I didn't buy any of the Sandman either. They don't sell comics here, stupid people!
Anyway, I got them in pdf form from a friend, don't know how she got them but I'm far from complaining Lucifer was a spin-off from the Sandman. It had an entirely different story line, but used some of the places and characters. Good Omens though One of my all time favourite novels. Yes, the Stardust changes were a bit weird, the books are most of the times better, in my opinion.

-pauses to read poem-

My God. I'm not lying when I say that I just sat in silence for a while. That was epic, the man is a poet too!!!
Now I want to attempt a sestina

Hmm, maybe I'll look for pdf ones online. I do know about the seven endless. They're so... so hauntingly awesome!
I love Good Omens, too. The characters in it are just written so beautifully and the humour you can find here and there in the story.
Have you read his short story, Snow, Glass, Apples? If not, you really, REALLY should! I never get tired of reading that story again and again. Let's just say, you'll never read a certain fairy tale story the same way again.

I tried writing my own sestina but I gave up. lol I guess, I need to wait for inspiration to come up. I used to write poems and stories a lot before but I suddenly can't write a good one anymore. At least a story or poem that I, myself, judged as good so I end up just erasing/deleting it.

Dream and Death are so badass
Putting Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman together was a stroke of genius! I really think that they need to write another novel together... or make a movie out of Good Omens. I can just see it as a movie. Those bikers

I will never be able to see Snow White the same again. Never. Ever.
That being said, that was really one of the best retellings I've come across. Takes me back to the original fairy tales, the creepy ones. Thanks for showing me that!!

I have to try one, but yes, inspiration would be necessary Time to break out my music
I'm going through a stage like that now. Not that I don't think they're good, but I just can't put pen to paper. Sometimes it's natural to not be overly fond of what you write, that's why it's best to get a second opinion. Or, maybe force yourself to write until you're comfortable with it. That's what I'm trying to do

Hey Lumpeh! I'm good. Going to go to bed soon. Yourself?

Raven, I want to tour Discworld. The whole concept of it is awesome
You should definitely check out Gaiman, he's epic. I recommend Stardust or Coraline. His Sandman novels are his masterpiece though

This thread feels so empty without SZP around.

Why? Does this usually happen after an event?
SZP is on vacation right now, which is why she hasn't been online for days now.
