like that little diner down on the corner, why?"

Hisoka glanced at Raven to make sure the little diner was alright with her.

"Because a break is in order, and I find myself a bit peckish." Not quite true, but close enough to achieve what he wanted.

Raven nodded a bit. She liked the diner too, and they had a great soup that sounded fantastic for lunch.

"Alright," Willow said, straightening her shirt. "The diner's a good place. Small, but they make good food."

Sesshomaru nodded and motioned for her to lead the way. He didn't mind following, after all. Sometimes.

Willow grabbed her purse and headed for the door. Soup at the diner sounded wonderful. She glanced back to make sure they were following her.

Hisoka waited until Sesshoumaru had gone out the door before gesturing for Raven to follow.

Raven nodded and followed Willow out, trusting Hisoka to close the door behind her. Sometimes he acted more like an Alpha than a Beta, which was fine with her.

Hisoka did indeed close the door, and followed them all out. He was on the dominant side for a Beta, and therefore had no problem keeping an eye out for any potential threats.

Raven was still relaxed as they moved into the diner, waving briefly to the pair who owned and ran the place before heading to the table she and Willow normally took in the back.

Sesshomaru let the girls pick first, sweeping the place visually. It was rather nice, actually.

Willow followed Raven to their usual table, sitting down and tucking her purse under her chair.

Hisoka waited for the girls and Sesshoumaru to sit down before taking a seat himself.

Sesshomaru perused the menu before he looked at Willow. "Any recommendations?"

Raven settled in easily, not even bothering to open her menu. She knew what she was getting.

"Half a sandwich and a cup of soup," Willow said, grinning a bit. "It's just enough for a lunch portion."

Hisoka picked up his menu and took a quick glance through it.

"What would you suggest?" he asked Raven.

Sesshomaru nodded, looking through that section. He was rather surprised to find a few things he thought he'd like.

"The soups here are all good, the sandwiches are generally good, and if you get the tomato soup and grilled cheese you can dunk the sandwich in the soup." Raven grinned briefly. "That's what I plan on doing."

Willow watched him for a moment, already setting aside her own menu. She didn't need it.

"I see," Hisoka said. "Perhaps I'll try that, then."

Sesshomaru picked one and set his menu down.

As if summoned, their waitress moved over again, smiling at them. "What can I get for you all today?"

Willow looked up at the waitress, grinning a bit.

"I'll have what I usually get," she said. She glanced at Sesshoumaru.

"The roast beef sandwich and tomato soup," Sesshomaru said with a brief nod as she took his menu.

"Grilled cheese and tomato soup for me, with my normal tea." Raven grinned a bit as she handed over her own menu.

"I believe I will have the same," Hisoka said, handing his menu over as well.

"Coming right up," the waitress said, taking their menus and smiling at them before she headed back to place the order for them.

Willow settled back in her chair with a small sigh, sipping at the glass of water that had been put next to her.

"Feels good to get out of the office for lunch," she commented.

"It does," Raven agreed, settling down as well and taking her iced tea. They always made it just sweet enough for her without it being overly sweet.

"I swear, if that Beta from downstairs doesn't stop trying to make a pass at me..." Willow trailed off, shaking her head. "I'm glad to escape for lunch today."

Raven laughed a bit. "I can always scare him off for you," she said with a bit of a grin.

That made Sesshomaru raise his eyebrows a bit. Most Omegas were not at all fond of violence, even demons.

Willow just snickered.

"If that was going to work, I'd have done it myself," she said.

Hisoka was also a little surprised. Raven was just getting more and more interesting.

"True," Raven conceded, settling in a bit more. "Well, you can always threaten him with mouldy paperwork."

Sesshomaru raised an eyebrow at Hisoka, because of course he'd noticed the cat's interest.
