Oh fantastic, how on earth did he get an invite? She practically had to pull teeth with the higher ups to get their invitations and this guy just had one lying around. It would have been a lot more convenient just to take his and as a bonus he wouldn't have been able to make it. Cimy was not a fan of this Calister fellow, she did not like how he stole all of Reaper's attention. She wasn't even fully aware of the glare she was giving Calister.

But then those red eyes were back on her and nothing else mattered. He was staying, for some reason it seemed like that was all she heard and before she knew it she was smiling happily again. Uh oh, what did he say? she realized as her mind came to a blank, right, back to business of course. Common woman, when did you become such a space case?

Shaking the cobwebs from her scattered brain she nodded to Reaper, "Of course. It's actually not far, now that we're in the nice side of town." she turned and hopped out the front door and skipped to the side walk, "just follow the grey brick road!" she coated the sidewalk in shadows, creating a subtle brick pattern as they went along, eventually ending up in front of a very large estate.

With a swift turn and a flourish of her arms she bowed, "I present to you, the Aetis manor"

((I am so bad at describing architecture. Feel free to have at if you'd like))

With a smirk on his face the whole time while they walked, Reaper couldn't help but notice that Cimmerian was unusually happy. He didn't break her happy skip until they were before the party house. Plopping his elbow on her shoulder, he looked down at her with a devilish twinkle to his crimson eyes. "So, you and Calister, shall I hook you two up?" He could see the look of utter annoyance and disdain in her eyes. It was nice to see this side of her. She was all riled up over something as silly as this. Laughter came from his direction as he lightly massaged her shoulders. "My my, you're quite tense. Does Calister have this effect on you? If so, I simply must engage you two." With a wink, he playfully twirled toward the manor.

The building was simply adorable. It had a cobblestone base with arches that lead to the "basement" sun-room. The room was filled with outdoorsy furniture and a bar for pleasing guests. The cobblestone bottom lay eventually faded and was replaced by brown siding and green trim. A large front entrance welcomed all, but first one had to cross over the cobblestone bridge that was built over the driveway. The homeowners must park their cars below the main hall for it seemed to be the only place that cars could go. It wasn't until he was inside the room that Reaper discovered that the "main hall" was actually a lobby-like room that lead to the main house and down to the parking. His brows cocked at the oddness of the design but saw it meshed well with the rest of the house. The three story building could easily confuse guests, getting them twisted and turned so that they couldn't find their way out. Thankfully, a domed room in the center of the house served as the living room, which made orientating oneself all the easier. To the back of the living room was the dining room, which was connected to a kitchen off on its left. To the right was a den and then a study. The upstairs appeared to be off limits, indicating it was merely rooms for sleeping. Either that or it was a mess.

The hosts ushered them into the living room where they were to welcome everyone. By the time Cimmerian and Reaper had the mini tour, Cimy's favorite green haired man had arrived with his white haired master. The two were on the opposite side of the room, closer to the garage rather than the kitchen. Giving Reaper a light pinch, his head bobbed toward Calister. "The offer is still on the table."

While the host spoke, Reaper's eyes danced around the room, soaking everything in. The house was very rustic in appearance, which made it rather cozy and homey. The furniture was all wood-based and the floor weren't carpeted, allowing the natural hardwood floors to be seen. Animal nick-knacks decorated the tables, shelves, and walls, but in a noninvasive way. Reaper presumed it was for Horatio, as his blindness would make obnoxious trinkets a hazard. Speaking of Horatio, where was he? And what about the other woman... Constance? Weren't they supposed to be here? His eyes dilated some, hinting at his lack of a amusement. "Where is our guest of honor?" he murmured rhetorically.

((How are we going to do this? Are we now going to bring these characters into the Bricks on Sticks story? Or are we going to keep them here and base their actions on what happens in BoS?))

((Also, this is the house I used ^_^))

The look of distaste was clear upon her features. The last thing she wanted was to have Calister anywhere near them again. "I have no interest in the man" she stated bluntly and haughtily turned away from the subject.

Cimy had seen her fair share of wealthy abodes but this one in particular was a bit odd. Sure there were your eccentric rich people but she got a feeling that this place was more than that. The peculiar layout made her wonder if it had been built on top of something that was already there-yet everything also seemed so uniform that the notion seemed as unlikely as it was likely. Quite frankly it was both intriguing and annoying to think about.

She hadn't actually noticed Calister's appearance in the large room until Reaper pointed him out and she found herself glaring at the man again. With a huff she turned her eyes away from the vile green hair, at least they weren't anywhere near them. She did notice that for some reason Reaper seemed to enjoy teasing her about it. Well if it made him grin, then she wouldn't stop him. Still, what on earth did those red eyes see in that man? He was irritating to say the least, or so he had come across to her.

Horatio was still a no-show, Cimy had noticed and evidently so had Reaper. He seemed displeased so she looked around the room again and nodded her head to someone who was trying to get wine from a servant. "Mikhale Hunbergher is over there" she pointed out, "Perhaps we can start with that one?"

((I was thinking that we'd have to bring them over to the other RP, you know, whenever everyone's together and whatnot. Then when they separate, we come back here))

The look of disappointment washed over Reaper's features. Cimy was no fun when she wasn't pleased with a "shipping." Then again, Reaper wasn't sure if he would be happy if he were in her situation. Still, it didn't phase him and, honestly, it wouldn't make him stop. He would continue to push her buttons because he simply could. Oh the joy of having such power!

When Cimmerian pointed out their next victim, Reaper frowned. Not quite who he wanted, but it would at least stall them long enough until the other pair arrived. Besides, Serk looked busy so he needed to do something other than just stand there. Following the dark-skinned lady's move, he found himself beside a cheese plate. Instantly forgetting the mission, he indulged in the cheese and crackers placed neatly on the tray. He tried the bree, the cheddar, the spiced, the glazed -- well, everything. He eventually felt the woman's impatient glare behind him. Taking a few crackers with him, he silently but obediently moved with her. She was better at this job than he as it was her primary job. Taking the backseat on leading, he waited her instruction.

Cheese, was he seriously scarfing down cheese? Cimy found herself staring at him in disbelief more than anything else. After all, what had happened to that calm, cool, collected and serious man? Because now he was eating cheese like there was no tomorrow.

Trying not to laugh at the hilarious contrast she cleared her throat, "Would you like some wine with that?" she teased lightly but left it at that. It was time to get down to business again as she set her sights on the target. However, just as she was about to make her move, that annoying woman drew everyone's attention. With a sigh she turned to watch their second target come into view.

"Well well well, look who finally showed up" Cimy commented, leaning back against the food table, "He's much more charming in this setting. How are we going to pull him away from the others..." her eyes gazed around the room for some sort of clue, they settled upon the chandelier and a grin crossed her ruby lips, "You know, it would be a shame if that stunning thing wasn't secured properly. Anyone caught underneath it would be in great danger..."

"I don't actually like wine. I'm more of a vodka guy. Although, tequila and rum are acceptable too. I suppose a beer would do, but please no wine." A smile graced his features. It was evident that he was more than capable of being friendly and charming, especially by this more mellow demeanor of his. Perhaps cheese had a calming effect on him? No, that was just odd. Reaper was probably just at peace because he knew what would eventually follow.

With her cue to smash the chandelier, the raven smirked. It would be fun.

Then, Serk's attention broke free and was directed right at him. Shit. He needed to talk to this guy, but he also needed to help Cimy go about her job. How the hell was he going to kill two birds with one stone. A flash of green flickered before his eyes. A large grin appeared on his face.

"I know you hate your boyfriend, but Calister might make things easier. Much easier." His red orbs directed her attention to the yellow-eye butler. With a wink, he signaled Calister into position. It was quite remarkable that, even though they were across the room from one another, that they could perform this act.

Raising his hand, he paused his friend. "Get ready," he warned.
